I think that the plot here is the same as the love story between Mei and Yuzu where Mei was initially a prison of her family's and society's wishes and expectations until she realized that she has to leave that behind because Yuzu showed a world where she can enjoy not only herself but also their relationship with each others.
This anime also features a yuri couple, and the intimate scenes here is as not as emphasized compared to Citrus.
