It's good so far! Unfortunately only half the chapters are scanlated, so I don't know enough to make a judgement on the story as a whole. However, so far, the art is pretty good (the food looks yummy), and the plot and the characters are interesting.
The premise isn't that unique, but there are some interesting details, such as the main character's parents revealing something about their family history, and (most recently) the love interest's backstory with his grandmother.
If you like isekai stories, or cooking/food stories, you might like this one!
(I will update this review if more chapters come out and I read them!)

I really enjoyed the start! I liked that the main character is older (not a teenager), and her introduction to the other world was a little more unique as well.
I liked her powers as well, with the video game like system. This has been done before, but I feel like I've seen it more from male main characters than female, so that was a little refreshing.
The lead herself is fairly likable, but frankly doesn't have that much of a personality or development over time. There are some likable side characters, but they (mostly) don't have development either. (I think one of the side characters
...
grows a bit).
The plot was alright, but I didn't love the direction the final arc took.
The art was nice, nothing special, but definitely nice to look at.
I think I would do a reread at some point so I can make a more thorough review.

This manga focuses on the protagonist Lily a Japanese girl who is reincarnated in a fantasy kingdom, where she becomes the royal maid, adept at information gathering, problem solving, and caring for others. The story starts when she is recruited to be the mother of the royal magician's new powerful ward.
This is an ongoing manga, so my opinion might change. Also, I am a big fan of isekai, so that definitely skews my point of view. That said, I am finding this very enjoyable to read so far. The art is average, and maybe a little old fashioned even, but nothing horrible. The story
...
isn't airtight, there are some plot holes and a lot of suspension of disbelief, but considering the genre and the fact that it is incomplete, I think that's fine. I do enjoy the world building, the system of magic, and the characters. The magic system is an elemental system, with spirits possessing elemental powers and sharing them with magicians in the form of magical contracts. The character aren't super complex, but they are likeable and fun to root for. The little girl, Jill, is very cute. Lily could use a little more depth, being the almost too perfect type of protagonist, but that is fun to indulge in sometimes, and could improve in the future.
Personally, I like the kind of 'love will save the day' plot, especially when other kinds of love besides romantic are acknowledged, in this case, there is a big focus on familial love, even if the characters aren't blood related. One thing I don't love is the protagonist's relationship with her past love interest, although that might be a translation issue, I can't tell.

I do like bread, and each episode is only five minutes, so I thought, what the heck.
Based off of a 4-koma manga, the five minute episode template actually works pretty well for this. That said, one of the enjoyable things about slice-of-life is watching things unfold in a slow lazy pace.
The 'plot' of this anime is a bunch of high school girls meeting up together to share their mutual love of bread. Yep. Bread.
The images of bread at the end of the episode are probably the best part. The art isn't spectacular, but it does make you hungry.
The character design is... okay.
...
The cast reminds me a bit of the K-ON! girls, but nowhere near endearing. The Yui-lite main character is air-headed and kind. She rides a fine line between annoying and 'eh.' There is also some Yuri fantasizing. The lolita character is probably my favorite, mainly because she carries a baguette around in her backpack at all times.
At the end of the day, I think I smiled after I watched it.

I like it.
Sometimes I just need something light-hearted and this fit the bill.
That said, if you are looking for something with a meaty storyline, realistic characters, astounding art and music... then this is not your show.
One thing to take into account, is that each episode is around five minutes long. That doesn't leave much time for plot or character development.
That said, the general storyline is: the main character has just gotten accepted to a sweet making academy. At this prestigious school, there are several handsome young men teachers. The strict principal does her best to make sure none of the students and teachers get
...
into an inappropriate relationship...
The characters are mainly flat archetypes--the helpful best friend, the quiet elegant traditional Japanese sweet maker. There were some hints of further development, mentions of the characters families, or what they wanted to do in the future, but again, this was stifled by the time restraint. The main character is the typical 'I will try hard to reach my dream' sort of girl. Nothing about her stood out in particular, but nothing about her annoyed me in particular either.
I did find the character designs cute. Again, the art is not realistic or blow-me-away amazing. However it is sparkly and appealing to look at.
Overall, if you like dessert and (depending on your taste) pretty boys, then give this show a watch.

This is a great manga, because of it's balance between typical shoujo elements (romance, chibi moments...) and mystery.
The manga has a episodic format, so if you prefer one smooth story line than this might not be for you. However, each of the story arcs, which is usually covered by several chapters, is very well put together and thought out. The mystery element is strong, where as the horror element is not. Horror can easily make me squeamish, but there's nothing bone chilling in here. There is some blood and random popping up of ghosts (but that is to be expected from the title I think).
...
Each arc is basically a team of different kinds of 'ghost hunters' trying to solve some sort of ghost related problem and figure out why weird events are taking place.
The art isn't amazing, but it is somewhat likable, and does not in anyway hinder the story. (Expect large shoujo eyes and pretty looking characters).
The characters are very likable, though most of them do lack some depth. Details about these characters seem to be drawn rather reluctantly from the author, but that could just be because it is a work in progress, or because it is in the mystery genre...The protagonists are a high school girl (whose point of view we see the story from), and a young paranormal researcher who has a lot of fancy equipment, his own research center and is very self-centered. Other characters include and an atypical monk and a miko, a young priest, a spiritual medium, and a mysterious assistant.

Shizuku Tsukishima is an extremely relatable character. She really enjoys reading fantasy books, and hanging out with her friends, but she isn't sure what she wants out of life in general. Throughout the movie she discovers many forms of inspiration that make her want to work hard to complete something.
The art, as usual for Studio Ghibli films, is excellent, really highlighting parts of life that can be beautiful and magical, without being completely fantastical.
This movie is filled with some very comforting things: libraries, cats, violins and young romance, but it also manages to take it's simplicity and push you towards fulfilling your dreams, whatever
...
they might be.

