I feel kind of disappointed by this. I did actually like this at the start with her being by herself. But not so much afterwards.

The start is awfully paced with things going by way to fast and this pacing issue lasts throughout the story. We will get scenes that last too long or scenes that go by to fast.

There's also the fact that i didn't realize that this is mostly a story for girls it seems with everybody is a guy in this except one or two girls. It's kind of like those bad stories where the guy MC will get a ton ... of girls surrounding him for no real reason. Except instead of the MC being a guy with tons of girls it's a Girl surrounded by a bunch of guys.

Then the biggest issue is that it's just so boring. I forced myself to get caught up to chapter 16.

I think i may have liked this a lot more if the story focused more on the MC being by herself while adventuring. She can come across random people that will stay around for a couple chapters before she leaves again. I think it would be even better if she has a female companion or two.

Overall i find this to just be Eh. Might have something to do with this seeming to be geared more towards women then men though.

The main issue with this story is its horrendous pacing, leading to trash quality of a fairly decent-enough story for the average Light Novel adaption. I'm not interested in reading the source material, so this is strictly my opinion on the comic adaption.

For the most part, Misuzu-turned-Reene (silent-e) is just some 22-year-old college nerd obsessed with animu and mangos and RPGs. Due to another world's demands, she got dragged into the world of Gaia with a newfound ability of magic. Her magic allows her to unknowingly pose as a "Child of Gaia" and thus receive tremendous political protection, but in reality, she's ... an Other Worlder. This means she's basically a Child of Gaia + cheats, ie overpowered as heck.

And only because Reene wants to go home, she learns more about the world and its laws, allows herself to be a political pawn, and constantly makes good connections with next-to-no effort on her part. But, more importantly, she's a light novel MC, and so it gets kinda dull how capable she is from the get-go. The beginning chapters were very painful to endure due to that.

Now, the rest of the story would simply be an intense summation of events, and that's pointless. In a mere 49 chapters, they crammed so much into trash transitions and pacing that the normal reader would get confused. Just as it gets good, everything's done and over with. Just as the pace seems to have found itself, it changes once again to where it seems a few chapters were skipped.

If pacing is high in your requirements for a good read, then be wary. However, this is a completed story that goes exactly how you expect it to, so there's really not much to endure beyond that. Especially if you can handle light novel adaptions.

Personally, the failure for the artist to portray the transitions is a huge concern that goes beyond the writing. I instantly knock-off a point whenever age is poorly presented; while this world has mana which prolongs one's youth, those who age more akin to Earthlings should look their age a lot more. On the other hand, there's actually a bit of signs that one looks older by adding the lines to the face's bridge, so I only knock half a point for this art style.

But there's very little moments where the art quality falters beyond these two things, so it's not that off-putting. Would've preferred Renee looking a tad more her age (22) rather than if she were only 17, but that's just personal preference.

Everyone stays in their respective roles. There's literally zero character development beyond folk befriending Renee or getting off'd in some regard. Kinda pathetic, but again, this is kinda expected given its source material.

I've always been a fan of isekai and similar genres long before light novels were even a thing, so I'm a sucker to try them out when I come across them. Moreso if they're actually completed works to where I'm not left hanging on a weekly or monthly webtoon's whims.

Also, there were good moments in this series. One thing I wanted ends up happening, and most importantly, Renee didn't make a stupid final decision literally anywhere during the series. Sure it was almost always rushed because of this trash pacing, and at times it was instead a delayed "duh" moment 'cause of whatever, but compared to several other isekai/light novel MCs... she's definitely a lot more realistic.

Since this manga has no reviews, I'll leave some preliminary words here. Take note, though, that as I write this I've only read the first 13 chapters, so there wasn't even time for the plot to really kick in.

This manga seems a bit silly when you read the summary, a portal fantasy featuring a video game setting. I dreaded it might be some fanservice-filled comedy, with no real story beyond the game parody, so I decided to try reading it if only to get it out of my PTR list. I was pleasently surprised to find out that not only this isn't a parody, but ... that this is actually a good manga. Some reasons to read it:

* The heroine is smart and resourceful, but that doesn't stops her from commiting blunders and just getting things wrong, since she's in a completely new world. Also, she's a mage. I like mages.
* The supporting characters seem well rounded. There hasn't been enough time to explore those characters, but they all seem to have their own agenda.
* The world, videogamey as it is, is treated as a real world by the protagonist; its people are considered real people.
* While the "need to go home" plot is a portal fantasy classic, the fact that the protagonist could, maybe, with luck, find her way back herself through _her own research_ is marvelous.
* The magical tech is very interesting.
* There are bishies. Always a plus.

I'm not sure this review can convince anyone, but one weird review is better than none, right? Give Reene a chance!

I've been reading so many isekai and reincarnation manga lately lol, but I really enjoyed this manga ^^

Story (8/10): Pretty ordinary honestly. It's about a girl who gets transported to another world and turns out to be overpowered. If it was just about her life adjusting to the world, I probably would not have enjoyed it as much. However, there were several different plot twists along the way that I really, thoroughly enjoyed. And this manga really shows that being transported to another world is not just all fun and games; with power comes responsibility. Also, although there's no romance tag, there is a little ... bit of romance involved, which I loved. :3

Art (9/10): Beautiful. The art was great. Nothing was out of proportion, eyes were drawn great, smiles were cute and heavenly when they had to be. The only thing I have to say against the art were the character designs. They were a bit too generic. All the knights were basically drawn the exact same besides the main few and so the main character would call them different names but I still couldn't tell who was who. But there were bishies everywhere, which was great x3

Character (6/10): Now this was probably where this manga lacked the most in. Every character had such an ordinary personality. There wasn't much character development involved. Most of the characters had a like-able personality, and all the villains were those you didn't like. There weren't any characters that you couldn't help loving even though they were hated. But I'm used to these kinds of characters so it didn't stop my enjoyment of this manga lol.

Even though this manga was pretty ordinary and didn't stand out much from those similar to it, all the twists and turns of this which combined like 5 different manga I knew into one was great. But I understand that this manga is not for everyone. If you really notice and pay attention to character development and personalities, then I'd skip this one. But if you're a sucker for op people and op romance, then go for this manga! Overall, I enjoyed this manga a lot and would recommend it to others.

I must say, it is a great read. Although the MC (main character) may not be the strongest, she has her own unique charisma which makes her quite interesting.
I really like the way the demon king meets with her, but only in her dreams, which is quite adorable. In this series, the aging process is determined by how much magical power the people possess. So, if you come across a 28-year-old good-looking boy with a 40-year-old lady being nice to her, the lady is probably the child of the good-looking guy. Just think about elves with a human-born baby. Additionally, the scenery depicted in ... the manga is really beautiful. Although the concept of the overall story may not be the most original, the character development is very unique and definitely worth seeing. I am not usually a fan of reverse harem, but the character development is very clear and easy to understand.

I really enjoyed the start! I liked that the main character is older (not a teenager), and her introduction to the other world was a little more unique as well.
I liked her powers as well, with the video game like system. This has been done before, but I feel like I've seen it more from male main characters than female, so that was a little refreshing.
The lead herself is fairly likable, but frankly doesn't have that much of a personality or development over time. There are some likable side characters, but they (mostly) don't have development either. (I think one of the side characters ... grows a bit).
The plot was alright, but I didn't love the direction the final arc took.
The art was nice, nothing special, but definitely nice to look at.
I think I would do a reread at some point so I can make a more thorough review.
