In this recommendation, it's more of a case of "if you like one of these, you'll probably like the other" as both stories are similar, but the plots are pretty different in how things work out.
So, in both stories - there's a girl who like's this guy who doesn't exactly seem to be interested in that present time, both stories go about it in different ways.
