Good luck with your semester, I'm sure you're gonna manage it. That's the case of a lot of students who thinks the same as you but at the end, with hardwork and determination you can succeed.
Would you describe yourself as someone organized or not really when it comes to school? I think being organize help you to have a better time management and then to relax.
I don't have a girlfriend right now, I'm in the process of dating and yes It's quite enjoyable just to have a walk close to the river, especially when the weather is cold. It gives you that vibe of a romantic city.
A lot of people have bias image of Paris, it's expensive for nothing mainly tourist trap and some places are not recommended.

That sounds like such a lovely scene—reading a romance book in a Parisian garden! You definitely have to experience it one day. And yes, Paris has everything when it comes to perfumes, body care, and handbags, so whenever you make your trip, I’ll gladly give you recommendations!

Coffee lovers unite! What’s your go-to coffee order? And I’m really happy you liked the pictures! Paris has that effect—it just makes you want to drop everything and go.

Driving and exploring new restaurants sounds fun! Even if you don’t swim, the beach can still be such a relaxing place. Any favorite cafés or food spots where you are?

And I totally get you on the money part—traveling can be expensive, but hopefully, once you start working, you’ll be able to tick Europe off your list! I’d love to travel more too, maybe explore places with stunning landscapes or historical sites. Where in Europe would you want to go first?
I don't think it's a matter of money but rather of how you manage your budget. In France, we lack the financial education so that's why a lot of people are struggling with money. Have you had any financial education ?
Lately, I invest my money in an efficient way and even plan to buy an apartment in Paris too.

Your tuiton fees doesn't look that expensive, I'm rather surprise that it's affordable. I mean 7000, that's basically what I earn in a month but good to hear that you have some financial aid that helps.
I know some of my classmate, they had to take a loan just to afford a semester in the US. I'm not sure if it's worth for their education but rather a way to have fun.

Haha, maybe you are my ex-classmate then! That margarita and affogato combo sounds pretty fancy—sweet and strong at the same time. Do you usually go for sweet drinks, or was that just a random craving? I get what you mean about espresso helping, but sometimes a drink just hits differently.
Your essay writing method actually sounds really smart! Spreading it out over a week probably makes it way less stressful. I usually try to do things last minute, which… yeah, not the best idea. Do you do that for all your work, or just essays?

New York was amazing! Super busy, but there’s so much energy and things to do. Have you been before, or is it just on your list? If you visit, what’s the first thing you’d want to do there? And Hawaii sounds like a dream! What’s your favorite part about living there? The beaches, the food, or something else?

That’s cool that you like the cold! Snow can be both magical and super annoying, so I get what you mean. What was your first experience with it like? Would you ever want to live somewhere with snow, or just visit when you feel like it?

And yes, we’re definitely switching drivers! A road trip like that would be exhausting otherwise. You should totally try it with your friends—it’s a fun experience. Where would you want to go for your first road trip?

Japan and New York at the same time sounds like an awesome plan! Two totally different vibes, but both amazing places to visit. What’s drawing you to Japan? The culture, food, anime, or just the adventure? And that crazy project of yours sounds intriguing—I hope you go for it! What career are you thinking of pursuing alongside your current plans?

Your parents have a good idea about the house, though I get that an apartment might feel more independent and flexible. Renting it out could be a great investment, but it depends on what you want in the long run. Although I plan to do the same. Would you want to live in the same city long-term, or do you see yourself moving around a lot?

That’s great that you’ve been journaling and running! It’s always nice to have little things that keep you grounded. What book did you order? Sounds like a good one if it’s about healing and self-growth. Have you always been into journaling, or is it something you started recently?

Two bottles of soju? Respect. That sounds like a proper way to reflect on your resolutions! For me, I just took it easy, spent time with friends and family, and thought about my goals for the year. Do you usually set New Year’s resolutions, or was this year different?

And yeah, money can be a tricky topic. It’s easy to feel sensitive about it, especially with all the pressures around it. Do you have any big financial goals this year, or are you just trying to save in general?

Anime conventions do sound fun, but I’ve heard the same thing about some of them being smelly. Guess it depends on the event! Would you ever dress up for one? If so, which character would you go as?

Your take on self-worth is really inspiring. Realizing you’re enough on your own is such a powerful mindset. I love that you’ve been able to step away from other people’s perceptions and focus on yourself—that’s something a lot of people struggle with. What helped you the most in getting to that mindset? Was it mainly journaling, or something else?

And Happy (belated) New Year to you too! No worries at all. For resolutions, I’d say similar to yours—staying active, eating better, and maybe traveling more too. One of my goal is to run a marathon and visit all the museum in Paris ( when it's free for me right now) If you could pick one place to travel to this year, where would it be? Wishing you all the best this year as well! You got this.

AHH I see , I was also not going to but started solo leveling S2
That's probably all I am gonna watch
-Sonal- Jan 24, 3:03 AM
Yes, agreed. I'm guessing it's part of some old and obnoxious tradition of mentally torturing your students to see which ones pass your test, and which ones don't.

