Preliminary Spoiler

Rain, though it seems to be a little known manga, is actually quite a good quick read. Although I expected the typical kingdom-war kind of story, and it did follow that stereotype quite a bit, it was hilarious at some parts. The first few chapters have a bare thread plotline linking several characters in different places, but gets better as the story moves forward.
Artwise, the character designs are rather simple, but come together nicely; I personally liked it, but different people have different tastes
Character development was a bit limited, with the main character (Rain) being rather interesting/mysterious, but the rest don't get ...

Rain is a tale of a knight and his princess, as he strives to protect her and the small country that she will be queen of.

And unfortunately, it's boring as hell and painful to read.

Most notably, it reads out like a Mary Sue fic. And as a result, there is no tension in this story. It's a fantasy slice-of-life story without the comedy, and its attempts at drama and plot becomes irrelevant because the presentation is so dull, and the complete lack of realism makes it difficult at best to take it seriously.

What is a real pity is that the plot isn't that bad; it's ...

I was browsing around looking for a good fantasy and i saw this manga rain.At first i was hesitant as this seem like one of those mangas where the main character would probably be ridiculously overpowered and even though the main character is indeed very strong i still enjoyed reading it.

Art- The art of this manga is pretty simple isnt the most outstanding i have ever seen however the art matches its medieval kind of setting.

Story- The basic story is about The continent Murgenia, where they master swordsmanship and magic: The small country Sunkwoll is in a tight spot because it's under attack of ...

Ummmm...well, Rain is a kind of manga with that cliche kind of story really.A love story between a young princess and yep u guessed it, the strongest knight of the kingdom 'Rain'.
Even though the story is predictible however the art is awesome and the characters are very likeable. The battle sequences are very good as well but for me the heart and soul of this manga is basically Rain. His strenght, laid back back personality and sometimes his over the top antics give this manga a life.
So overall I would say it ...

Never heard of this manga before, and I forgot how I came across this series, but I am glad I did. I was not sure what to expect from this manga, but as I kept reading I was impressed by the story. It started off with your typical political medieval manga setting, where one country is at war with another. However, later on it turned a little like _Game of Thrones_ without the killing of all of the characters, with a mix of comedy. When other kingdoms were introduced, as the story progressed, the kingdoms stayed relevant. Their is also ...

I love this manga, despite MC is OP his emotion is quite vulnerable like superman is. This is why I like him unlike majority of OP manga nowadays.

Female character design also one of the best I saw. Sadly after the author died in early 2009, the artist left because she want to respect author as the one who create the story. So now we stucked at chapter 100 forever.

The story started simple until it became politically complex. Side character also given time to have character growth which is pretty rare todays. I wish people read this manga although another review hate it saying it's generic ...
