Strobe edge and Ao Haru Ride are manga from the similar author, io-sensei. Both story is about the struggles of a teenager falling in love with the popular guy in school. Both mangas have characters with unique and strong personalities which are lovable to love and to hate. The storyline might sounds cliche but io-sensei is really the master in depicting these type of stories. The sweet moments make you happy, the sad moments make you cry. It is really amazing how the characters grows in both manga. Definitely worth reading.

I get a familiar feel when reading either Strobe Edge or Orange. Both shoujo series explores human emotions with the main characters. They are also known for well-rounded romance that develops between the main male and female protagonists. As time goes on, the connection they build explores their true characteristics. Drama is distinctive that holds strong emotional values as well in their story. Orange is also noticeable for its additional supernatural content while Strobe Edge's story gets more complicated with romance angles.

In both Manga the main character is in love with a boy who is very kind to her, but things might not be as great as they seem. Cute stories with cute characters.

Both characters are really cute and innocent and they both also fall in love with the popular guy at school.
reportRecommended by Sapphirebreeze
Same feeling, pure love, and protagonists who won't stop loving the same guy, however difficult it may be. Love triangles in both, although they're very refreshing. Two mangas that are really worth reading.
reportRecommended by manami-chin
In both the main girl is in love with a guy that has already a girlfriend, than later she ends up going out with a "playboy" who turns out to be really gentle. Also, In Heroine Shikkaku, the 3 main characters of Strobe Edge appear on the crowd of a Basketball game.
reportRecommended by Orulyon
The two have a similar feeling. A girl who has yet to experience her first love finds herself taking interest in a guy, only to discover that he already has a girlfriend. There is also nice development of the side characters as they also learn more about love.
reportRecommended by sweetfantasy
Somehow, the story has an identical feel to it. Even though they're both seemingly "cliché" (And I hate cliché) once you start reading it you can't stop. It's actually really interesting. The main characters are superb in both stories and the graphics are also both really good.

has a similar feel, love triangles, lovable characters etc etc

The feel of the stories and the art are pretty similar. both are very enjoyable
reportRecommended by beckaleck
Both gives off the feeling of a love triangle between a cute, bubbly girl, a cool, collected guy and a 'player' dude. Parfait Tic is much longer than Strobe Edge but I believe that they are both enjoyable to read!

I love this 2 mangas! girl falling in love with a friend and not being loved back and the tables turn... I think u will like this manga i promise! i recommend Redding Lovely Everywhere first because is shorter and funny, but i love them both.
reportRecommended by evelyndepaula
They both deal with love trianges and unrequited love. Both main characters develop really good friendships with the object of their affection but they keep their feelings hidden because they both have girlfriends.
reportRecommended by Taylorgg12
Both titles have this innocent and intense love with many involved feelings. They have some circumstances that makes their love forbidden, so the main characters hold all their feelings just to be with the person they like. Dengeki Daisy and Strobe Edge can convey this innocent and intense feelings to the reader making you feel your heart thump or a tingling in your hands.... So...if you like all this...read both. :D
reportRecommended by Sameien
Both heroines are cute and optimistic and have a similar name (Nina/Ninako). In both she is in love with a boy but when she is about to confess her feelings he tells her he already has a girlfriend. Later she ends up going out with the "underdog" who really likes her and accepts to be with her in an unrequited love. Both manga are filled with angst and have a love polygon.

Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji and Strobe Edge follows some classic shoujo tropes with romance and love triangles. The main female protagonist in both series lacks experiences in love and tries to build a relationship with another boy in the story. As time progresses, we see how much they connect both on a more personal level. Both series also has a main male protagonist with an outer cool image that other people seems to idolize.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both manga has story about the girl, who fall in love with the man, who reject her, but she don't want to give up, even, when the third person, who is very kind to her, and love her - she is still loyal to her love.
reportRecommended by Shadake
Both are funny, light-hearted romances. However, Koukou Debut focuses more on a couple & their relationship, while Strobe Edge is a story of 2 people and their road to becoming a couple.

