STORY

Some would say that the beginning of the story moves quickly and I'd be one to agree. However, I don't believe this was an accident by the writers. The premise of the story is a flip on the harem genre, so it makes sense that the writer sped things up to an almost astronomical speed, because a normal harem story would take volumes for the character to even confess their feelings if at all. It was also funny to see this so it being a comedy fits perfectly.

It was refreshing to see a character who decides what he wants and isn't afraid to speak ... his mind.

The main character is refreshing. He's bold and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.

The main girl is a generic wifu, but her rival is where things become truly interesting. She's also very bold and is usually moving just as fast as the lead character. It's not something you see too much in a rival.

Such a refreshing read. It's a comedy so just enjoy the ride!

Make no mistake—Kanojo mo Kanojo is a series that’ll deter one’s amount of brain cells the more he or she consumes content of it (be it the series itself, a shitpost, or even a review). I suppose that it’s simply inevitable that any critical thought on the series would state a fair amount of flaws. Really, it’s a dumpster fire. However, it is also a series that is not meant to be consumed seriously overall. Thus, even if not constructive, I shall spout “fire” about Kanojo mo Kanojo, as it is a manga that I adore to the core.

Kanojo mo Kanojo is quite the ... eccentric series thematically; its characters are schizophrenic—especially the main girls—and the many ridiculously immense stupid happenings within the plot blow quite the whiplash. This only accumulates as the manga progresses; most of the time such is executed comically, but sometimes it’s also done in a slightly much more serious tone in (obviously) more significant scenes that could alter the story’s trajectory. I don’t exactly consider this as a bad aspect of Kanojo mo Kanojo, as I wouldn’t even assess it seriously in its entirety, since I think it's much more proficient in its comedy than its drama, though such is a trait I often expect whenever consuming a comedy or harem anime or manga. Anyhow, in turn, you’ll either love or hate (most likely individually) the characters.

Each one of the characters in this series acts in varying degrees of impulsivity, the most tantamount to the summits of such being the main character, Naoya, whose defining trait is that he’s insanely straightforward and, as stated by his first girlfriend SakiSaki, someone who “somehow always gets what he wants.” He’s also the character who yells the most, which I suppose could cause a bundle of readers to tune out or even loathe his character. But, surprisingly (not!), every other character in this series is just as brain dead as Sir Straightforward, and they all worsen in intelligence as the series progresses. As I wrote a paragraph ago, the most schizophrenic elements are found in the main girls: SakiSaki’s temper and ambiguousness, Nagisa’s tenderness and consideration, Mirika’s fiery determination, and Shino’s (Kino’s) shrewdness all amalgamate to tropey brain damage—only that this time it exceeds in such. Yet, Kanojo mo Kanojo endlessly entertains me with its absurdity founded in its inability to hardly take itself seriously. The characters are so immensely hysterical in most of what they do that it’s hard to ever catch any substance of rationality. It’s a sense of the cast’s chemistry that utterly engages me, and it continuously drives its momentum to sheer entertainment, resulting in nothing but my succumb to it.

The humor in Kanojo mo Kanojo never disappoints in consistency. It mainly constitutes overboard surreal, slapstick comedy (who would’ve guessed that it had such a unique comedic structure, huh) that heavily exaggerates itself. Comedy (in this case being surreal) is a highly subjective genre, and slapstick is quite hit-or-miss. A great handful of the comedy in Kanojo mo Kanojo consists of the characters’ degeneracy as they slowly lose any faint sound thought throughout their spiral of adapting or opposing to the polygamous relationship instigated by Sir Straightforward. A character’s intrinsic nature engulfs their sanity, and then they proceed to follow just that, causing the many antics the reader will experience and possibly be amused or dismayed by. Frankly, I’m of the former. It’s pure delirium, regardless of however formulaic, that continuously bewilders me each panel. Even if a scene doesn’t exactly make me laugh, I’d be lying if I ever said I was never stimulated by it. It’s genuinely nonsensical and electrifying in that sense, and I’d gladly take it.

