Both have a witty and optimistic humor, with funny and action-filled fights, captivating characters and of course... DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES WITH ONE PUNCH! 

Main character suddenly gets demon powers and dragged into a world of demons. The powers they get are from an insanely strong demons feared by the other characters and demons. Both set in a form of Japan with an organisation set up to get rid of those monsters. 

Both Manga don't necessarily do something new, but will draw you in anyways through their highly fast paced action, intriguing storyline, extremely likeable characters and the genuine level of heart felt in every aspect of the manga. 

Captures a similar feel to early AoT before it tried to get philosophical. It definitely takes some inspiration but not similar enough to call it a knock-off by any means. It currently a very fun action title. 

Very similar feel with an organisation built around destroying villains/kaiju. Main characters both start off extremely weak and quickly get a broken power. 

Similar premise of the MC becoming the host for an enemy entity and trying to hide it, similar style of fights and very intensive action, similar idea of the main cast being in a class and getting stronger together 

Aliens Area is an alien version of Kaijuu 8-gou pretty much. It isn't play for laughs as much, but it also doesn't take itself too seriously. I have read very little of both manga, but the basis of the story is very similar I feel. I finished chapter 4 and there is 0 fan service in the manga so far, I hate fan service so I greatly appreciate its absence in this manga. 

Gantz and Kaiju #8 share some similarities with their general premise: -Monster tech in the form of power suits and weapons = Alien tech in the form of power suits and weapons. -Overwhelmingly powerful monsters that are large-scale threats = Overwhelmingly powerful aliens that are large-scale threats. -MC has a childhood friend who he wants to be like and stand alongside = MC has a childhood friend who he eventually wants to be like and stand alongside. -MC can't risk revealing his secret power = MC can't risk revealing his secret alien hunting sprees. 

Both World Trigger and Kaijuu nr.8 have a strong sci-fi-esque ambience, and if you're into that aesthetic, I recommend checking out either series! But that is not the only similarity! In both cases, the city is in constant danger from monsters appearing, and the protagonists are specialized in defending the city. Well, that's a strong similarity! But wait, it gets even stronger: while the standard weapons depend on the individual's abilities and creativity, there are some rare personalized weapons, that require the user's compatibility and that are made from other people's sacrifices. So, if any of those aspects captivated you in one series, you might enjoy it in the other title as well! read more

Two people with a non-human part of themselves, being threatened by official crime countering instances. They join the fights from the 'good' side even though they are being kept under close watch because they are dangerous and powerful beings. 

Both have almost identical stories, the main character is a monster with transforming powers, turns into a nonhuman demon to kill other demons, both MCs transform into devil kaiju, both kill devils kaijus, 

Both are about guys who work in the "demon extinguishing squad", but kaijuu is kind of like Attack on titan because he becomes a demon, and the monsters randomly spawn, and kill people, and are super hard to kill, see where im going. 

Great Art, main character transformation, tons of style, fighting action manga 

They're both hype. 

Set in worlds devastated by constant monster invasions. The main characters were "possessed" by a monster, became one, and gained world-destroying power. Join monster extermination organizations and get abused by the higher-ups because of their monster status. Comparatively, RaiRaiRai is a less edgy, more comedic, and female MC battle shounen.  

They both have main characters who don't want to be the best of the best - Both series contain supernatural monsters (kaiju and Phantoms) and exorcising so called monsters - Both titles can delve into some pretty dark stuff and have a similar vibe - both title have some supernatural stuff 

The story of Owari no Seraph is pretty similar 

Hey you! Yes you! Do you like a manga that the main character is a half human? Do you like a manga that the main character that can transform into a Tokusatsu-like superhero? Do you like a manga that full of action and gore? Then, look no further than these manga. Full of humor, action and gore 

The main character was transformed into a humanoid monster through an unidentified parasite/organism. He is an ordinary guy with a bad job but he helps the society in which he lives. Now he has to learn to use his powers to survive and protect himself from enemies. 

Fighting Monsters of different designs in modern times with different superpowers/tech 

Very similar in terms of plot -the mc of uchuu kyoudai got left behind by his younger brother and the mc of kaiju #8 got left behind by his childhood friend -having to pass an exam before getting hired -they got into their dream jobs very late Has a general theme of "It's never too late" and I can totally see Hirata Hiroaki voicing Kafka 

Just like in this manga, the main character is able to transform into a kaijuu, and he also joins the defense forces. Some plot paths overlap due to the same setting and idea. Against the background of "Kaijuu 8-gou", I consider" Ziga " an undeservedly forgotten work. 

Half human, over powered main character wants to protect his love from the dangerous species. Joined a special organization with insane technology and members. Also, a little bit of comedy.  

Monsters, mysterious powers bestowed on very powerful protagonist, excellent artwork, gripping story. 

Both MC's are middle aged men chasing their dream jobs while lacking confidence. Both are shounen action series.
