Manga: Dark Air
Rain and Dark Air are both full of action and fantasy that takes place in a medieval setting. The battles consist of magic and sword fighting. Though Dark Air has a lot non-human characters, but Rain does have talks about mythical creatures.

Manga: Vagrant Soldier Ares
Soldiers and wars and kickass swordsman. Generally speaking Rain is much more light hearted and simplistic compared to Ares, but they are both great medieval action fantasy manga in the western style.

Manga: Shiro no Koukoku Monogatari
Very similar settings. OP main character with harem set in a fantasy world. If you like one you'll most likely love the other as well.

Manga: The New Gate
Both main character are overpowered. Both have a post-medieval setting. The New Gate, however, is set in a world of virtual MMO reality. Both have sword and magic theme.

Good ol' Medieval Fantasy Action with swords and magic and all that Jazz. If you've read one and wish there was more, jump on over to the other, it will be sure to give you your fix.

Magic and Swords, what more do you need? how about humor? Got that. How about dragon slayers? Yes, got that too, both main protagonists are referred to as 'dragon slayers', (except Rain's protagonist actually DID kill a dragon.)

The two main characters are both extraordinary strong swordsman who have a hidden mythical power as well. Both mangas have battles that take place in fighting different kingdoms and have a medieval setting as well. There is magic, magical swords, and regular battle weapons.

The main characters from both series are strong swordsman who seem to be righteous, but also love to battle. The battles that take place are not just about fighting, there are strategies being used to always win or out maneuver their opponents. Both series also has magic or onmyouji techniques.

Incredibly strong main characters who have a hidden power to them and are great swordsman. Both mangas have betrayals to them and have battles that fight other kingdoms or bigger forces.

Manga: Majeh
Both of the main characters are very strong who can easily defeat any type of enemy. There are also opponents who have great skills and powers that challenge the main character as well, which provides great drama and excitement. Though they are both fantasy, Rain is more focused on magic type of techniques and Majeh is more about Ki techniques.
