Strobe edge and Ao Haru Ride are manga from the similar author, io-sensei. Both story is about the struggles of a teenager falling in love with the popular guy in school. Both mangas have characters with unique and strong personalities which are lovable to love and to hate. The storyline might sounds cliche but io-sensei is really the master in depicting these type of stories. The sweet moments make you happy, the sad moments make you cry. It is really amazing how the characters grows in both manga. Definitely worth reading.

They both share the same author, Sakisaka Io. High school, love triangles, great supporting cast; pretty much the exact same thing but in different flavors. For Strobe Edge, you have a girl who is hopelessly in love with the popular guy. In Ao Haru Ride, you have a girl who's trying to rekindle an old romance. They both have generic storylines but ultimately set themselves apart through top notch artwork and storytelling.

The same author - Sakisaka Io. I think it explains everything. The atmosphere is very similar and some characters have similar personalities. Even main male characters looks almost identical. Plus both series are interesting school romances with a little good comedy.

Both manga series are first of all, written by the same author, Io Sakisaka. As such, there is the theme of romance present as one of the major drives in both series. Both series' main female protagonist falls for one of the main male protagonist in the series but the main male protagonist has a hard time dealing with it. Both series has a lighthearted atmosphere with no ecchi but rather complied with drama, misunderstandings, and love triangles. Both series also takes place at school setting and deals with complicated relationships.

First and foremost, both are written by the same author, Io Sakisaka. If you have watched Strobe Edge and wanted some more of it, you should definitely give Ao Haru Ride a try. Both deals with the main female lead finding herself experiencing love at the first time. While both male leads projects a quiet, mysterious and gentle image. Love triangles are also present in both mangas.

Well , I loved this mangá and Strobe Edge its very similar to Ao Haru Ride 'cause mainly the aspect is the same as the futaba and kou but but the personalities are a little different when we see the first glance thought '' wtf? Ninako is the baby Futaba and the Ren is the Kou with straight hair? '' lol! The course of history is very interesting and very surprising! Too bad the manga is small but I was really surprised by the author have developed and explained the stories of the characters in a few chapters = P I loved the manga, the   read more

They are two shoujo mangas involving some love triangles but a strong pairing between the main couples. There are also some secondary couples which makes it cute. Overall they are really similar because they can be emotional but very cute!

The story is similar, about a cheerful girl always positive and laughing who falls in love with a cool little depressed seems guy. The girl slowly gets in his life changing it without even realizing. The drawing even is similar. A comedy romance manga.

Similar art and base story, even though they pan out differently. The character development are amazing in both of them, each with their own special traits to make them memorable. Would recommend both!

It was written by the same author, though Strobe Edge has a lighter note than Ao Haru Ride. Certain aspects of the male characters might pull on your heart strings.

Both are romance manga that take place in school. Ao Haru Ride has a lot of contrived drama, which Strobe Edge doesn't have (at least not that much). They are also both made by the same author and have similar art styles.

Both are made by the same person, art & story. Both also follow a similar premise towards falling in love with a so called 'popular guy'. If you're into shoujo and some cliche, these are two very promising works.
