After constantly putting off reading this manga i have finally caught up.Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is a very popular manga among teens in japan that is always in the top 10 of weekly shounen jump and so i wondered what was so good about it and after having read it i can say the popularity is well deserved.Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is different from the standard shounen series the entire concept of middle scholars having to kill their homeroom teaching or else he will blow up the planet in a year is something you don't see in shounen.The relationship between the students and the teacher koro sensei is peculiar ... the teacher always pushes his students to become the best of themselves and they the students love their sensei but also know they have to kill him in a year.The underlying dark tones are also ever present and the reveal of koro sensei`s backstory literally turns the series on its head.The buildup to the reveal was executed perfectly and leaves readers mind blown.

Story 8: The story is fantastic, ample time is spent developing the characters of
the members of class e and their relationship with koro sensei.The school setting has been done to death and has become cliche however ansatsu brings something new to the table not only is there an in classroom conflict in the students having to kill their teacher their is an out of classroom conflict as well a conflict of ideals in education.Class e entire existence is to be shunned and scorned being class e the end class it is for those who are not in class e to look at a ridicule to make themselves feel better and push themselves to achieve to not end up in the end class.The students are trapped in despair and hopeless feeling like their lives are over for being in class e however koro sensei sought to change the system which inevitably led to conflict between his ideal on education and the chairman who was hellbent on keeping his system.In case you didn't know Japanese culture in general is based on education and work as such grades determine everything, the weak die and the strong survive mentality.From what i have seen in Korean and Japanese manga education is very important and typically students even attend cram school which is school after school and the adults work long overtime with no breaks if you don't you don't get payed.It is an industrial society because of this as a result fun fact it has led to low birth rates as people are always working and have no time for kids and by 2050 if it continues at this rate the population will be cut in half.The point of what i just said is the show the weight of results in japan and the level of despair students of class e feel being the lowest of the low on the education totem pole.The story progresses smoothly with the slow acceptance of koro sensei into the class to the students who were in living hell eventually believing they could be someone and not just the scum of society.There are really two plot points class e rising above adversity and the system they were stuff in and the assassination of koro sensei.The assassination of koro sensei plot point had a slow buildup,hints of his past and motives are shown throughout the series until a huge climax which turned the series on its head everything now made sense and brings a level of respect to the foreshadowing from many chapters past.

Art 8: The art in assassination classroom is good its crisp and clean suits the school setting and the battle sequences that follow.

Character 8: The characters in ansatsu are all enjoyable, the beginning developed the members of the classroom and introduce new members to the classroom.The atmosphere in the classroom went form one of hopelessness to a happy one because of koro sensei. Koro sensei is a very good teacher he teachers the students not only classroom lessons but also life lessons.He gave off a very mysterious and kind of contradictory vibe he loves his students and cares deeply for them yet at the same thing is gonna blow up the earth and kill them all in a year.His motives were hinted at throughout the series and then came a massive plot twist that finally made everything make sense.The other characters are also good the chairman`s ideals in a sense aren't necessarily evil it is that sacrificing of the few for the many ideal and they do indeed bring results is that right well that is up for interpretation.The way he is as a person makes him seem very evil not only to his students but also to his own son who he has instilled in the notion of power and results are all that is important.At the heart of his character is a person who has made a mistake.He and koro sensei are two sides of the same coin.The main character nagisa is not a weak person he has incredible strength and the reasons behind his trapish look makes the reader feel sad for him.A character who i wont name to spoil anyone completely throws the reader off guard the reveal of their intentions came out of nowhere but look close enough and the foreshadowing was there.

Enjoyment 8: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is really enjoyable to read and once you play close attention to the underlying themes of the story you instantly realize the potential it has and so the reader is compelled to keep reading.The reveals don't disappoint and the story is filled with fun and enjoyment.

Overall 8: This is a very good series that if you can see its potential hooks you in and forces you to continue reading.The story and characters are good and it deserves the attention it gets.

Dragon ball z revival of f left me very conflicted while i enjoyed the fantastic art and action the story was lacking and had several major issues.The story is definitely not anything spectacular or complex dragon ball z has always been simple and easy to understand so i didn't expect that here however it had major issues that i had gripes with.There are 3 types of dragon ball z fans those who like the original dragon ball more for the comedy and adventure and don't mind and enjoy slice of life moments and then you have those who liked dragon ball z more for the ... action and then those in between who like both the slice of life stuff and action.Dragon ball z battle of gods from a story stand point was leaps and bounds better than revival of f however it lack action which revival delivers on to the fullest.Which is the better movie depends on whether you like dialogue and story more or seemingly mindless action.

