Rain, though it seems to be a little known manga, is actually quite a good quick read. Although I expected the typical kingdom-war kind of story, and it did follow that stereotype quite a bit, it was hilarious at some parts. The first few chapters have a bare thread plotline linking several characters in different places, but gets better as the story moves forward.
Artwise, the character designs are rather simple, but come together nicely; I personally liked it, but different people have different tastes

As a HMR story, the plot line was pretty typical--a girl dresses up as a guy and is good at fighting. The story is pretty good, up until the last few chapters, which led to a disappointing but completely predictable ending. Somehow I ended up rooting for one of the side characters (the guy who also likes the girl but is never liked back), something I've almost never done before. In other words? The main male lead (Gang Naru) was pretty flat, and his personality was boring. As a female lead though, Choi Ida was pretty good. Overall, if you're looking for
