Yuri with quite similar characters' appearances/development, however the characters' personalities are practically swapped in each series. Smart dialogue with nothing too cliche as you may see in other shoujo.

Both these manga are shoujo-ai/yuri, have extremely cute art styles and a tiny bit of ecchi. Both manga give off the same feeling when reading and are set in all girl high schools. If you like one you'll certainly like the other!

NTR & Citrus are both Yuri series focusing on the developing relationships of two school girls. NTR focuses mainly on two girls who are in relationships with boys but secretly like each other. While Citrus focuses on two girls who are also step sisters who develop feelings for each other over time. They both have sexual scenes but NTR is more heavy on it than Citrus. NTR & Citrus both have high drama & suspenseful chapters. Also, aesthetically, a blonde girl is in love with a black haired girl (my favorite trope).

Both this and Citrus have that same element of forbidden love– in the case of Tatoe Todokanu Ito da toshitemo it's a girl in love with her brother's wife. Reading both felt very natural and the character relationships were both well developed– there were elements of angst and small interactions that made them feel very organic (I should mention that Tatoe Todokanu Ito da toshitemo is veeeeery angsty). I can't argue that the other recommended manga are good yuri reads but reading Tatoe Todokanu Ito da toshitemo felt the most like reading Citrus (as an avid yuri reader I can attest to this). I like both of these animes. They are both kind of slow-paced but you end up really feeling for the characters. If you like shoujo ai I recommend both.

Both have a "pseudo-incest" theme, citrus is a Yuri though. Both can have a serious tone, but also have more relaxed and comedic moments Both feature an extensive cast of side characters, some of which are more likeable than others Both can be split into different arcs

I think that the plot here is the same as the love story between Mei and Yuzu where Mei was initially a prison of her family's and society's wishes and expectations until she realized that she has to leave that behind because Yuzu showed a world where she can enjoy not only herself but also their relationship with each others. This anime also features a yuri couple, and the intimate scenes here is as not as emphasized compared to Citrus.

Both tell a romance between two high school girls and can be rather explicit when showing them exploring their sensuality. In both, at least one protagonist isn't lesbian (or at least consciously so) at first. Both have a bit of a disturbing debut: Citrus with Mei's initial behavior toward Yuzu, Arioto because Aya pulls Marika into a suspicious-sounding agreement. Citrus is built as a pure drama (teenage romance with one of the girls having problems). It doesn't shy away from showing toxic behavior and mistreatment, although there always seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. Arioto is built as a social commentary (young lesbians  read more

I cannot fathom how much Yuzu and Mei look like Misaki and Usui if they were a lesbian couple, and while i mean that in terms of appearance, Mei, who look like Misaki, is too a student council president with a rude and cold personality

Same genre and similar plot(a cheerful gal meets a melancholic girl and they develop feelings for each other). Even if Kurokawa and Fujishiro don´t discover their feelings until the end(unlike Citrus where Yuzu an Mei discover their feeling for each other half-way through the story) it is a very satisfying journey. Both manga feel similar to me, so if you liked one you should give the other one a shot(even though in my opinion Citrus is a bit more dramatic than Dekisokonai no Himegimi-tachi, but the second one is not borderline incestuos... so there is that XD).

Both of these series are really, really funny. They also both focus on one couple, who are learning to navigate their feelings. Citrus is a little more melodramatic but they both have a ton of sweet moments. They are my two favorite yuri series by far. I would also recommend Pulse and Lily Love by Ratana Satis. I can't find them on MAL (they are Thai) but they are both excellent as well.

Both mangas have similar approaches to romance - the characters are allowed to think and explore what love and dating mean to them and if it fits with what they heard from other people. Both feature romances between girl main characters. While Citrus is as melodramatic Yuri soap opera, Whisper Me A Love Song has a more light-hearted approach. Whisper Me A Love Song It has become one of my favourite mangas when I think about Shoujo-Ai lately. I surely recommend it.

*Citrus = Yuri, if you hate it don't even bother reading Why? both of them have a rebellious guy / girl who falls in love with a cold "heartless" girl, both of them have pretty similar romance between them, similar art too. However, Citrus is more dramatic while Namaikizakari is more comedic and funny. (sorry for my bad english)

Strawberry Panic & Citrus are both Yuri genres following two girls who have feelings for each other. SP follows more relationships besides Nagisa & Shizuka but Citrus follows one relationship throughout the series. Both series are following a girl who is trying to figure out her romantic feelings toward another girl.

Both these manga are shoujo-ai/yuri and have extremely cute art styles. Blue Friend is slightly darker than Citrus but are somewhat similar to the other in how they make you feel when reading them. If you like one you'll certainly like the other!

Both are funny romance manga. Reading Hapi Mari gave me the same vibe as Citrus.
