After catching up to the latest chapter, I can vouch this manga is a balance between heart warming and fan service.
Kanan-sama features a new twist on the classic trope of romance between demons and humans.
She is so used to "feeding" on humans she has no experience in the natural love aspect.
This manga is somehow managing to work in between pure innocent love and fan service?
Sometimes the fanservice and logic could be a bit..excessive, but this can be forgiven as every single manga chapter contains high quality art.

I would even say the quality here is better than the majority of other titles around the manga world.
This ... is an entertaining read, why not give it a try?

Short review:
Absurd/comical plot. Borderline pornographic. Main characters are kinda likeable. Reaction shots are excellent.

Read if: you are a hetero male who uses bizarre methods for studying Japanese, or who feels drawn to crazy facial expressions on weirdo characters.
Avoid if: you have any self-respect, value the purity of your eyes, or require anything other than sexually-provocative drawings to keep you going in life.

Longer review:
The premise is absurd: 1000-year-old virgin demon girl with big boobs, who can't admit her romantic ignorance, goes to highschool in an impossibly short skirt (if you have to ask, you're in the wrong place). She gets attached to a ... boy who is (generally) single-minded in his devotion to her, and the comedy comes from the strange progression of their relationship, with a bunch of characters who are borderline insane but mostly supportive. You've seen it before.

The art is solid; in particular, the reaction shots are cleanly drawn, beautifully expressive, and widely varied. One thing that feels unique is that the boyfriend is... kinda cool. He rolls with everything, is honest and open with his perversions, and is fundamentally devoted to his lady. Their relationship actually progresses and everyone seems to be mostly enjoying themselves.

I follow this manga because, as a student of Japanese, I can use sketchy websites (*cough*klto9*cough*) to follow both the original and translated manga for reading practice bolstered by T&A. There's a lot of interesting wordplay (even the title); if you're me, it's good material.

Spoiler free review, because series needs a plot, to be potentially spoiled.

Another high school isekai/harem series where teen-looking girls have jumbo tits, air in their brains and plot is held by overused jokes, tropes and fanservice. And it's not fun at all. It's not self-aware comedy, it's generic, safe, predictable, no story, no substance, no characters' growth, no plot, series. Watching rocks becoming sand in the spar of 50mil years in slow motion would be slightly more interesting than going trough this series again.

In general the best things about this series is art, which is very eh... boring. Looks like another Ichigo100% copy, but now ... with some demon horns or something. Very forgettable. It's not even close to things like Vampire+Rosiario where was at least some sort of settings and story happening.

The main plot is a Satan's (Beelzebub) daughter is living among mortals as a teen high schooler for some reason, totally blending in for another reason, and she finds a perfect soul, a guy with zero characteristics besides being total fetish dog/bottom to fit some boring jokes. Why does it matter? Demons feast on souls, but that's just in 3 chapters and then it is never used again because fanservice doesn't need plot.

Later in the comic, there are more female characters introduced. Male kid is being useless plot hole filler and most dialogues are internal ramblings of main 1000 years old teen sometimes being teased by her servant (succubus) or sister, or whatever author feels like would work at the moment.

You got tired and overused scenarios, beach, girl fondling other girl, chest size jokes and so on.

At some point chapters are 4-8 pages long. Just some tits, lol she's embarrassed, omg dude doesn't care he's so lovely!!! -this recurs on and on, for like 10 chapters. so roughly 60 pages. There are shonen manga chapters being longer than that. Just proves the "quality" author delivers. No quality that is, but there are some cleavages and butts in your face.

Character design is so bland, most times it's hard to tell them apart if not for hair, because that's the most distinctive characteristics, and all having almost the same hair style doesn't help that much either.

Skimmed trough later chapters, and predictably, whole demon and soul eating is basically non existent, but there are more tit jokes. Haha so funny, tits, ass, tits, ass - comedy people, we're dealing with some serious comedy gold here!

If you are horny teenager you'll like it, if you are normal, you will not like it because it is bad, poorly written, very generic and forgettable series.