To amplify such lunacy, Hiroyuki (the mangaka) incorporates a fair amount of simplistic dynamic effects (e.g., “speed lines'' most noticeable whenever SakiSaki punches Naoya) to evoke the sheer momentum within the most comical scenes in the story, while soft additions (e.g., "love bubbles" in romantic scenes) are employed in delicate scenes so as to illustrate a character’s warmth. All of this is standard practice in manga technicalities, but Hiroyuki utilizes such at just the right number of doses when most relevant or appropriate. I also think that Hiroyuki showcases his best character designs in Kanojo mo Kanojo, as each one of them sufficiently expresses the defining qualities of the character. Sometimes the background of Kanojo mo Kanojo, especially in the two-page spreads, arouse jarring juxtapositions between it and the scene’s subjects, though such isn’t executed so horrendously that it would make me dislike it. I actually like it and find it endearing. The art of Kanojo mo Kanojo isn’t anything fresh or the like, but it is outstanding in what it attempts to achieve, and such is perfectly suitable for its narrative.

Moreover, lying under the multi-layered comedic structure is the series’ baffling tackling of polygamy. While Naoya simply wishes to sustain a satisfying polygamous relationship with his girlfriends, the rest of his harem feel conflicted in various ways. Such an unorthodox concept in romance fiction isn’t addressed the best here, noticeable as the characters’ approach to such is hardly constant nor concrete. However, something I think it tackles adequately is the character dynamics, often questioning how each one of them feels about their relationships with others. The author understands that this varies between each character and often uses it within the plot. Romance is a topic that simply isn’t exclusive to a single variety. It’s diverse, and, despite it being comically displayed here, can concoct a delightful narrative. The absurdities within the spectrum of infatuation and love conceived aflutter in each one of their arbitrary minds, so fragile yet firm, so instantaneous yet gradual, so ambivalent yet acute.

Nonetheless, Kanojo mo Kanojo seems oblivious in one or two aspects, but I, at the very least, enjoyed reading it. One could perhaps say that I’m simply overshadowing a value over another, but Kanojo mo Kanojo is a story that I believe hardly offers anything notably valuable thematically. Rather, its greatest strength is its direction for amusement. If even something substandard can unironically pleasure, whether guiltily or not, its consumer, it at least deserves commendation for such. Thus, once again, I indulge myself in escapism, and I find it charming. Schizo Kino Kiryuu/10.

To summarize the manga it is just a guy two timing and then proceeding to create a harem.

Story:
There is a story and even though I personally enjoyed it a lot its very simple and its just 'meet girl' and then proceeding with 'hold back until can't ' and then 'date girl'. Though its simple it can still be enjoyable and its basically breaking a taboo so its got some of that spicyness in it.

Art:
Not being an action manga theres no big boy action panels but what there is there is some clean looking characters with clean backgrounds as you'd expect from this type of ... manga. but this manga comes in big with some of the important panels and the first thing that came to my mind for the background art is oyasumi punpun. the background is beautifully drawn and the characters get some extra shading and details.

Character:
I like all the characters. The protag is a very straight forward guy who doesn't lie and though its nothing special and some people might not like it I think this type of personality isn't bad and its fine for the story. The girls are cute and thats it. (My favorite being Nagisa)

Enjoyment and Overall:
for me its a ten. I enjoyed every moment and its something spicy... but i'll give it a nine cause its not for everyone and also cause its kind of a guilty pleasure.

Seems that person reviewing this this manga before me stopped reading just before developments concerning all the faults he/she described. Not that scoring it as 1 is anything different that simple score bombing or unexplainable hate, but to make this a proper review and not a comment on what someone else had written, allow me to tell you my feelings about newest Hiroyuki manga (and about quick anime - Hiroyuki has quite a lot of his works animated already, If I had to guess, it probably made talks about new series much faster)

I'm longstanding fan of Hiroyuki works, I started with Assistant-san to Mangaka-san ... to, then was Aho-girl, then I learned about older Doujin-work and his own doujin works (jam it in etc.), and I have to say, Kanojo mo Kanojo is his best manga to date. It's grown up, no longer infested by juvenile storytelling that his earlier works had, and at the same time it keeps his light, incredible pen for comedy that transforms scenes that in other mangas would be cringy, into something that makes me laugh out loud. Everything of course with healthy dose of moderate perversion and stupidity, that again in somehow works, and makes it very enjoyable.

