Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan

Although Kenzaburou Tondabayashi is a 52-year-old bureaucrat, he is well versed in reincarnation stories where a protagonist suddenly awakens in a fantasy world. After being hit by a truck, Kenzaburou lands in that exact situation. However, what baffles him is the fact he wound up in the world of an otome game—as the young villainess and the daughter of a duke, Grace Auvergne.

Fortunately for Kenzaburou, he is somewhat familiar with his new world, as it is based on the game called Magical Academy: Love & Beast. He was a proud father in his previous life, and he often listened to his daughter rave about the game's setting and characters. Armed with background knowledge and a lifetime's worth of dad skills, Kenzaburou strives to make the most of his new life, though his kind-hearted nature makes it difficult to fully embrace the role of a villainess.

Preliminary (3/12 eps)

This anime is stupid.

But that's what makes it so lovable. For shows that we have plotlines that have to either make sense, or nail it down to a tee, so it doesn't become a mess. Here we have a show that can follow on both merits. Purely just cause wile the plot is easy to follow, at the same time, it's silly nature can really bring out the best regarding it. Not only making it funny, or amusing, but for the record, god damn wholesome to boot.

Story and characters: 7
Giving this a 7, as while I do enjoy the show, you can't argue that the ... only well meaningful character is of course going to be our MC. Not that makes other characters bad, but more that they'll get the spotlight. They'll get the attention above all else. As if you could throw any generic type of prince or handsome guy character, and it still would've been fine. Like hell, one's name is 'Ann Doll' almost sounding like 'Am a Doll' haha. Clearly showing who is the vocal point of the series.

But to go onto our MC, honestly, you've seen so many of these shows, to make a judgement, and I swear each version that gets adapted, brings out a whole different version, which may keep it fresh and alive. This show could've been very weird, more then it actually is, but thanks to our MC, is so god damn wholesome, it's unreal. Along with the comedic element of 'Villainess' really puts a nice spin and touch on the whole product as a whole. If there is one thing you'll watch this for, is just the silly, goofy, wholesome MC, and how much of a 'villain' they truly will be.

Art and sound: 8
The way everything comes together so nicely in parts. To really capture not only the scene, but how the characters emote and react to boot. Along how each scene transitions to each other, really making it out for a solid effort all round. As if those who brought this show to life, wanted to do so by adding a touch of sparkle, and sweetness. Which is nice to see. Along with a stellar job with the VAs, which make a wonderful product to consume and enjoy.

This show is a real good time of a watch. I'd advise watching it. It's certainly not anime of the season, but it's damn sure fun to enjoy and watch.

Girl getting reincarnated as a villainess - boring.
52 year old man getting reincarnated as a villainess - comedy gold.

Despite Grace Auvergne, daughter of Duke Auvergne, being the villainess of this otome game and having the reputation for being one of the strictest girls around. The reincarnated 52 year old Kenzaburou Tondabayashi cant help his true nature as a parent. So always speaks from the point of view of a father.

And although you'd think a middle aged man would be completely lost in such a scenario he isnt. Funny thing is not only was Kenzaburou's daughter an otaku but despite his age he himself is knowledgeable ... about otaku stuff too. So by combining that knowledge and his skills as a professional civil servant he can conquer this otaku game and influence everyone inside it for the better.

He takes the game's heroine Anna Doll under his wing and shows her the way of graceful nobility.
But with this being an otome game will this lead the heroine to actually fall in love with the villainess instead? Will the villainess actually become the heroine?

This might be the best "villainess reincarnation" anime ever.
Not only is in incredibly funny. But endearing as well.

so far i recommend it but not too much. the comedy is very elegant, and the story is a bit unsatisfying for an isekai anime that people say is good. i thought the story of the MC would become overpowered and surprise everyone with his power, but it turns out his ability is only limited to how to socialize, this is a bit disappointing. the character design of the MC is also not sweet, and seems less feminine ... especially when the MC gets the power of a dragon, his attacks are ordinary, i thought his attacks would be so great that they would destroy ... the school building behind him. for the romantic story, there is none ... i am not impressed with the romantic scenes or love stories in this anime. so far the only thing that can entertain me is the comedy about misunderstandings. from me, i give a score of 6 for now, because i am not satisfied with the story of this anime, plus the story of his family in the real world is a bit strange in my opinion, it makes the story bad, because it is not a pure isekai anime. i always skip scenes or scenes that show his old family in the real world. i don't know what the story of this anime will be like in the future, but i'm sure it won't be better.