So this is one of my favorite mangas of all time...
It was one of the first that I was motivated to keep reading steadily, and I got very excited every time I heard a saw that a new chapter had been translated.
The general story has a very typical shoujo reverse harem feel to it. The protagonist, Haruhi's mother passed away some years ago and she's having trouble fitting in to her new school which is made up of very elite rich kids. When she's looking for a quiet place to study she suddenly runs into the Ouran High School Host Club and finds herself joining.
...
Of course, almost everyone thinks she's a guy...
The art is quite cute, and for fans of the anime there are tons of comedic moments that were passed over, also the manga continues way past the ending of the anime as well.
In my opinion this manga is funny, the character development actually progresses. Though the romance aspects are a bit slow for anyone who prefers otherwise...

This manga is mainly set after the end of the world. There has been a great disaster which has wiped the majority of people out. Luckily, the government was able to predict this outcome. So they decided to use cryogenics to put groups of people into hibernation, and set them to thaw out when the planet is habitable again. The story focuses on the five groups named after the seasons (two for Summer, A and B) and what happens when they wake up. The story focuses on the characters' reactions to their new world, their relationships with each other, and above all, their struggle to
...
survive.
Story: 9
The story is very intense, with lots of focus on action/adventure, and psychological questions. It's very absorbing, and makes crave the next chapter right away. The main idea is that these people are trying to stay alive, so the story is mostly character driven. The narrative also switches back and forth between the events surrounding two of the characters, Hana and Arashi. Though romance is not the main element of the story there is one major character with a heart aching story, and other characters who are growing closer. There is also mystery, as the character try to figure out what has happened to the world they knew, and why they specifically were chosen to be kept alive.
Art: 9
The art is great, but probably not for everyone. The author's style of drawing is light, with many soft and delicate lines. Many characters have huge sparkly eyes, as to be expected from shoujo. Still, all the characters are individualized with their own unique looks. The scenery can be beautiful, or eerie depending on where the characters travel.
Character: 9
I originally had an 8 for characters, but as I read further, I definitely got a firmer sense of who everybody was, so the rating went up. The characters are all very engaging, though not necessary all likable. Each character has strengths, weakness, points of sympathy, and annoying aspects to them. Very full characters is something that makes the story even more likable in my open. There is also a far amount of character development, with certain character growing stronger, and others beginning to doubt themselves. I look forward to learning more about each and every one of them.
Enjoyment: 9
The story has a sense of cleverness, but it's also a page turner. The fact that a story can make you feel thoughtful, while also being entertaining makes it more enjoyable in my opinion.
Overall: 9
Honestly, I would probably give this story a ten...if it were completed already. Later something might happen in the story that will drag my opinion of it down, but as it stands I really love it.

Momoe and her father loved going out to eat together. Unfortunately, after he dies, Momoe finds out her father spent all of their considerable fortune on buying food.
Then Momoe stumbles across a little restaurant where the food reminds her of the comforting taste from her childhood. She is inspired to be a chef--figuring she can kill two birds with one stone. She can earn money to support herself and her mother, while at the same time fulfilling her dream.
Unfortunately Momoe sucks at cooking. Besides which, the cooks she wants to hire her is grumpy and anti-social. Her only talents seems to be her hardworking,
...
very giving up attitude and her excellent sense of taste. Will those by enough to help her reach her dreams? Also, why is the grumpy cook suddenly of attractive?
Story: 9
The story is great. It starts of a little typical, what with the death of a parent, and a rich girl suddenly have to make her way in the world. However, the story stills draws you in, and makes you want to know what happens next. The romance element also seems to be generic, as Momoe meets a guy that has a connection to her dreams and childhood, and shortly falls in love with him. However, it diverges from the beaten path a bit with Oda already having a girlfriend, whom he actually likes quite a lot. Momoe does mope about this a bit, but after a while she doesn't have much time to worry about romance as she's trying her hardest to become a respected chef! Momoe has to deal with her lack of experience and being a 'woman in a male dominated business,' which is difficult but the ways she deals with it is enjoyable to read. The enjoyment of food, and the comfort well cooked food can give people is a major point of the story. The plot in general focuses on Momoe reaching for her dream, and also struggling with inventing a new sense of self.
Art: 9
The art is enjoyable with well drawn characters, and yummy looking food. The characters expressions are interesting and amusing. For some reason the drawings flow very well in an easy to read fashion.
Character: 9
Momoe's personality through her trial and tribulations make it very easy to root for her, even though she comes off as spoiled and a little air-headed to begin with. As the story goes on, her character begins to develop, and she becomes a stronger and more mature person.
Oda, the cook, comes off as a basic, tough on the outside, softy on the inside sort of person, but he develops quite a lot as well. As to be expected from this sort of romance, he becomes softer and more sociable because of Momoe's influence. However, he is also inspired and motivated by his girlfriend, who is a powerful and interesting character in her own right.
Other characters include a hesitant restaurant owner, a renowned chef who is also playboy, and an old woman who takes aspiring chefs under her wing. The characters all have intriguing back stories and a nice amount of development.
Enjoyment: 9
I definitely loved this manga. The message of 'follow your dreams' and the difficulties and rewards that come along with that, I think can be relatable for many people.
Overall: 9
The only complaint I would have was that the ending was a bit abrupt. I got to the last page and I felt like I had missed something. A more fleshed out ending would have been better, but in general the manga was very enjoyable.