All problems my predecessor mentioned - this manga is aware of them. It's supposed to be like this. It is, silly, funny, lighthearted comedy with interesting but exaggerated for comedic effect characters, that makes you feel good while reading it. I could say that it's hard to demand deep engaging plot from stories like that, but Hiroyuki surprised me with some plot-twists, subverted tropes, how complex, self-aware and well written it is, and how somehow plot always keeps coherent and interesting no matter what's happening.

For me Kanojo mo Kanojo is testament to Hiroyuki growth as an author in every aspect. Especially his storytelling and plot devising skills, but his art also got better than before. 9/10 and I hope that his next work, or even better this work after some more chapters will be able to get 10/10

I might not be someone qualified to write a review but I have read or watched all-around 20 harem or romance shows and this is the first one that really struck me because it just ignores all cliche tropes and has 0 bullshit just to make a guilty pleasure show that resonates deeply. The comedy is the shining point of the show and the art of the characters all look amazing. The story really isn't special at all and so are the characters they are better than average but nothing more. Overall I've never had this much fun reading a Manga ever before and so ... this is the first Manga Im gonna give a 10 rating.

Maybe the dumbest manga anybody has ever made, and I love it so much.

Here's the trick to this manga - it's dumb, and it knows it's dumb. That's the point. It's making fun of romcoms by taking everything to absolute extreme.

I've never been a huge fan of stereotypical "manga humor." A lot of it seems to be the same basic formulas - "a character says something that sounds suggestive, but isn't," "a female character gets mad and hurts a male character for being a pervert," "the female character trips and falls boobs-first on the male character." etc, etc.

And the mangaka of Kanojo Mo Kanojo ... isn't a big fan of those tropes either, which is why he subverts every one of them (and many more), by cranking them up to absurd levels.

Kanojo Mo Kanojo is one of the only manga that has made me laugh out loud in almost every issue. It's completely ridiculous. Every character is always screaming, every situation is stupid and absurd but taken completely seriously by the characters, the entire premise is ridiculous.

This manga is a romcom which does what most other romcoms fail to do, which is making a lighthearted story.

Romantic Comedies were made with the specific two genre's in mind so when reading a "Romantic Comedy" people would expect to read a lighthearted comedy with a mix of romance or the other way around. Now to the explanation of the scores.

Story is not that deep and should be that way given my previous statement and because there was no drama in the tags. Don't force drama where it should not even exist.

Art, generic at best not that new or particularly stand out.

Character, again generic, does ... not create anything new in the genre.

Enjoyment though is something is honestly a 10, I dunno about other people but reading a lighthearted comedy without worry of dark drama in the background especially when it wasn't even to be expected. I mean twist are good here and there but when a story is not aiming for thing like drama etc. why even add it?

Overall, a story does not need to have a manga or any form of entertainment does not need a big story or great dramatic twist to make it great. As long as it does what it aims to do then it is enjoyable.

Will recommend to people who just want to enjoy a lighthearted story, if you want complex stories with many twist and turns just don't search romcom and search drama instead. Don't look for things in places where it obviously wouldn't be in - just saying

Kanojo mo Kanojo is a nice comedy manga that bases its premise on the fact that the main character is two-timing. While I personally prefer more serious romcoms that delve into deep stories and intricate characters, taking a break from those and reading a nice comedy is nice as well.

The main character is an absolute parody of the classic harem protagonist and is as bland as a character can be, although that is the case, his bluntness is so stupid that it creates hilarious interactions with the other characters.

But it appalls me how many people give such low ratings on this manga, It isn't supposed to be story-driven, nor have much depth to the characters. It's just nice fun and stupid comedy, which if you take this manga for what it is, it does well at.

While this might not be on par with the likes of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, it is still a decent read if you just want a nice comedy.

*Side note* I read this after Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo which I personally was not much of a fan of (I rated it 4) despite having a somewhat similar premise.

Kanojo mo Kanojo is harem manga to end all harem mangas.

The harem genre is an old genre with well established tropes. It's a great springboard for having some interesting writing, fun and playful characters to play off each other, and even a little self-insert fantasy to glean some guilty pleasure from.