Haha. Did you find an internship/job yet? How much time have you given yourself for that, before you decide to do something else?
-Amata- Jan 23, 1:02 PM
That's not really my problem anymore. Rip for his son tho if he ever gets one ^^"

Wanna switch places? I had a super awkward date yesterday with a dude I saw for the second time in my life. Felt like running away when he has gone to the bathroom xD
There is also this one dude at my workplace who seemed interested in me until he suddenly started acting like I don't exist XD
Not sure what's his deal but it was (confusing at first) fun to just annoy him by standing close to him and observing as he tries to act like I'm not there xD

not sure if I could cook at a dorm kitchen. I really hate when people watch me as I cook ^^"

Hm... I think I get you. I'm not lactose intolerant but if I drink to much coffee with milk in a short spawn of few days I feel sick as well. There was a time I had to switch to plant milk for some time. I'm back to normal tho? Idk what was the case. It just happens sometimes.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is very good, although this last season had many episodes of assemblies and meetings with Rimuru hahaha, there are many very good isekais I hope you can have time to see some

<3

How was your start of the year? The return after the holidays?
-Amata- Jan 2, 11:26 AM
Yeah, just with a much bigger receding hair line XD XD XD
If he already has such a receding hairline before hitting 30... Oof. He's gonna be bald by 40 lol

Also, relationships are overrated these days ;D

Sounds like someone broke your heart gurl </3

Hahaha, I'm sure you're being overdramatic xD
You're not a Sim to burn your kitchen making pasta hahah

Oh, no. Don't tell me you're lactose intolerant? :'D

Hello !

I guess the end of the year has been really tough for you especially with your paper assignement. Have you been able to relax and enjoy your vacation a little bit?
It's really important to take a break from school before starting your new semester.
As a parisian, I would say that it's a beautiful and romantic cities especially at night. There is not a day I don't see lovers kissing next to the river or holding hands.
Are you a romantic person ? If so, Paris is definitely a city you should visit with your boyfriend. What lovers usually do is locking their pad on the bridge of love in Paris.

About activities, there is a lot of stuff to do like going to the museum, sports or monuments. But my guilty pleasure is to chill in the beautiful garden of Paris, it's so refreshing when you read a book or study there.
But on the other hand, shopping or doing activities are quite expensive there. I'm wondering, do you like to shop for perfume, jewerly, clothes or handbags ? If so, I know some places you would spend all your money haha.
Anyways, if you have the opportunity to visit Paris, I can invite you for a coffee , tea or even to the pub, I can give you some advice for a place to visit according to your preferences.
Here some pictures I took from Paris during last summer :

And how about you, what kind of activities you like to do in Hawaii ?

Nice that you have plans to visit Las Vegas, I always though that USA is such an amazing and immense country. It has basically the same size as europe and for you vising an other state is like for us european visiting an other european country.
Btw do you love to travel ?

From an european point of view, we all think that american school is so fucking expensive and going into a debt sucks. With all the money you spent for the years of studies, you can basically used it to buy a house in France.
But yeah the lifestyle, the way of living is quite different. So I think I can consider myself lucky because school here is free ( at least public school), and even if you go into a private school the fees are fives times less expensive than the one you have in the US.
Damn drinking shot of expreso just to write your essay must be draining mentally for you, at least you didn't drink alcohol because I used to remember one of my ex classmate doing it for his work project.
Did you stay awake late in the night just to finish them?

Yes I have visited America a lot of times, cities like Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Washington, Seattle and Los Angeles.
There is a lot of American cities I would love to visit and one of them are definitely Hawaii and Salt Lake City.
In fact, I'm kind of attracted by Salt Lake City and even though about working there. Maybe not now, but in the future, you never know what might happens.
The proximity to the Great Outdoors, nestled between the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountain Range, SLC is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts like me. It offers easy access to hiking, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and water activities.
Huh, that's weird you love New york for the cold but hate it sometimes ? Why ??

Me and my friends we have a project which is to drive from the east to the west coast of the US during one month. I think it can be an amazing experience to have by visiting a lot of state in a short amount of time.
What is one of your crazy project you have in life?

Well about building my own family, I also want to wait in my thirties, I want to enjoy my twenties as much as I can and I would like to save enough money to take care of my children now too. Funny fact, I have project in buying an apartment in Paris and a house in a sub-division of Paris for my real estate assets.

My main activities for now is just studying a little bit but just for my general knowledge, read light novel and do sports. I do think it's important to be in good shape.

That's odd because all the girl I know they says that they like wine but they are not an alcoholic. Are you sure about that ? haha I'm sure you drunk a lot of wine during new year.
Btw how did you celebrate new year?

I know money is really important but it's not good to overthinking about it especially for your mental health.

In France, we have a lot of anime convention in order to improve the hype for a particular series.

Cool that you do a lot of journaling, personally I'm more into meditation to relieve my stress.
Hard question but then, what is your self-worth as a person ? I think It's important to be confident in yourself as most-people they often speak of themselves in a bad way, which is not good mentally.

And Happy New Year 2025!

As we step into this bright and promising new year, may each day bring you endless opportunities, boundless joy, and moments that leave you truly inspired.
May success, good health, and happiness accompany you in every step you take.

Have you set any New Year resolutions for 2025? Whether big or small, a fresh start is always a chance to grow, learn, and thrive.

Wishing you a magical, prosperous, and inspiring 2025!