Story 7: The story for revival of f is simple,freeza is revived and wants revenge on those who led to his demise,goku and trunks.He goes to earth and a epic battle insures.That is all there is to this movie its simple and easy to predict.That is how dragon ball has always been and the reason why it is so popular because anyone of any age can easily understand the story.The story however had issues the thought of freeza even remotely been a threat to the z warriors at this point in time is ridiculous, the gap between freeza and buu is enormous and now that goku has god like power it is even more ludicrous that freeza could even be goku`s equal.The ending was also lack luster.Freeza was one of the most feared individual in the universe but in this movie he provided no real threat to the z warriors and as we all could expect didn't leave any real damage.This movie is indeed fan service for long time fans, to give us something to enjoy by bringing back arguable the most iconic dragon ball z villain and put him up against goku in an epic revenge rematch battle so in that perspective i guess the issues of the story can be looked past because the story was never meant to be the major aspect of this movie but it is the action instead.The fights didn't have much tension and seem like this was a training session for goku and vegeta and not a fight for their and the earths survival .

Art 9: This movie is the best looking dragon ball z movie or any dragon ball z material to date, everything looked crisp and fluent.The action scenes were fantastic combined the good old fashion dragon ball z actions scenes with the blurred lines with the new animation cgi which weren't really an issue it didn't look bad.

Sound 7: The sound in revival of f felt a little lack luster, there were only like 3 or 4 sounds in the entire film and there were scenes that i felt needed music however for what was played was good.

Character 8: The characters were great a meld of the old dragon ball z cast with the new characters such as beerus,whis and jaco.The new characters made the movie more enjoyable with their interactions with each other beerus and whis still being beerus and whis with their interactions of food which are fun to watch.Jaco an instant hit character being a very interesting character to see being comedy relief and a very awesome character.In this movie goku actually got some character development,goku is that guy that always wants to fight and face new obstacles and he doesn't differentiate between good and evil meaning even if you are evil he would still give you a second chance to live so you can come back and fight him again because goku loves fighting but that kind of pure hearted desire for a new challenge is naive and often puts himself and those he loves in danger and the events in this movie led him to realize that and show him that he shouldn't let evil get a second chance and put others in danger.Goku believes too much in his own power and because of that tends to let his guard down because he sure in himself.Goku wasn't always like this i think its the super sayain power going to his head every since he became a super sayain and obtained that level of power with each gain in power he got more and more over confident case in point majin buu said he could defeat him as a super sayain 3 but didn't because he was so sure of himself and wanted the kids to do it. He was humbled in battle of gods by beerus by seeing that there are many others out there who he cant beat however goku being goku and always striving towards new power getting god like power it again has gone to his head and again but now he learned of the consequences of his actions and resolved himself to not let it happen again.

Enjoyment 8: This was a very enjoyable movie that had its comedic moments but was action packed from start to finish. I enjoyed every single minute of it, it had a lot of issues however looking past those this was really enjoyable for long time dragon ball z fans.

Overall 8: This was a very good dragon ball z movie that had its issues however if the obvious inconsistencies and plot holes are ignored it was a really good action packed movie.

Eureka seven is a classc mecha anime, no this is a love story.The story clearly wasn't the major aspect of this but instead it was the relationship between eureka and renton.

Story 7: The story isn't the major part of this anime and has such it takes a back seat to the characters which can be frustrating.The story is good but it took way too long for it to be revealed.Throughout this anime there was no incline of where the story was going until episode 30 which is really not acceptable.30 episodes in before you even know what the story is about is a bit too ... long.The goals of gekkostate and the worlds end game none of it was revealed until more than half way through the series.The story was good but if it were to have been revealed in bits and pieces over time it would have been great.At episode 30 came a bombardment of information that for a long time needed to have been revealed which leaves a feeling of haste and not a natural flow.The story is secondary to the characters, it was only there to further develop relationships, and so the viewer could care more about the characters.This is basically the story of two lovers everything else is just there to progress the relationship between the two main characters renton and eureka.