But most harem mangas don't ask the tough questions that plague the genre. What are the logistics of upkeeping a harem? What kind of crazy people would allow themselves be involved in a harem? How honest should you be with each other? How would managing a harem house even look like? Who pays the ... bills? Where are the parents.

Kanojo mo Kanojo asks those tough questions. It looks into the comedic, hentai-logic insanity that is the harem abyss. This is no simple self-insert fantasy. Yet like a perpetual-motion trainwreck, Kanojo mo Kanojo has the momentum to keep me engaged with every release.

Since this manga received an anime adaptation, I decided to make a review for this one. I have read until chapter 36. (I won't put spoilers as much as possible)

The title "Kanojo mo Kanojo" basically means "She is also my Girlfriend"

Overall, this manga is full of comedy. So while reading this, please don't think if it's realistic or no. What makes this manga interesting are the characters, story and the jokes/comedy of it. I recommend this anime to people who likes comedy or rom-com mangas.

First, lets talk about the story. I rate it 8/10.
The story is ... unique for me, and the backstory/stories of the heroines were, plus it's pretty funny so I rate it 8 for now. it might change in the future chapters. Also, how the author uses the concept "Neo Updating Rom-Com" are really good.

Next, lets talk about the Characters. I rate it 10/10.
The main characters are stupid in different ways. They are also pretty unique. Plus the Heroines are really cute. Let me describe them. These characters makes the story more interesting and funny. So I rate it 10 as of now.

・MC/Naoya - He is honest and straightforward person. (in good and bad way) He is stupid, like he literally asked his girlfriend if he can do two timing.
・Saki Saki - Tsundere and hyper heroine. First GF of the MC. She is stupid like the girl in 'Aho Girl' the only thing that differentiate them are that Saki Saki can feel the embarassment. FYI "Saki Saki" is her real name.
・Minase Nagisa - Brave, Humble and Hard worker heroine. 2nd GF. She is brave because she confessed to the MC, even though he already have a GF. She is humble because she mostly doesn't care about herself. She is hard worker, since she literally work hard to achieve her goal. She is stupid in studies, even though she studies/work hard she still fail.
・Mirisa - Tsundere, Youtuber heroine. She is more Tsundere than Saki Saki. She is also stupid like the other main characters.
・Shino - Friend of Saki Saki. She disagree to the two timing. as of now she is just a supporting heroine, but lets see...

Art, I rate it 8/10.

I really enjoy it, since it makes me laugh always. It make sense, since the author of this is also the same author of "Aho Girl" which is a comedy manga/anime.

Why i put fair score because when i first readed 1 chapter few month ago until the chapter 62 i already know how this story goes as i expected, honeslty what i dislike about it, the mc naoya have the two timing girlfriend and other girlfriends..for me it seem uncomfortable feel because the harem genre (not all harem genre are bad but certain good btw not a fan). Why i ... gave a fair score because the Rom comedy thats all, how the mc try to keep relationship his first GF Saki and the other. In the mean time there are funny moment in each chapter thats make make a good point, about the romentic side yes it have but you can expect how it goes.

why i give a good score because the main root in this story are the naouya, what i like about him...he straightfoward, honest in relationhsip, brave to outspeak what in his mind even it hurt his GF but he managed to fix the relatinship with his all GF and his main GF Saki but in the same time we as a reader also feel angry because his mentality not loyal his the only true GF. His suppose to be gentlemen about his first GF Saki and try be loyal maybe in the future whose know.

So I feel a weird need to defend this manga as the reviews i am seeing are giving it some very undeserved hate.

If you are reading this manga seriously, or taking it seriously as you would say; Akira or a serious romance, then you are reading it wrong. Kanojo mo Kanojo is meant to be taken as a light hearted, trashy (not in a bad way) comedy romance harem.

To avoid too many spoilers i want to avoid speaking about the characters as much as i can. However, i will say that there is one of the best Tsunderes in here that i have ever seen ... in the form of Saki. On top of this, Naoya is the "oblivious plain guy" that has been an anime/manga trope for a long time and he is cranked up to 11 but with actual gumption and purpose and in all honesty: pretty well written as he has his core values that he sticks to and isnt just a blank oblivious slate.

