The two main characters go through similar changes in their lives. They both begin as assassins and eventually turn around to use their skills for the good of others.

I find the artwork and stye similar in both series and both have samey villains... both train and chrono have conflicted paths and find friends who help them

Both of these manga focus on outlaws who are wrapped up on world changing plots, and tackle themes of morality

Both are fantasy-tinged action-centred series about groups of freelancers with unusual areas of expertise. In both series the main characters' backstories become gradually increasingly important, with their attempts to discard their pasts giving way to confrontation and conflict.

I labelled the animes as similar as well. I've gotta say, when I originally read the manga it gave me the same feel as Black Cat did. There are some character relationships that are the same, such as Atsushi and Kyouka being similar to Train and Eve. There are story elements that have the same feeling to them, though not in a bad "this one copied the other" way. Both of these series are very good in my opinion (many say Black Cat's manga is much better than the anime) and are particularly worth picking up.

Both plots center around assassination and have lots of extremely comedic moments, however Akame ga Kiru! is much more serious and dark at times. If you're a fan of either series, I highly recommend reading the other.

In both mangas the main character is a guy and their names both start with "T" _but I'm sure that's a coincidence. Taisou and Train both like to battle and both carry around a special weapon for Train it's his gun, Hades, and for Taisou it's his sword, Fukuma no Tsurugi(I think). Both of them also come across imposters of themselves and neither tell the imposters who they are.

Manga that have somewhat of a complex plot that links back to the past, which is revealed later in the story. Both contain a lot of comedy, usually happening between the major fighting scenes. Finally, these manga are based on the plot device of super power.

Both protagonists are orphaned assassins that work for an organization but then eventually leave their organization and join the side of good. Both manga also have the same art style because it's by the same author.

Both are basically required reading for anyone who likes the simple yet entertaining style of early 2000s manga. Both get right to the action while still leaving room for character and plot development.

i was recommended to read black cat by someone to read it as a random odd jobs of catching criminals bt was surprised to see it was a bit similar to yozakura family as both have assassination background as a base of many elements happening around so if you like black cat i would recommend yozakura family

Black Cat and Code:Breaker has a colorful cast of characters with their own specialties. The main male protagonist is a young man with a level headed personality but also has their dark past. Both series identifies their role in the beginning as a mysterious individual but we learn more about them as the story progresses. There is themes of revenge present in both series that serves as an important motivation for some of the main characters. There is also considerable amount of relationship dynamics that establishes certain friendships, romances, and hate rivalries in both series.

Both Black Cat and Battle Angel Alita are about bounty hunters. Both main characters are not interested in money (something that sets them apart from other characters). Both Train and Alita have had experience fighting before becoming bounty hunters. (Train being a former assassin. Alita not knowing who she is but having great skill in marshal arts.) Both Train and Alita have a friend that they live with who worked as a bounty hunter longer then them. However, Train and Sven usually work together, while Alita and Ido prefer to work solo. Also, both series have a special café/bar for bounty hunters where the main  read more

These have strong male leads with considerable skills in their respective weapons. Both work for a strange organization and both travel with a young girl with mysterious powers. Both have a dark past which affects them still. Black Cat is more humorous than UDDUP but it is also filled with a lot of seinen bloodshed.

They both have similar aspects in the plot, such as the virus in Bloody Monday and the virus near the end of the of Black Cat. Both protgists sometimes have split pupls and there nature seems to change. I think that they are both quite similar as they are both trying to stop people from spreeding viruses (near the end of Black Cat) and has a very complex plot. I think that is you like one you will like the other.

Both involve people, especially children, invoking fantastic powers to deal with their own weakness or to feed their own agendas. If you like one, you will definitely like the other.

The series are very similar, from the plot to the character types to the world the story takes place in. You almost expect the characters from one series to run into the characters from the other!

Well, both of these stories are about a guy who was once a part of a "mob-like" organization, and left becoming a bounty hunter. In "Black Cat" the main character is named "Train" and his rival is "Creed", who wants to take over the organization. In "Bebop" the main character is "Spike" who's rival is "Vicious", who had succeeded in overtaking the mob-organization. There is also a girl involved in both stories, and each has a right-hand man and a woman that used to be a thief. This is a really good story. I'm not quite finished, but so far it's well written, and the  read more

Black Cat and Katekyo Hitman Reborn have the same feel when it comes to the shounen fights. Plus, their humor is the same too! While the beginning of Reborn has a different buildup (In Black Cat, the action starts right away), when the action in Reborn begins, it is just as good. Anyone who likes Black Cat will like Reborn, and vice versa~

There are many differences in these two but many similarities. The main characters red and train are a like.theyre A guy looking for someone from his past. He is very strong. He can get serious put other times acts like an idiot.I'm not very far along in blood soul, but I think if you like one then the other should be enjoyable as well.

The male leads are former assassins who are highly skilled in their weapons and both involve a lot of action. Both have a dark past.

Assassins, part of an organisation called Number(s). The main character appears to have a vendetta against a current / ex-colleague. Each assassin within the organisation appears to have their own specific skills and abilities. The main characters also appear to use guns as their main arsenal. Plots are different from the start, but these similar elements may lead one to like one and the other.

Each of these mangas reminds me of the other. The main character Takagi Chrome and Train Heartnet is really similar. There are also similarities with secret organizations and the 12 Apostles along with the weapon of choice.

both involve assassins that attempt to leave their organizations.
