Both series are lighthearted romantic comedies that involves a young girl dealing with a guy who already has a girlfriend. However as time goes on, the two grows closer together.
Both series' main female protagonists has similar personalities.
They also takes place at a school life setting where there is comedy, drama, misunderstandings, and various daily obstacles to go through.
While the characters are very different the story and situation surrounding the character is very similar. Both mangas are very good, and have their cute and sad moments.