The story is a simple one: Guy has a girlfriend (surprisingly the childhood friend) and then gets confessed to by another cute girl. His answer to this conundrum? Why not just have two girlfriends?
The story is a simple one but its played very tongue in cheek and has provided me with many laughs and it does quite often pull the rug from under your feet with the characters reactions and interactions with eachother. In all honesty, i feel as if it does a very good job in subverting normal tropes and makes them funny in a new way.


I am certainly enjoying this manga and will buy the volumes if they ever are released in English and will be watching the anime when it is released in July 2021., so it certainly gets my recommendation as a darn good easygoing laugh.

All I can say about this manga is...there is a lot of yelling throughout the story...every little bit of information, no matter how minute and irrelevant...it just had to be yelled out to get the point across.

Story (5) - There's nothing much to comment on the story, in my opinion it's fine the way it is, most people would get turned off by seeing a pretty low rating, but honestly it's not all that bad. The whole time it feels like I'm reading a 4-koma manga instead of a proper manga. What makes Kanojo mo Kanojo appealing isn't about how complex the story is or ... how amazing the visuals are, it's appealing because of ridiculous the plot is, bruh, there isn't one if imma be honest. The whole time, I'm just laughing my ass off, that's how ridiculous and entertaining it is. What I find unamusing was the manga's concept as a whole entity. Mind you, this was also written by the same author of Aho Girl (and the anime about a mangaka assitant that I can't seem to recall), and this shares some similarities (characters, jokes, plot) with one another. So if you've watched or read Aho Girl, then this title isn't much different from the former.

Art (6) - Same as what I said earlier, same author/artist, same style. Nothing new, nothing mind blowing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The art is decent, that's it.

Characters (7) - I had fun following the characters, the author seemed to get the gap moe concept down and it made the characters all the more interesting. Naoya, Saki and Nagisa, all had really contrasting personalities from one another, and they also had contradicting personalities. You just can't seem to expect when a character will shed it's true skin and unleash hell to the readers. It's chaotic but very entertaining. Though I don't seem to understand why authors feel the need to make really "dense but somehow lucky with the girls" type of guy, it's a cliche that's been plaguing other manga's as well. Given the circumstance, this time Naoya's personality seemed to fit the gap moe trend of the other characters, however at times, it gets pretty annoying, completely ruining the initial fun factor.

Enjoyment (9) - This is just a personal take on the manga. You don't have to like this manga or even read it. I had a great time reading through Kanojo mo Kanojo. The jokes aren't boring and it doesn't seem to end just there, each chapter and volume just seems to bring out something new from the character and their daily shenanigans.

Overall, I gave this manga a solid 6/10. A decent work and perfect for relieving some that pent up stress.

If the story of this manga was entirely focused on the antics of our main character and his harem and the hilarity that comes with that. I would probably give this a 7. The drama within is purposeful and does exist for a good cause, but it drags on for too long and it takes away from what drew me to the manga in the first place. Coupled with the fact that the manga ended shortly after the last big drama arc, I would say that the story as a whole is ruined by drama. This manga deserved a few more chapters ... or probably a spin-off one shot manga that occurs afterwards in a similar vein to Aho Girl, written and illustrated by the same author, which had an abrupt ending but got a small doujinshi that was mostly there for fanservice (though it tied up a loose end).

Characters - 10
The main characters are a bunch of lovable dorks.

Naoya, the main character is straight forward and honest to a fault. If you've read the authors other work, Aho girl, He is aho girl copy pasted, but as a guy, slightly more intelligent, and extremely committed to making his girlfriend(s) happy while remaining true to his heart. He does like bananas though. This character doesn't have a lot of depth or insecurities and is static throughout the series though it's not really a problem since his personality works so well with the other girls.

Saki Saki is a character so good you say her name twice. She is Naoya's first girlfriend and like Naoya, she is unafraid to speak her mind and... is also a bit of an idiot. She and Naoya have such good chemistry and the manga could have just have been these two characters doing stupid things. I think she has the most growth out of any character in the series and I think it's a very valid argument to say that this manga is HER story about Naoya collecting girls for HER harem.

