Just Because!

Very similar animes. Tsuki ga Kirei could be seen as a version of Just Because! in middle school. Besides having the same atmosphere, the romance type is very close to the one observed in Just Because!. They seem very realistic and not sometimes overly comic and silly. The pace is very comfortable where there is no redundancies that'll make the story boring. It captures the viewer from the start until the end. The innocence of the characters in Tsuki ga is very notable. Probably its what it makes better than Just Because! where they are older. Calm, nice and very cozy school romance dramas.

Similar triangle love story around MC (not including additional ship), similar character personality, same serious (and rather gloomy) atmosphere with occasional humor just because is far better regardless whose couple you ship because the execution is that good, better character and more enjoyable episodes too 

Both shows delve into the personal intricacies of romance and interpersonal relationships at the high school age range and have a rather cynical lead character. Just Because has a stronger focus on the romance aspect while Oregairu has a more subtle approach. However, Oregairu also covers other social dynamics and digs deeper into its characters. 

Very similar moods between these two. Slightly awkward characters trying to figure out their romantic feelings as well as their place in the world. Irozuku focuses much less on the romance (though it is still there to some degree) and more on deeper rooted emotional problems. Just Because! focuses more on post-high school worries and uncertainty of the future. They both have really good lighting and music. 

Love pentagons galore. In all seriousness, these are two very enjoyable romance stories. Lots of drama and emotions, but it all feels believable and easy to get invested in. Nagi Asu's drama stems from the characters being so young that they don't really know how to properly express themselves. As they grow, they come to understand themselves more. Just Because! has more of it's drama from the fact that the characters are about to graduate and have lots of uncertainty about their futures. Both have similar moods (though Nagi Asu obviously has a fantasy element to it as well). I personally think all of the characters in both are very well-written. It's rare to watch a show and like every single character; not one that annoyed me or felt out of place. Super good lighting in both as well. If you want character drama and romance, these two are loaded with it. Also they both have great soundtracks, though Nagi Asu takes the cake for the best one. read more 

I was sobbing like a baby from both of these, finest romance drama in the game... Both contain love love triangles, & intense intimidating drama regarding it. Our main protagonists are a little dense in both, causing drama to get out of hand. 

I don't know why but I got the same feeling watching both shows. The scenarios, the artwork, the animation, the character.. 

I felt a similar vibe on both shows. Both have very light stories - not too serious, not too complicated, not too romantic. Some may find these shows boring but I must say that they are both realistic in depicting real life high school romance. 

Both are anime where the MC returns to his hometown, where he had many friends.  

Both feature end of high school romance with a large cast of likable characters. Kids on the Slope is very rooted in it's time period, but both have a very similar feel. Kids on the Slope is a bit more "fun" and "upbeat" though, given the fact that jazz is a huge part of it. Good romance and coming of age stories that are easy to get invested in.  

High School Life. Honest-to-goodness high school life with friends, transfer students and a healthy dose of not-so-straightforward romance mixed in. If this is your cup of tea, then by all means go for either show. Orange does have a little bit of a sci-fi setting (and a good deal more drama because of it), while Just Because has a perfectly normal setting. 

I would argue that these are two of the most believable love stories in anime. The stories themselves aren't perfect, plenty of drama and uncertainty, but that's what makes them feel human. They are enjoyable to watch and it's easy to get invested in the characters. Good dynamics between the pairings.  

"Just Because!" reminds me of "Kiznaiver" despite it lacking the sci-fi aspect. The romantic character dynamics are complicated but in a good way. The two can genuinely bring in the excitement as each scene unfolds; this is due to the fact that it introduces a fresh concept, an idea where two (or more) persons love the same person. As for my opinion, both are entertaining to watch, although it might be boring in some parts it is satisfying nonetheless. Haven't watched anything like these in a while, and I am glad I gave it a chance. 

While i dont like this anime because of the animation and bleak story. It bears similarity with tada kun in terms of being non harem, shonen. Ive seen a lot of people give it a 10 and maybe this is the way to go for those who liked those particular elements of tada kun 

If you like School and Romance anime, this might be one of your options. Overall, they are pretty similar, although if you prefer Comedy then Horimiya is better, but if you like Drama, Just Because! would do it. The drawing in each series are very good, too. Plot wise, both have a very good story. 

Trains, childhood crush, moving to a distance place and losing touch, suffering by unrequited love, "web dating" - there's a lot in common between Just Because! and Byousoku 5 Centimeter. You can expect a (much) happier mood in Just Because! 

Highschool romance mixed in with a little supernatural. If you liked Just Because then Kokoro Connect will surely not disappoint.  

it's not a love story, it's comedy but if you liked this anime I am almost certain that you will have fun with this one. 

Romance and relationships among a group of young people. 

In both shows, the relationship between the main couple is quite simple but serious in a sense that each individual has his/her own personal issues that they had to resolve first before they became true to their feelings for each other. In both anime, you will surely watch all the episodes because the most awaited part (in every romance anime) happens on the last episode. 

If you took the graduation part of K-On!! and stretched it out to a full series, added a love pentagon and a bit more drama, and took away the guitars, you would have Just Because!. Well, that might be a stretch, but the moods are certainly similar. K-On!! is much more comical, but when it's time for the emotions to hit they both do it wonderfully. Good group dynamics in both.

Besides having the same atmosphere, the romance type is very close to the one observed in Koi to Uso. They seem very realistic and not sometimes overly comic and silly. Both tell a story about the struggles of teenage romance where sometimes one does not know who really likes. The pace is very comfortable where there is no redundancies that'll make the story boring. It captures the viewer from the start until the end. Calm, nice and very cozy school romance dramas. 

Minus the gaming element in the story which is more than apparent in High Score Girl, the relationship between its characters feels oddly similar. Love triangles are not a rare sight in anime but how it develops its characters, these 2 anime series have it the same way. 

A great show has a similar school atmosphere both have love triangles 

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge and Just Because! both take place in a school setting, and they have several layers of inter-character relations built up throughout. While Just Because goes for a dramatic story, Tanaka-kun goes more for the comedic element. The male protagonist pairs are somewhat similar in terms of personality, though that's where their similarities end.  

Similar main character, less romance focus but the tension is still there. High school setting comedy with a story based on mystery solving. If you identify with Eita in this show you'll like Hyouka.
