In both manga the heroine has an excellent sense of taste and got into a special school thanks to someone's recommendation. While Najica plans to become a chef and is already good at cooking, Ichigo wants to become a pâtissière just like her grandmother and is a complete beginner.

Both Main charcters ate something good which made them smile and want to learn how to cook / bake. Najika and Ichijo Both get recomended into a rich school for the talented, and aim to make the best dessert / strawberry tart that they ate when they were little that made them smile. Najika and Ichigo both love eatting. Along the way of becoming famous, they both meet 2-3 nice guys that help them on there way, and have some sort of romantic feeling between them, which leads to a group of hater girls.

In conclusion Kitchen princess and Yumeiro Patissiere are exactly the same in every way apart from yumeiro patissiere has 3 guys and sweet spirits which help ichigo able to make sweets better. read more

Both main character is a girl and the theme is mainly about cooking and romance.
Also both has that cold hearted boy before getting to know the girl.  SO amazing and cute! <3
The plot is pretty similar except in Kitchen Princess, Najika was already a talented chef from the start, and in yumeiro Patissiere, Ichigo has to work hard to become a wonder patissiere.  They are both simply amazing.

Najika from Kitchen Princess is like Ichigo if she could cook well. Both girls have an extraordinary sense of taste and a great idea of what goes well together, and both want to become a patissiere. Ichigo wants to become a patissiere with no experience, while Najika can already cook. At first, both girls are excluded from their classes, but they both eventually get accepted, and respected.

If you loved the recipes and cooking themes, these two manga share both aspects. However, in Kitchen Princess the characters are older than in Yumeiro Patissiere and deal with more affairs of the heart in addition to cooking competitions. The art is equally  fantastic in both series in regards to the food.

Tohru and Najika are both orphans facing tremendous opposition from those in power. Both girls have an amazing power of optimism to overcome theseobstacles, and even the two main male characters are similiar: Daichi is just like Kyo, and Sora is like Yuki.

WOW.  Although these two manga's have totally different settings, Fruits Basket is school life touching fantasy and Kitchen Princess is school life about cooking, the main characters practically share the same kind of spirit and both stories have the same sort of depth.  Fruitsbasket has more characters, though and is a bit longer.  I'm sure though that if you like one, you'll like the other- especially if you love the main character and the over all feel of the story

I was instantly struck by their similarities. I suppose Fruits Basket vaguely does have something to do with food, but it's more analogical, and anyway, that's not the point. At first glance, both are typical, fluffy, mindless, shoujo manga, but as you read, they become something much more. Fruits Basket and Kitchen Princess are both beautifully illustrated, heart-warming stories that will make you laugh, cry, and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside, about a ridiculously cheerful, optimistic albeit clueless orphaned heroine, an oranyan and a beautiful student council president who seems way too perfect. The oranyan and the beautiful student council president don't get along that well, either. And they're related. Okay, there are way too many similarities. Is this normal? Yuki isn't the student council president until farther along in the story, but whatever. If you adored Kitchen Princess, you'll love Fruits Basket even more! read more

Kitchen Princess and Fruits Basket are both about orphans who are very hard working and kind. Both of these manga include love triangles and alot of the characters are similar. Both of these manga include psychological drama and some tragedy but are also very uplifting at times. But Fruits Basket is more of a fantasy and Kitchen Princess deals with more realistic matters.

Fruits Basket and Kitchen Princess are both shoujo manga about a female protagonist who also happens to be a fairly optimistic orphan. She meets two male characters early on who not only seem to have interest in her, but are also related and have some kind of family problems between each other. The art style of both manga are similarly appealing, and while the stories may provide a bit of laughs, they also have somewhat tragic subject matter.

Both series begin as lighthearted romantic comedies where our kindhearted protagonist gets mixed up with a pair of wealthy boys who are related to each other. You can easily compare Najika and Tohru's never ending kindness, compassion, and optimism, even though Najika has more grit. Sora and Yuki are both princely characters, and Kyo and Daichi are both the rougher outcasts.

Both series do delve into darker subjects, such as grief and parental abuse/neglect and deal with these topics in a sensitive manner. Kitchen Princess is for a younger audience than Fruits Basket, though. Also, both series do have a strong focus on character development where all the characters strive to be better people. read more

I'm actually shocked this isn't on the top of the reccomendation list for Kitchen Princess.
The mangakas for Kitchen Princess is clearly quite heavily inspired by Arina Tanemura, particularly in her art-style. However I have an inkling that the creators of Kitchen Princess closely followed the storyline of Shinshi Doumei Cross.
The plotlines for these two manga are very similar- A girl attends a particular high school in search of her long-lost prince who saved her in her childhood in one form or another. In both, her 'prince' comes from a wealthy family while she is orphaned. Brothers are involved in both, in both the girl is looked down upon by the school, etc etc. very, very similar- Although personally, I think Shinshi Doumei Cross is MUCH better. Kitchen Princess, however, is much more child-friendly.

Main male characters are pretty similar in a way also, the story unfolds similarly. You could just add a cooking element and lots of food allusions about love then you could have Kitchen Princess. And, Kitchen princess is quite a bit more dramatic.

Both main characters originate from Hokkaido and move to Tokyo for higher prospects. Tanpopo and Najika are both strong and cheerful heroines, and their love interests do their best to support them in their endeavors. As Kitchen Princess focuses on cooking, Imadoki concentrates more on gardening.

