Diabolik Lovers

These animes are both reverse harem, otome game adapted animes with relatively dull and lifeless heroines. The males in the series are full of colour and the series tends to focus on them as they're "attractive" selling points. While both are relatively dark series due to the setting and premise, Amnesia is a little more romantic in terms that not all the potential suitors are selfish jerks preying on the heroine. However, Diabolik Lovers has far more "fanservice", if you can stomach the abusive content. Both are mostly made for fans rather than the content. 

The main heroine from both series have similar personality and character designs. The only difference between them is that one was able to react to her surrounding. She knew something was wrong and tried to escape while the other doesn't do anything until the right moment occurs. Amnesia and Diabolik have gorgeous bishounen characters with great voice actors too. Both are reverse harem anime and have been adapted from an Otome visual novel.  

Like Amnesia, Diabolik Lovers is also a shoujo anime and an adaptation of an otome game. Both anime have a quiet female lead with little personality and a variety of male bishounen characters of various personality types too. Infact, both have six main male characters each. If you like reverse harems then you'll probably like this anime! I think that fans of Diabolik Lovers are almost guaranteed to enjoy Amnesia and vice versa.  

I don't know why people are relating this to Brothers Conflict because neither of these series are even remotely similar in terms of atmosphere, plot and storyline. Anyway, both have some messed up guys, have mystery, horror (more on DiaLovers) and involves many bishounen pursuing a helpless female. 

Both are shoujou anime titles that have many handsome boys and nice art styles.  

They are both inspired in a game, harem that doesnt resolve, similar main characters shy and quiet... Confusing endings. 

These animes both have a weak and fragile girl as their protagonist and all of the boys seem to want her. The main difference is that one is being used as a bloodbag and the other one forgets almost every-single-thing in her life. They are both really good but whenever the girl acts all helpless it gets annoying because it does happen a lot. 

The female main character both are practically emotionless and are both extremely naive. They both include attractive looking guys and they all "want" her. Both have beautiful art and the endings are unexpected. If you liked one of these I'm positive you will like the other! 

Both have a quiet girl who is the protagonist of an inverse harem. They get involved with ''hot guys'' because both anime are based on a visual novel. It's like playing the games choosing all the routes and viewing animated scenes. 

Both of these animes have awesome character designs, and they both are adaptions of a game. Unfortunately this means that in both of these animes the main girl is very plain and not very interesting. These are both "damsel in distress" type of series, and fall in the reverse harem category. 

Both have female leads who wake up confused, not knowing where or why they are there before being surrounded by many attractive males, all with different and unique traits. 

Both equally bad series in my opinion, but for those who enjoy these types of reverse harems, then by all means. The girl tries to cope in their own situations while surrounded by a bunch of guys. Both somewhat supernatural and mysterious.  

Characterless lead with tons of hot guys fawning over her. Enough said.  

Do you like terrible adaptations of otome games, utterly useless heroines, and a harem cast of douchebags? Then you're in the right place if you watch either of these two! Though Amnesia's guys are more decent (except for one certain yandere), its heroine who is, amazingly also named Yui, a complete and utter doormat with zero personality. I cannot remember any instance where this girl said anything of substance, or the paltry few words and sounds she's capable of making. Compare and contrast Yui of Diabolik Lovers, and marvel at the similarities! 

I have no other reason to compare these two series than a very much alike main character - a girl, who does not understand what is going on throughout the series, is a very fragile, gullible and has no strength or determination to speak up or act accordingly. Basically, the most gullible person who doesn't take proper action and doesn't even talk throughout the show. But one thing in both series is admirable, and that is very nice looking men.  

Diabolik lovers and Amnesia have a few things in common like harems as well as extremely good looking characters and a weak willed heroine BUT Diabolik lovers is focused more on smut and fan service while Amnesia has a massive plot but involves a smaller amount of smut. Anyway the REAL reason why i recommend these anime is because I myself had(still do) an obsession with DL but couldn't find much other anime like it but somehow found Amnesia so i HIGHLY recommend it *FULL STOP* even if you didn't like Diabolik Lovers Amnesia is much more likely to satisfy your needs. 

