Both deal heavily with hallucinations and characters' mental state-- very surreal. They're mind-bending and deal with your perception of reality. They each share a similar detailed art style. They're both dark, serious and mature.

Both of these manga have a fragmented storyline that might make reading it confusing, but also rewarding if you're into things like that - a complex storytelling. Both also have great detailed art.

If you ever want to know how psychedelic drugs feels without trying them yourself, you can always try reading these two. They are also two of the most underrated mega-seinen works in the scanlation scene. I made up the word "mega-seinen", but you get the idea.

Garden and Ultra Heaven are two trippy manga. Garden is some of the darkest stuff that has been published, and Ultra Heaven is kind of light. Both are really worth the read.

Ultra Heaven and Ryuuguuden are similar in that they are taking you on a surrealistic and often absurd journey. Ryuuguuden is both in imagery and telling style very non-realistic, and Ultra Heaven quite the opposite, but you really should check out the other if you like one of them.

Both works feature bizarre psychedelic sequences and very creative paneling. Both artists are said to have been influenced by French comic artists.

Fever dreams in manga form. A deliberately unclear plot, strange imagery, and an overall bizarre experience to read. They are drawn with very atypical arthouse panelling styles combined with art that “melts” together between scenes to create a continuous stream.

Similar reality shattering feel. Ultra Heaven based in a city. G based mostly in the rainforest.

Epic adventures in the super seinen league! That tag line should really be enough, lol, both these titles are great works of art that's looking at things like morals, society, fears, psychology, and still manage to keep it highly interesting at the same time.

The protagonist is constantly getting into dream-like states which leads tu surreal situations that are portrayed with nice to look at surreal art.

Both have male leads who go on wild drug related journeys. The Ultra Heaven world is more plausible futuristic, while the Citron world is more absurdist supernatural. The art in Citron is somewhat similar to Ultra Heaven, although Ultra Heaven is much cleaner and more fluid.

Both series deal extensively with drugs; and both series have a similar atmosphere near the beginning (ghettos and drug dens).

Protagonists experience a mixing of dreams and reality, as a "bad trip" occurs that they feel the need to get out of. Both of these have interesting art.

If you enjoy the bizzare and trippy art and plot of Keiichi Koike (or well, just surreal art in general), you shouldn't miss these two manga.

Both of those are trippy, convoluted (good way) manga about the mixing of reality and dreams/fiction, with great art to pair it with.

Blame and Ultra Heaven rely heavily on the art to get the message across. Both are sci-fi, but in Blame! the protagonist does his journey in the outer (?!) world where as in Ultra Heaven it happens in the inner (?!).