Strobe Edge and Akaiito delivers some classic romance themes involving drama, love triangles, and childhood connections. Both series' main protagonists experiences love but finds themselves at difficult times to get their point across. The storytelling of both series has a slow pacing and is fairly predictable. However, character relationships gets more and more complicated as others gets involved while interpersonal issues are explored.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Although the theme unrequited love plays out much longer in Strobe Edge... In Hana-kun its short lived....but the feeling of the story still remains. I think if you liked Strobe Edge's slow pace and anticipation for when realizations will form, and almost a sort of realistic feel to the characters emotions, they sort of collide in that aspect. You may or may not like one or the other but either way these two bring out the great feelings of hurt and true happiness that love brings.

Guy fell in love with a gril [ she doesn't know about that - as always ], he is trying his best, but from the begining he don't really know if it is even possible to make her his. I am saying here abaout Andou [ in Strobe Edge ] and main couple in Himitsu no Ai-Chan

Same Author and although the stories aren't completely the same, they have the same feeling/atmosphere to them. The male protagonist of both series are both 'mysterious' and cute ~ Great stories the both of them.
reportRecommended by sxndz
Both stories have a leading female role with a cute/innocent and confused personality. Then there is the quiet guy she has a crush on and the outgoing guy that likes her (and tries to steal her). Strobe Edge is just more drawn out. To me this felt like a shortened version with some gender bending.
reportRecommended by AlienicoN
Both the mangas are by Sakisaka Io, so it has the same unique way of portraying things, apart from that the story is also quite similar where a girl falls for a guy who already is in love with someone, in omoi, omaware there is one more couple interaction

What's the fun in reading the same plot over again, or using the same character stereotypes? I liked Strobe Light because of the character development and strong supporting cast, so I'm here to recommend another such series to you: my favorite, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (or My Little Monster). The leads are nothing like those found in Strobe Edge, but that isn't my point. I am purely recommending it out of respect for story-telling. Strobe Edge has a more realistic chemistry between its leads, but Shizuku's frankness and Haru's simplicity are hard to resist. Furthermore, it is a much funnier shoujo,  read more

História de romance sem muito drama.

Both manga are from the same author and if you're a fan of her works like ao haru ride, Strobe edge or love me love me not, you will absolutely love this .. they both give similar vibes to them with the author way of conveying young love and friendship..
reportRecommended by Stardust2000
In both mangas there is a heroine who confessed and was turned down, but is willing to continue some kind of relationship with main male character and also second guy who is womanizer and doesn't get anything seriously, but in the end falls for the girl. Quite similar storyline and also art, but Mune ga Naru no wa Kimi no Sei is shorter.
reportRecommended by Akaitaka
Both manga have similar art styles and two main girls whom are a bit alike. (although the main female in Honey seems a bit less.. you know.) They are both school romance stories with a bit of comedy and a good amount of interesting situations.
reportRecommended by Chaimello
Deals with a boy who can't get over his <spoiler>previous love. Extremely similar atmosphere, similar main characters and overall mood.
reportRecommended by Mayuka
Strobe Edge and Suki desu Suzuki-kun!! are shoujo manga with prominent relationship developments. At the core of the story, we have a main female protagonist who attracts the attention of main male characters. Romance is evident as the story progresses and we learn more about them. There is also drama that reaches to climatic points. Expect both friendships and rivalries to develop between the main characters. Anyone who is interested in shoujo should give these two titles a try for their more complicated drama.

A girl having feelings for a guy who already has someone who he cherishes. A story revolving around those 3 characters about love, change, and letting go
reportRecommended by Onigiri-tea
In this recommendation, it's more of a case of "if you like one of these, you'll probably like the other" as both stories are similar, but the plots are pretty different in how things work out. So, in both stories - there's a girl who like's this guy who doesn't exactly seem to be interested in that present time, both stories go about it in different ways. Of course there's a guy on the side who also wants a piece of her. Again, both stories go about it in different ways. I guess what I'm trying to say is, both are love triangles. Maybe they isin't so similar, but this is the story of love triangle, women loves one man, then someone else confes to her and then we have a big mess, but is still a good manga.

