Wassup, it's me, Sal. I've been a fan of anime since I first laid eyes on Ponyo as a kid. I didn't really have access to readily available anime growing up, so most of what I watched was whatever was airing on 4Kids or Nicktoons. So while I was aware of a lot of it growing up, I never got more than a few episodes into anything.

However, that's changed nowadays and I'm trying to reclaim all the stuff I missed growing up, so bit by bit I'll be watching and reading all sorts of things of all genres (although my manga tastes are heavily skewed towards yuri).

I don't particularly rate things based on objectivity, although that sometimes comes into play if I'm unsure about my feelings about something. Most of the time though, I rate it based on enjoyment and emotions. Did it make me laugh? Was the story fun? Did I actually cry? Is it an absolute train wreck that I can unironically enjoy as a piece of flaming garbage? It's not the best system, but it can more or less give someone an idea of what I enjoy to consume.

Talking about media is fun, so expect to see my random opinions crop up occasionally, and have yourself a good day.