Both of these anime are based on Visual Novels wherein a female protaganist has several males vying for her. While not too great on their own, if you are a fan of their source material or just wish for some shallow romance than these both will do the job.

Both animes have a some kind of special girl with a group of boys. Diabolik Lovers have vampires. Dance with Devils have demons. Both girls have a harem.  

What the two have in common: -Reverse hartem that involves guys being in the dark side. -Special girl whom the harem competes for. -Plot that involves the girl being in such poor predicament. Dissimilarities: Dialover: -only runs for a few minutes. -absences of a knight in shining armor. -the plot only features the girl being sicked. Dance with Devils: -The girls isn't completely helpless. -There is a protagonist who will save the girl.

Both these anime are actually pretty similar, as both play with the themes of humans and vampires co-existing in each other's worlds. I'd say that when it comes to the MC, the one from Dance is faaaaaar better than the one from Diabolik, who was just dumb as a rock. Anyway, getting to the similarities> # Female who inadvertently gets caught up in the world of vamps/devils # MC is a high school student # Vamps/Devils feel an inexplicable attraction to her, which is later on explained and explored # Both actually have a plot going on for them, which came as a surprise # Despite being reverse harems, both have a way darker feel to them # Lots of pretty boys fighting over the MC. # MC's parents are absent from both the anime. # Both anime have a crazy sadist/masochist with purple hair who stands out from the rest of the cast, design wise.  read more

Well, this might be strange, but Diabolik Lovers and Dance With Devils have a lot of things in common. Firt, they're both about a girl who thought she was normal, until she meets a bunch of guys(and actually for the female viewers, those guys are hot). Both Dance with Devils and Diabolik Lovers have the supernatural theme to it, as one has to do with Devils and the other with Vampires. Story wise, those two anime are really similar, since they have to do about a single girl, dealing with supernatural beings, falling in love with her(this one may be slightly different in DwD). As for the protagonists. Naive would be on of the key word to use,not that much in Dance With Devils as in Diabolik Lovers though. The female protagonists tend to have no idea that they are trying to be seduced by the male characters when it's quite obvious(in DwD that kind of gets figured out though). I guess, that would be enough. If you're looking for an anime similar to Diabolik Lovers, then Dance with Devils, can be the best option!<3 read more

If you liked Dance with Devils romanticizing "romances" basically being glorified manipulation and sexual assault, having a poorly thought out plot only there for an excuse for "hottie supernatural guys", and the main character making choices so terrible and illogical you'd think she was a shonen female character, then you'll love Diabolik Wifebeaters, trust me! Especially since while the MC in Dance with Devils sometimes defends herself, the MC in Diabolik Wifebeaters is an absolute doormat with no common sense. So for all you people that love your "kawaii sugoi" male waifus despite how terrible they are as long as they're hot, you will have many all-the-way scenes of assault and abuse in Diabolik Wifebeaters. <3 read more 

Both are reverse harem where the female protagonist has a kinda calm but kinda annoying behaviour. The one contains vampires the other demons. 

Both anime has supernatural beings like vampires and devils. The protagonist is a human girl having some kind of connection with these beings. Both have some romance in them. Both anime's plot is excellent and you will enjoy them. 

Weak girl surrounded by literally monstrous guys (devils/ vampires.) Romance starts to blossom although it's king of like harassment starts to blossom in Diabolik Lovers.  

Both reverse harem anime's I watched when I was younger. If you like one of the two, you'll definitely like the other since they're basically the same thing but in a different setting.  

Both these shoujo anime revolve around vampires and they obsessive love for the same girl. Both female protagonists are surrounded by the blood-thirsty boys and encounter them more than once. What annoys me about these anime is that the spineless female protagonists can't do anything but be quiet and obey. They don't really stand up against the beautiful vampires and just let them do as they please. That alone gives the anime a certain boring atmosphere, I think. Still, if you're into romantic vampire stories with a bit of sadism, these two will do just fine.  

Both Vampire Knight and Diabolik Lovers are shoujo vampire anime with good looking guys and a female protagonist who is not the most interesting of characters. There are differences in plot but I'm sure both will appeal to female anime fans who enjoy supernatural anime. 

