I love this manga, despite MC is OP his emotion is quite vulnerable like superman is. This is why I like him unlike majority of OP manga nowadays.
Female character design also one of the best I saw. Sadly after the author died in early 2009, the artist left because she want to respect author as the one who create the story. So now we stucked at chapter 100 forever.
The story started simple until it became politically complex. Side character also given time to have character growth which is pretty rare todays. I wish people read this manga although another review hate it saying it's generic

As a fans, i don't mind if author milking this franchise. I even enjoy Gantz G but not this manga.
First it's setting to shogunate era contradict with event of Gantz origin which is originate from sick young girl German aristocrat who got vision to create mathematical advance to build Gantz. Another thing it's contradict which is there's no time travel or alternate universe from original series. So who build those tech for them? It's breaking the lore of Gantz itself What I imagine is they should use low tech technology to fight against those alien (Japanese youkai) Second, the story itself is rushed. I understand why some teens enjoy this because of sex and gore but the writing and arts is horrendous
I love sex too but never sacrifice writing a good story for the sake of sex Nearly every chapter we have ecchi shounen level writing where MC want to f every woman he met. What worst is there's no motive or motivation for mc that moving the plot.
