My name is global dictator but my parents call me Erin. Although I have grown used to responding to either, as the former is strangely unpopular.

Of course, anime is a love of mine and has become a strong influence in many aspects of my life. BUT, my other hobbies do include:

Greetings, and welcome to the 2015 Winter / Spring Edition of the Namine's Café Newsletter

First, I would like to thank everyone who has joined the cafe, as well as those who actively support us. After being open for less than 18 months, we are closing in on 5000 members and 100 affiliations. And Namine's cafe just recently passed the incredible milestone of 8000 pages of chat comments (that's 160,000 comments), the first club in MAL to ever achieve this goal.

So please come back to the cafe to support the Tournament!!!

Now to the important stuff ^_^

We have an amazing amount of things happening at the cafe: First, we have three major competitions coming, including an Anime Couples Competition, a Voice Actor Competition, as well as the 2nd Annual Namine's Cafe Best Girl Competition. We'll also be having several other small competitions along the way, including an Anime Scavenger Hunt, a Best Scene Competition, a card making competition, plus many more. In addition to our competitions, there some big news at the cafe. First of all, Skype is back!!! While we still have a dedicated IRC chat, we've brought back Skype, and it's as popular as it ever was in the cafe. Also, member card editions are returning to the cafe shortly, with some of the best card makers in MAL signed up to help make wonderful cards, so stop by early and often to see what cards are available.

Namine's Cafe Newsletter & Competition Announcement

Greetings, Namine's Cafe is holding our first annual Moe Girl Competition

The competition takes place in two phases. The first phase is where everyone gets to nominate moe girls for the competition. The nomination thread will open on Sunday (3/10/2014), and will last for 10 days, Each cafe member can nominate up to 5 girls, with a point systems as follows:

#1 choice is worth 5 points
#2 choice is worth 4 points
#3 choice is worth 3 points
#4 choice is worth 2 points
#5 choice is worth 1 point

Unlike this, the Namine's Cafe Moe Competition will only be for Moe girls. Kawaii/ecchi girls will have their own competition later. To help ensure that only moe girls are nominated, we will have a panel of judges who will review the nominations, and if they unanimously determine that a nominee is not moe, then that specific nominee will be disqualified from the competition. To assist, here is a definition of moe, as stated by our judges:

Moe is an affection for cute girls doing cute things that excludes sexual desire. Moe will either minimizes the sexualization of their characters, or won't even reference sex at all. Lolicon depicts children as objects of sexual gratification, literally a romantic and sexual desire focused on a child. That being said, there are some lolicon characters that are also depicted as moe.

If a nominee is disqualified, she will be removed from the member's list. The rest of the member's list will still be available for the competition, but backfilling a disqualified nominee will not be allowed.

After the nominations are over, the points for each girl are tallied. The top 32 are put into a bracket style competition, the one with the most points will be ranked #1, and will face the one ranked #32 with the least points (no random competition selection).

A new competition will start every two days, and each vote is open for 4 days. This means there Will be a total of 31 competitions to name a champion. The winning character will get a special place on the layout for her, a card edition just for her, and have the fame and recognition of being Namine's Cafe's firsy moe champion (LOL). If we get enough support for the moe competition, we may follow it up with other competitions.

well, he was about to get bothered . but they stopped thinking about screwing him after they saw him drunk.(chapter5-volume1) however, Luke played a Gigolo game with him which stopped in the level of kissing.(I dont wanna spoil so just read it in the book. chapter3-volume3)

:D all in all, it seems they like sad endings! just imagine everything in the story would finish in the forth episode. (I suppose I'd commit a suicide if i did'nt know there is another ANK anime). Iliked it, though. walking in the rain, saying: kuso, kuso!
If you have read the ANK novels, do you have any idea why Luke looks such a good man in the anime? He wanted to screw Riki in the novels!(and the game they played in the novels, was one of the sexiest scenes. I can't imagine any reason why they didnt mention it in the anime. I mean even if they had planned to have that scene, they should have made an unfriendly atmosphere among Riki's friends. )

he truely is... some thing. Love his body and his face. his cold looking, clothing all in black, that collar of his jacket(during the flashback in ep4, when he is pick pocketing. it lookes like a leash), and I dunno if anyone has this feeling but sometimes, I really want to protect him. I mean he looks so...defenceless(when he comes to Guy's place drunk for example)
(in the original anime his expressions are a little girlish arent they?also the style wasnt my type. in the remake he looks just perfect)

its 4 A.M and i have been reading ai no kusabi's novels(i started tonight at 10). it's awsome. I am just forcing myself to go to sleep and give myself a break. (so bad at the same time, i have alot works to do. no time!)