Art 7: The art was good, it was unique though it shows the era of this anime`s creation in 2006 because it isn't as dynamic as anime now in 2015,it was simple.

Sound 8: The sound was very good it enhanced the series.

Character 8: This is a character driven series.The story focuses primarily on the relationship between renton and eureka.Renton at first was a very emotional and naive kid who was oblivious of the workings of the world.Eureka on the other hand had a cold and emotionless demeanor.Throughout the series as their relationship developed renton became less naive and became more responsible and eureka gained emotions.The relationship between eureka and renton was built up throughout the series to its climax at the end.

Enjoyment 8: This was enjoyable however it didn't progress the way i thought it would which through me off i did not expect to go into this mecha anime which i usually don't watch a lot of this genre but from those that i have watched typically its all about the action however this one is all about the relationship between eureka and renton.I had major gripes about this mostly it not revealing the end game of the series until about episode 30 however having sat down and though about it i realized this series isn't so much about the story but about the characters.

Overall 8: I really enjoyed this i had issues with the story but having thought about the series has a whole i realized what it truly tried to do and accepted that the story isn't so much the major component of this series the characters are.

Terra Formars is your typical apocalyptic kind of manga.There is a constant sense of danger,death and despair in this manga however to achieve this character development is often sacrificed.While i don't like the ever present killing of characters that didn't have sufficient time to develop i however still enjoy reading this mostly because of the detail it always goes into about the different types of animal powers the characters possess and the amazing detailed art which is often gory.Don't expect an amazing story or complex characters because you wont find them here but do expect to be entertained.

Story:7 If you know what the definition of ... terra forming is then you can probably guess what terra formars is about.The story of terra formars goes like this,500 years ago humans sent cockroaches and mold to mars in an attempt to warm up the planet basically terra form it into a planet that's warm enough for humans to live in.And what happens next you ask well lets just say it didn't go exactly as planned,evolution is a bitch.They indeed achieved their objective of terra forming the planet but they also got unwanted inhabitants.The cockroaches they sent to mars evolved and are now intelligent proving to be be quite an adversary to mankind.

Art:9 The art in this manga is probably the best thing about it.The art is so detailed when people are being killed.Yea its that kind of manga if you don't like gore don't read this.

Characters:7 The characters are good but kinda weak.The author tends to only give massive development to characters when or before they dies.Their backstories are laid out along with what the power they gained from animals allow them to do.None of the characters on the mission to mars had a good life.Most of them went on the mission for the money so they can start new lives.I honestly don't really care for a lot of the characters that much expect for those we follow the most throughout the story.What i do like a lot are the cockroaches ,yea they are disgusting creatures but their level of intellect and ingenuity is shocking.These guys just never stop evolving.

Enjoyment:8 Despite its flaws i still enjoy reading this.I mostly enjoy the details that are given about the insects the characters use.I learned a lot about insects that i didn't know before.Did you know there is an animal that inhabits the japanese archipelago called the planaria that if cut in half will become two because of its regenerative abilities?You may have or may not know this but this is just one of the many things i learned about because of this manga.

Overall:8 While not having the best story or characters terra formars still piques my interest because of the detail of its art and the powers used by the characters.This is a pretty enjoyable series just don't think too hard about it.If you want a manga with apocalyptic setting and interesting powers then you should check this out.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku continues where the first season left off however this season focuses on Hachiman's methods with which he solves problems.If you have watched the previous season then their should be no need to explain why this series is so good.This is one of the best romcom i have ever seen it breaks the cliches that are present in other romcom's to point that it feels like this series is a reflection of the social environment of the real world.The methods used by hiki are the most logical and fastest way to fix problems however fast solutions aren't ... usually long lasting ones his methods may have solved the problems in the present but the issue will arise again in the future.Hikigaya's constant willingness to put himself in situations that hurt himself even though he himself may not be hurt are directly hurting the people around him who care for him.This is shown in the situation in hiyato's group where tobe's confession threatened to ruin the status quo of the group.Everyone wanted to keep the relationship between them the same but he couldn't hold back his feeling anymore and hiki had to step in thereby resorting to his quick and logical methods which hurt the people around him and placed a strain on his relationship with yuu and yukinon because they hated seeing him hurt himself.

Story:9 The story is basically about the volunteer club who go around fixing the problems of their school mates.What more can i say about the story of this series this isn't a story driven series but a character driven one the story at this point isn't really important its just about the actions of the character's.The actions of the characters are what drive and further the story.

