Love pentagons galore. In all seriousness, these are two very enjoyable romance stories. Lots of drama and emotions, but it all feels believable and easy to get invested in. Nagi Asu's drama stems from the characters being so young that they don't really know how to properly express themselves. As they grow, they come to understand themselves more. Just Because! has more of it's drama from the fact that the characters are about to graduate and have lots of uncertainty about their futures. Both series expand the classical love triangle to a pentagon, Nagi no Asukara has a more mature theme though.

Both of the shows have the same love pentagon going on which give them a very similar vibe. The only key difference is the pacing, the environment, and the supernatural twist of Nagi no Asukara.