Both have the same scenario where the female character were raise by an individuals whom were suppose to be very enemy of vampires, both have the same dark romance when there is a competition for female character's affection, in "Diabolik Lovers" the female character is all alone and has to fend herself against the very monsters that she's living with, while in Vampire Knight the female character has a childhood friend (also a vampire) who aides her in controlling the vampire hordes in the very school she lives in.  

Vampires. Male characters after the main female character. Diabolik Lovers has shorter episodes. Plot isn't as great however. School environment. 

Both series have vampires including Gothic and Dark themes and settings. One series has the sweet end of the deal in tone (Vampire Knight) while the other has the opposite resulting it having the bitter tone (Diabolik Lovers). So If you didn't like one of them you might like the other. The only difference is that Vampire Knight is more action base (not all the time) and Diabolik Lovers has little to none but still good in its own way without it as much as Vampire Knight is good with action. If you already watched one of the two give the other a try as an alternative if you enjoy the Gothic and Dark themes and settings including the twist of vampires. If you haven't seen ether I'd recommend them if you like vampires. read more

These shows are both shoujos with vampires. Both have a weak mc with male vampire interests. Overall, vk has a better plot and tries to be somehing more than to just satisfy machochistic fujoshi fetishes. Vk is still not a good show, but it's 10 times better

Both have vampires in them. Both have drinking blood as a repeating thing. Both have heroines who have guys fighting over them. Both kinda have a goth feel. 

Both about vampires and has some romance. There's more romance in the second season of Vampire Knight though. I liked the story line  

Both are dark themed vampire romance stories, with nice art and character designs, a female love interest who's not like the vampires around her and are also reverse harem stories as well too. 

Have a lot in common with these two anime. What's more, the storyline differs at the end, but when it comes to the beginning, the two anime are very similar. Whether it's the fact that a great mystery hovers around the main character (the girl), or that the vampires are all fighting over the same girl. They also have the very similar side in certain scenes, such as for example certain colors which can show a rather striking resemblance between the two. When the fact that some athypic boys are similar, that could make believe that it is a pale copy of an animated on the other, but it is not the case, quite simply because the mysteries hover on girls change the storyline completely. read more

The main female from both series must live with a new family. She doesn't know what to expect from them. In BroCon, she meets 14 step brothers who are all talented and beautiful. We have a doctor/father-figure, lawyer/home-cook/caretaker, cross-dresser, game developer, hairstylist, Idol, voice actors, pro basketball player, florist/gardener, Monk/hostess, a student who goes to the same school as the heroine (her crush), and finally cute little brother. They all fall in love with her and have accepted her to their family. They will protect her. While in Diabolik Lovers, we have vampires who want her blood and have taken interests in her. They will do anything to her. Talented voice actors can be heard from both series. Both series are adapted from an otome visual novel and categorized as reverse harem. read more

Both anime series have so many similarities, it's unbelievable. Of course, both series are reverse harems. Involving a girl - who's sweet personality is overdone and boring, making the brothers actually the most interesting characters in both series. Each episode brings out the same sort of outcome - another brother makes some sort of move on the uninteresting girls. Diabolik Lovers is more to suck the girl's blood. Brothers Conflict, more trying to win her heart. Either way, it's not all that exciting. Eventually there is some lame "plot twist" although there really isn't a plot in either of them to begin with, but I guess there isn't much to complain about considering it really makes no difference. But on a serious note - if you've "enjoyed" one of these, then you'll enjoy the other. Both are full of hot guys with different personality that will makes all of you fangirls go "kyaa" Both have an innocent girl that out of place. Both girl got into the situation because of her father. Both are Shoujo genre anime.  

In both series, the heroine was thrown into an unfamiliar environment. Both are also are in the harem genre. But what makes these two harem different from other harem anime, is that both contain brothers, let it be full blood or half blood, that went after the heroine which causes fights, arguments and conflict in the familys, 

Both shows have a slightly helpless female lead who is thrown into a situation she doesn't understand. They both also have a family of brothers, varying in age and personality. There is barely any mystery to Brothers Conflict, however, besides a bit of drama between two of the brothers. 

Well in both Brother's Conflict and Dabolik Lover's, the brother's in both anime's are pretty close, if not they a natural born rivals. Having a deep passion toward the female character helps with these two anime's being similar, when I first watcher Dabolik Lovers and then Brother's Conflict i was amazed in there simulation's. I truly recommend watching both of these amazing anime's you fall in love with all the charters and they are all so similar!