Art:9 I gotta take some time to talk about the art of this series.The art of this very good and i love how it uses body language to express what the character's are feeling you don't even have to hear them talk about what their feelings but you can tell what they are feeling just by paying attention to their body language.

Sound:9 The sound of this anime is amazing i thoroughly enjoyed it every week the music and sound used during emotional scenes were superb.

Character:The characters are absolutely amazing hikigaya has become one of my favorite character's because of his ideals and his inner monologue's.His desire for something genuine reflects my own desire because many friendships are shallow and based on superficial things.We try so hard to maintain our superficial friendships and not try to understand what other people feel and only thing of ourselves.Their relationship looks very shaky at the moment and its only a matter of time until it breaks.They don't feel that they can fully trust each other.And until they do a genuine relationship will never be formed.I think it's pretty obvious at this point that both yuu and yukinon have some feelings for hiki however they try to not act on them because they want to maintain the current relationship that the three of them have.

Enjoyment:9 I really enjoyed this series because of how realistic it is.This series is above other romcom and deserves all the praise it gets.

Overall:9 This is a very realistic series that i really enjoyed.This really got me to think about the relationships in my life and what i want from them. i hope in the near future a season 3 will come out so the greatness will continue.

When i first saw this anime i was very doubtful it would be good for two reasons:the description sounded like it would be boring though it did catch my eye haven't see an anime like this in a long while and i heard it was rushed.I heard like about 100 chapters worth of content was being crammed into 12 episodes which is absolutely ridiculous i thought there was no way it could be good however i was proven wrong from the first episode.Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo stands apart from the anime that have been coming out in recent seasons its not the best thing ... ever but the whole body switching aspect glued me in on the first episode.

Story:8 The story is about yamada who while going up the stairs switched bodies with a girl.After returning to his body and learning about witches,students at his school with special powers he sets out to find the other witches who all have different abilities which activate with a kiss.The story was pretty interesting i thoroughly enjoyed it.The story is very eye catching i mean a guy switching bodies with a kiss haven't seen that in a while.I typically don't enjoy gender bender anime all that much but this one i did because it wasn't just about switching bodies the past about other witches and their powers were flesh out.Though i felt the story at points felt rushed i still enjoyed it.

Art:8 The art is pretty good,makes this anime look different from the other anime this season but it wasn't the greatest thing ever or the best this season but it was unique.

Sound:7 The sound was ok i liked the opening and ending though the music played throughout the series was kinda forgettable maybe just isn't my kind of music.

Character:7 I didn't like a lot of them at first but they grew on me over the series.Time was spent showing the back stories of the witches however it felt a little rushed at times.

Enjoyment:8 I enjoyed Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo a lot it was a good anime.

Overall:8 For an anime that adapted like 100 chapters into 12 episodes it did pretty good it felt rushed at times but i could still understand the story and didn't really feel that something was terribly missing however it would have been good to have more episodes to flesh out the characters more but for what it did it was good.This anime is different from the standard harem/romance anime.I didn't really feel like this was a harem anime and unlike most harems out there,there was romance progression.The main character didn't beat around the bush he was honest with his feelings and ended up with one girl at the end.

Black Clover is your standard typical shounen manga.If you like shounen manga such as naruto,bleach,one piece etc you might like this however if you are annoyed by the troupes in shounen manga such as main characters being weak and looked down on but never giving up then you will probably not like this.If your looking for something different from normal shounen you wont find it here its the typical shounen.
Story:7 Basic breakdown of the story is young orphan boy with no magical power whatsoever in a magical world wants to become the Emperor Magus basically the ruler of magicians/the strongest.The story is ok seen it ... done many times but cliche doesn't necessarily mean bad.Its average however i still enjoy it.
Art:7 The art is pretty average nothing spectacular.

Character:7 The characters are average nothing much to them really seen these types constantly in other shounen.The main character aster is the a carbon copy of what shounen main characters tend to be.He is dumb knucklehead,honest and pure of heart has no magic power in a world that values it and is discriminated against because of it yet he never gives up and wants to become the greatest magician.While the other main character is the standard rival type of character who is a genius though he is a true friend who respects aster's will to never give up.

Enjoyment:7 I enjoy reading this however i don't really have high expectation so far its pretty average its not the best thing ever or the worst just average.