Though Strobe Edge is longer they both have the same feeling to it. The heroines are a little alike and both are romances.

Strobe Edge reminds me of peach girl. It is not the same, but the beginnings are a little bit same, along with a love triangle, and playboys.
reportRecommended by maoneechan
Both have a girl falling in love with a guy who already has a girlfriend. Both show how they deal with it when trying to make the guy fall in love with them (Strobe Edge involves other characters a lot more than 100% no Kimi e).
reportRecommended by loey
another great piece by io-sensei.:) both are hardships and struggles about love.
reportRecommended by chie_shou13
For some reason these both remind me of each other... perhaps it's just the mood, or the feel that they give you... but regardless, they're both great! (:
reportRecommended by jayjayy
Both stories deal with an innocent girl (Ninako/Sumino) who begins to like the cool, popular guy (Ren/Hinata), and the guy's blonde best friend (Andou/Teru) also begins to fall for the girl, forming a love triangle. Both guys have to fight each other to win the girl's affection. While Strobe Edge is more deep and involved with many love plots going on, Koko ni Iru yo! is straightforward and also shorter in length.
reportRecommended by zuzoa
In both the main girl ends up falling in love with a handsome dark haired guy that is very lonely and quiet, and he has/had a girlfriend that cannot forget about. So the main girl becomes close friend of that guy´s best friend, which is a blonde energetic and joyful guy who falls in love with her and knows that she loves the other one but still remains at her side trying to get her. And so it starts a love triangle.

the girl is painfully inlove with a guy that has somebody else

Girl falls in love with boy, but boy already has a girlfriend. Both stories are inspiring, heartbreaking, and cute at the same time and are really good reads.

Similar plots: The naive main protagonist(Ninako/Hikaru) has an energetic male childhood friend(Daiki/Masato). Her female best friend(Sayu/Nene) later falls in love with him. The protagonist falls in love with a guy but she is rejected (Ren/Miki), then the best friend of that guy gets close to her(Andou/Jun). Later the first guy starts going out with her again as friends and the love triangle is formed. All characters have extremely similar personalities, and the love triangle is also very similar (the serious guy with issues, the guy who becomes a friend but teases the girl and has a hate-love relationship with her, and the goody goody protagonist) so  read more

They have really similar storylines, and the art is very beautiful in both.

They both have a refreshing feel to it. O_O.... They are both have the same complicated high school love. The girl was surrounded by good looking guys but can't decide whom she'll go out with.

The female protagonist is very lively and active when it comes to love.

If you liked Strobe Edge you should check out Nanoka no Kare and I think you will find it even better. The girls in each go after the guy she likes, but the female lead in Nanoka is a strong straightforward sort of girl and I liked her better as a heroine in many ways, while the female lead in Stobe Edge also really wants to win the guy. They each feature drama, and romance and triangles, with breakups. The male leads are more competitive in Nanoka no Kare. If you liked the  read more

Various love triangles and misunderstandings sticks out both in these two manga series. Both manga involves popular guys that are a bit dense with their own feelings at first but later comes to term with them. I also find the art in both somewhat similar.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both are manga about unrequited love. Difference is that in Locomoco, Hiroko tries her best to hide her feelings from the guy she likes, while in Strobe Edge, Ninako makes her feelings known.
reportRecommended by Koemine
This manga has a bit of a similar vibe. Ren is involved with Mayuka, while Ninako secretly likes him and becomes friends with him. However, the relationship between him and Mayuka is static. Shiika and Ren are similar as far as their love lives.

It gives you the same impression [Shojo and Unrequited love ] But in Kare no Aijou no Hakari the girl fell in love with a GAY guy

Both are about guys that already have girlfriends but the main girls are still attracted to them. Both have quite a bit of drama involved, though Giri Koi is shorter.

both girls are naive when it comes to love and at first they dont really understand what it means to be in love

The main girl likes the protagonist and wishes to be his girlfriend. Sounds simple right? Well, not really. In both series, the main guy is handsome, cold, and indifferent to nearly everyone. However, they eventually warm up and fall in the love with the main girl although without misunderstandings and problems.