These two are very similar, both girls end up in a house full of boys, the boys are also very pervy to main character in diabolik lovers and brothers conflict. the main character in diabolik lovers has the same personality as the main character in brothers conflict. also all the boys are in love with them. 

Reverse harem and is pretty similar. I recommend you read the manga and the novel after watching if you want more of this anime. It won't disappoint you.  

If you like cringey reverse harems with insufferable mcs but still a bit enjoyable then these two are for you. 

Reverse harem. Naive girl has to live together with many many hot boys who all want her. 

Both involves a girl who gets drafted into living with a bunch of bratty guys where everyday puts her in a lot of pressure. Except, DL was more into horror while KnA is more into drama.  

The same plot where a girl gets recruited (against her free will) to deal with a bunch of misfit guys, except the girl in one anime serves as the guys' bloodbank, while the girl in the other anime serves as game for the guys.  

Both of these anime are ones of the best reverse harem you will ever see. In both anime there is 1 main female character which is almost trapped in this specific place and there are people that are not letting her escape. Amnesia is also an anime based around those facts however in her case there is no-one holding her back from escape because she is almost trapped between different world. this is similar to kamigami no asobi because both of the female characters can return home when they have done what they had to do. Amnesia is similar to diabolik lovers because both of the female characters are confused by their situation and are unable to control things that are happening around them. read more 

Diabolik Lovers is like the dark version of OHSHC . Yui = Haruhi Kanato = Hunny (Both a 'loli' type) Shuu = Takashi Reiji = Kyoya (Both cold hearted) Ayato = Tamaki (Both say they are princes) -Both reverse Harems -Both have good looking guys  

Ouran High School Host Club + Dark theme = Diabolik Lovers 

Both feature similar characters in terms of personality types like one character is a cutesy uwu type and another is the charming rich haughty type and it has a young girl in their servitude as well too.  

If you somehow managed to put up with one of the most pointless and infuriating heroines I recommend Diabolik Lovers! Yes, They could probably protect themselves without the assistance of hot men and yes, they make decisions that will cause you to bash your head against a wall, but the side characters will keep you clicking the ol' faithful 'next' button. Can you make it through this show without screaming at the heroine to run for her life? Probably not.  

Reverse harem, lot of bishounens, vampire theme and a heroine that may annoy you during the anime. Although the animes have a huge difference in the actual plot there are many similarities you may note. Also both are adapted from a visual novel/otome game 

If you like vampires, romance, and an interesting plot, you'll love Vanitas no Karte!  

They are both vampire based, have intimacy in it and etc. I'll just say that vanitas no karte has a much better storyline and indulges the viewers better than diabolik lovers. Although, vanitas no karte focuses more on the story line so it does have as many 'bite' scenes in it but the ones that are, are very romantic and sexy~ One more thing, it is not a harem or reverse harem like diabolik lovers but you'll definitely still like it~ 

Both are based around notable horror themed visual novel series and both share dark suspense and goth like elements (in danganronpa it would be Celestia) and both share very manipulative and sketchy characters that both characters get themselves involved in and both leads are pretty dense and too trusting for their own good and both overall can provide some entertainment if your in the mood for something creepy and spooky.

Both: - similar art styles - characters can be comparable ( Kyrie=Laito, Scarlet=Kanato, Axel=Reiji/Shuu, Caramia=Ayato, Caesar=Subaru ) - based on games - school settings ( sort of ) - music is decent - make you think "why am I watching this?" Unique to Diabolik Lovers: - stupid female protagonist - stupid vampires - characters are less likeable - longer series Unique to Ozmafia!!: - weak male protagonist - characters can be more likeable - shorter and easier to get through - light-hearted and comedic I guess this was sort of a mini review for these series  

-Heroine is an idiot. -Reverse harem. -There is no specific plot. -Handsome guys. -Heroine tells least of all characters.  

Both are dark themed vampire stories with some goth like stylizations to it and both feature seductive vampires and also a lot of moments that aren’t exactly for the faint of heart either and both feature human characters that get caught up in their antics as well too.