Overall:7 If you want a new shounen to read then you might want to check this out but don't have too high a expectation because its pretty much the same stuff we always see in shounen not that that's bad though.

Akatsuki no yona is a very good fantasy/adventure anime.I am ashamed to tell that i actually dropped this series a while back and only picked it up back again recently.The general description of yona is about a princess being in love with her cousin.Sounded like the typical shoujo anime which i tend to be not a huge fan of however this is not the typical shoujo.The main character seem like a spoiled brat in the beginning and cried a lot which was annoying but understandable because of her situation.Time is actually spent exploring the world and showcasing the government of the country in which the ... series takes place.This is a good adventure anime that deserves attention.

Story:8 The story is about a princess that fled her kingdom and initially for the 4 dragons people who have dragons blood passed down from ancient times to the present,to protect herself and the people she cares about from dragons,. I really like the story of this anime always good to see anime that doesn't neglect its story or characters.

Art:8 I really like the art used in Akatsuki no Yona its very good.

Sound:8 The music used in this anime was very good.

Character:8 I really like the characters in this anime.A lot of time is spent developing these characters and showing their back stories.Yona at first annoyed me however by the end of the series she became one of my favorite female character.She isn't a damsel in distress she actually fights on the front lines for what she believes in with the people she cares about.

Enjoyment:8 I really enjoyed watching Akatsuki no Yuna and i am happy that i decided to take it back up again i was not disappointed.

Overall:8 This is a really good adventure anime dont like the shoujo description fool you this is not the typical shoujo anime.

Noblesse is far from the stereotypical vampire series that i often see.I enjoy reading fantasy/supernatural series a lot and on the hunt for more series to read i constantly saw noblesse but repeatedly choose not to read it because its description sounded like the stereotypical vampire series which i tend to not be a fan of.When i finally decided to give it a chance i was not impressed.The series started off slow,the pages was short and the art at first wasn't that great.After reading it for a couple of days i was hooked.I don't know their is something about reading in color,the story and ... characters began to grow on me.This is a action series if you like those you will probably like this.
Story:9 The general description of the story is about a vampire waking up after 820 into modern day society .The story at first was very slow however the further into it you get the better it gets.The description doesn't reflect what this story has to offer.The story takes its time to explain and build its world which i like.The mysteries surrounding Raizel the main character such as who he is and why he was asleep so long were all answered.it takes time to understand the full scope of everything that is happening in the series which is because the author takes his/her time towards world building.

Art: 9 The art is fantastic its always good to look at it was meh in the beginning however it gets better later on.

Characters:9 The characters are great i actually care for all of them and not just the main character.That is because a lot of time was spent to flesh out all the characters so we know who they are.

Enjoyment:9 I really enjoy this series everything about it is god the story,art,characters.I am completely hooked on this series.

Overall:9 I really enjoy this series and i recommend it to anyone who wants a good action series with a different kind of twist on vampires.

Naruto Gaiden is a side story definitely not a continuation of the main series.Personally i enjoy reading this every week because it is an extension of the main series however if i really look at it this series is essentially unnecessary.Dont get me wrong i want more naruto content but the plot of this is essentially some baby mama drama.You would think boruto the son of the previous main character would be the main character of this series but he isn't.The main character is sarada and the story follows her on her quest to find out who is her mother.Actually i like that sarada is ... the mc and not boruto,sarada is actually a good female character unlike kishimoto's other failed attempts to develop females this one actually succeeded.Sarada has gotten a lot of development in the 9 chapters i have read than her mother sakura got in the entire series of naruto.The sad part about this series is that it is only gonna be 1 volume long so about 10 chapters and kishimoto mentions someone "beyond kaguya" which looks like wont be expanded upon till maybe the boruto movie.Which begs the question what was even the point of this sidestory if the villain isn't even shown.This series is just about sarada really i don't hate that i like it because this shouldn't be seen as like a naruto part 3 just a side-story to develop characters.
Story:7 I pretty much already went over this in detail.

Art:7 The art of naruto has always been good.

Character:7 This is obvious sarada's story and i like her though i do dislike the apparent nerfing of naruto in this series.

Enjoyment:7 I enjoy reading this from week to week i find the whole is sakura the mother situation hilarious and amusing.

Overall: 7 I enjoy reading this its good but its not the greatest thing ever nor is it better than the original series however its provides good entertainment.