Both Najika (Kitchen no Ohime-sama) and Kyoko (Skip Beat!) were not raised by their parents and have a special skill (Kyoko- acting; Najika- cooking).
Also, in the past, the two of them met a boy that helps them, but they don't remember him really well (so they search for him).
The two stories include comedy, romance and drama. Skip Beat! is longer and Kitchen no Ohime-sama is more tragic. They're both worth reading.

Kitchen no Ohimesama is like a combination between Yumeiro Patissiere and Kirarin Revolution! All Three are Awesome Manga! Hiroto in Kirarin Revolution looks just like Daichi in Kitchen no Ohimesama ^ ^ Both of them have similar personalities. Kirari and Najika also have similar personalities and they both love to eat ^ ^

Both stories feature kids who made promises with another kid long ago, and they both struggle to find out who is who. However, in Kitchen Princess, it's from a girl's point of view and Nisekoi is from a guy's point of view. Also, Kitchen Princess is more dramatic and Nisekoi is more comedic and quirky. Overall, both stories have similar stories and charming characters that readers will get attached to.

I am surprised no one made a recomendation of these two yet. Both main characters in Kitchen Princess and Rockin' Heaven have very loveable characters that are too meddlesome for their own good. Story-wise I can't really say they are similar, but I can see some similarities such as how anyone would fall for the main girl or how they make friends so easily and how they love to help each other out. They saved relationships between the guys and their family and someone in both manga dies! There were lots of possible love triangles going and and both girls do their best in getting the guy that they wanted, as for it they succeeded, there is only one way to find out!  Read it and explore the adventures both girls go through! read more

Love in Focus and Kitchen Princess are two shoujo manga following a main character who moves away to a school campus dorm/boarding home and has a strong passion for her hobby that she got from her loved one(s). She eventually finds herself between a love triangle with two boys, one with blonde-ish hair who is more gentle and one with black/brown hair who is somewhat not as easily gentle. Are some parts of the story predictable? Maybe... you can say that, but enjoy the ride with some nice art.

Chicken Cutlet Princess and Kitchen Princess are two shoujo comics that follow a girl who really loves to eat food (though it's a specific food in Chicken Cutlet Princess's case... guess what it is...). Chicken Cutlet's main character reminds me of Kitchen Princess's Najika when it comes to food being disliked/discarded. The art in both comics are really cute and have similar appeal with each other (especially with how the eyes are drawn).

Kobato and Kitchen Princess are both manga with some really delightful art that may appeal to shoujo fans. The main character is a somewhat odd but sweet and relatively innocent young girl, who seems to be able to touch the hearts of the people she meets and learns to know, and has a personal goal that she wishes to reach. But the story is a lot more dramatic than it seems, and the girl may find herself in some extremely dire situations in her journey towards her wish.

Both mangas have a main protagonists that have an impeccable sense of cooking. The protagonists main love interest also love the cooking and are really attracted to them The only difference is that Akuma to dolce is more supernatural and has an element of fantasy, while kitchen princess is more slice of life. In the end both have sweet and amazing stories that are must reads.

Both series are actually pretty similar in certain aspects. Kitchen Princess and Recipe No Oujisama (roughly translated as The Prince Of Recipe; heck, similar titles even) are about our protagonists who strive to become a professional cook since they possess godly cooking skills. Both our protagonists also share similar pasts where they met a boy who "saved" them with food. While trying to achieve their dreams, they become acquainted with their love interests, and they slowly realize there's a possibility that their love interests are the boys they met as children.

The difference here is that Kitchen Princess is shoujo while Recipe No Oujisama is BL. Kitchen Princess is much longer and spans 50 chapters while Recipe No Oujisama is short and spans only 8 chapters. While Recipe No Oujisama is light-hearted, Kitchen Princess is slightly darker due to some tragic events that happen in the story. Still, both are sweet romance stories anyway. read more

Kitchen Princess has cooking, and Twinkle Cherry is a short school slice of life, but both have similar themes of trying to find (and figure out who is) the childhood friend.  There are male siblings in both series, though only Twinkle Cherry's main heroine has a sister.  If you liked one, you will most definitely enjoy the other.

It is pretty much the same story line, that kind girl with no partner, those two guys, one tough and one kind. To me, it's like mamotte! lollipop with cooking! It even includes awesome, tasty recipie extras!

I believe Kitchen Princess is a very romantic novel that also involves several other genres like comedy, drama, romance, school life, shoujo, and tragedy. Millennium Snow also involves some similar genres like drama, romance and shoujo. Both stories involve the main character choosing between two male characters. Even though Millennium Snow involves fantasy, both novels are really cute to read. 

Millennium Snow is about a 17-year-old girl named Chiyuki Matsuoka was born with heart problems, and her doctors say she won't live to see the next snow. Touya is an 18-year-old vampire who hates blood and refuses to make the traditional partnership with a human whose life-giving blood would keep them both alive for a thousand years. Altogether, it's a very funny manga to read! ENJOY!!!!    read more

Kitchen Princess and Aria have a lot in common when it comes to the emotions they evoke and the characters themselves. Najika and Akari both share a wonderful optimism about life even through difficult situations. Aika and Akane also remind me of each other, though Aika was never quite so cold to Akari. Though Kitchen Princess has more drama and tragedy, I feel that fans would also enjoy the gentle pacing and relaxed joyful feeling of Aria.
