Both are short manga with a similar plot: the main character gets to know better a classmate, finding out that they have some serious family issues. These manga share some other similarities and both are quite good, if you like one you will most surely like the other one too. 

Both are psychological manga that start out with the main character hating a girl that transfers into class. Both deal with depressing topics like bullying and abuse, and you're probably going to cry reading them. 

Both are really dark, depressing manga. You should definitely check out both of them if you like that kind of atmosphere. 

Both are brutally depressing manga about child abuse (emotional or physical) and stockholm syndrome. A Lollypop or a Bullet is geared towards drama while A Trail of Blood is geared towards psychological horror. 

Similar depressing atmosphere. Both manga tell stories about bullying and violence. 

The more I read it, the more I thought of Oyasumi Punpun (already recommended), and Aku no Hana. Let's just say there are really messed up things in all three of these manga. 

Same artist, different writer. Both have a large amount of angst and some similar themes. 

Both focus on female leads that are outsiders to the school they are attending in. 

Similar depressing athmosphere. If you like one you might like the other. 

Little girls that go through life-changing events, DEDEDE being much MUCH weirder and more obviously fictional. Both manga have a stay-at-home brother who does nothing but lays around and plays videogames but is shown in a very positive light and helps his sister and her friend go through this troubling time. 

both stories focus around the dark side of school life that has a female mc in it, especially the bullying that happens throuhgout the story. 

-SPOILERS FOR SATOUGASHI NO DANGAN WA- Sexual abuse, both show the ways that people go through having their bodies stolen from them. A Lollypop or a Bullet is more of an outside perspective but that makes it all the more meaningful when it comes together, Hibari no Asa is through the eyes of that little girl. Two little girls dealing with the same trauma in different ways. Safe to say both made me cry really hard 

Shounen manga about tragedies happening, and mainly two main characters are the focus of the storyline, but one tries to hide it or silence the facts by putting on a happy face. The story unfolds and we can see injustice, violence and bullying take form. 

- main characters are emotionally and physically abused - beautiful art - unique characters, you become invested in - both stories begin off light but gradually become darker and darker - violent and bloody - philosophical and psychological - deep literary allusions of classic books and poems - short intellectual reads - tragedy * S.K is Yaoi while 'Lollipop or Bullet' focuses on the friendship/possible romance of 2 young girls. 

There are similarities in the art, and both manga feature a dark story (though Blue Friend is a LOT lighter than Satou Kashi no Dangan wa Uchikenai). Both feature two girls that inevitably become involved with each other. The only difference is, Blue Friend is actually Shoujo-ai.  

The path to adulthood is often harsh and requires the sacrifice of dreams and innocence. Are children really able to do this all alone? 

Really depressing stories about bullying and violence. 

Both are sad stories about the relationship between two girls. Despite the different settings (rural and sci-fi) and themes, both have a similar depressing feel 

Both stories revolve around touchy themes like abuse especially bullying at school and both share a pretty sad and somber story tone throughout.