Nagisa is the first addition to Sa- I mean - Naoya's harem. She is the moe girl in the series. She has a meek personality, is generally clumsy and incompetent, but on the surface appears to be relatively intelligent. Appears to be. Not is. I won't say anymore to avoid spoilers, but she is great. She is very similar to another character in Aho girl, Sakaya, but she has a bit more of a backbone.

Rika is honestly the only girl I didn't really like. She is a girl that wants to fully capture Naoya's heart and be the only one for him, thereby breaking Naoya's idyllic polygamous life. I don't think her character has a ton of depth but she also brings drama and levity at the same time since she fills the rich girl that does crazy things archetype. She has good moments and she has great interactions with Shino in particular, but I also think that she didn't need to be a main girl. I probably don't like her very much since her direct involvement in the last arc has a ton of drama in it and just isn't funny or heartwarming and kinda makes the ending a lot weaker overall.

Shino is Saki Saki's best friend. She has a functioning brain and recognizes the absolute absurdity of the situation and is against Sa- Naoya's polygamous ways. Unfortunately she is way in over her head. She is great.

I believe that the story could have probably had one more girl or a guy that Naoya could bro it up with if I were to write this story, but that is neither here nor there.

The art is cute and expressive. I really appreciate characters wearing all sorts of cloth since a lot of the action is in a more casual setting as opposed to school and I think the author has a great taste in fashion. It never tries to do something particularly unique nor does it need too. I do think the talents of the author-artist are best shown in Aho Girl and I do think the author-artist could do a lot more, but that's also neither here nor there.

Kanojo mo Kanojo succeeds as a romcom as it consistently delivers laughter in almost every chapter. The series works due to the interactions of the main characters with each other and the absurd situations they find themselves in, and the underlying tension that lurks beneath every harem story.

The whole thing starts because the main character, Naoya, is straightforward and sincere to the point that an ICBM has less impact when it hits a wall. After confessing to his childhood friend Saki every month for the last ten years, he has finally gotten her (always was going to be given but she felt shy) consent to ... a relationship. Then the first wrench is thrown in when Nagisa confesses to Naoya, revealing how dedicated she was to that moment. Being a sucker for hard work and sincerity, Naoya falls for her, and rather than engage in infidelity or secrecy, goes directly to Saki and asks for her permission to two-time her. He gets punched in the face, but Naoya manages to overcome her objection via that same straightforward sincerity that made Saki and Nagisa fall for him in the first place.

Does it end at two-timing? ....no. The whole thing is over the top comedy, and it being limited to just two would limit the quantity of jokes, which follow a fairly reliable formula. Under the thick layer of comedy, the manga is surprisingly considerate of the characters and their feelings. Saki is, both in her eyes and those of Naoya and the others, the "legal wife" here: this entire situation continues at her say-so and hers alone. She can at any time terminate it and a handful of time threatens it to force the other girls to work harder for the benefit of the entire harem. Nagisa, the first girl added, is so considerate and tender that despite the situation, Saki instantly befriends her. Really, if Nagisa had not been the first girl, the whole situation may never have occurred. The other two, Rika and Shino, have competing goals: Rika wants to destroy the harem and dethrone Saki, taking Naoya for herself alone, while Saki's best friend Shino wants to either destroy the harem for the mutual benefit of Saki and herself or (and only with Saki's express permission and blessing) join as Naoya's third girlfriend.

With these contradictory motives, there also comes the problem of not being someone's number one. Late in the manga, the frustration the girls have quietly expressed is thrust out into the open, as the problem in a harem is that time is not infinite, each one has a limited amount of time to be Naoya's focus of attention, and the girls must sit on the sidelines when someone else is the focus of all Naoya's attention and not inconsiderable affection. Counter-intuitively, the girls develop friendships and relationships outside of the one they form revolving around Naoya - while he is the center spoke, they all connect to each other as well, so the entire relationship also means being thoughtful and considerate of your friends who happen to share your boyfriend.

Make no mistake, this is first and foremost a romcom. It's about the humor, but there are moments of tension and drama to prevent it from becoming rote. I recommend reading it, as it's a fun way to enjoy yourself with a silly read.

The concept is definitely something that could be used for a great series, a shame that it wasn’t.

The story has nothing in it that makes it interesting or engaging, the characters are bland and the male MC is stubborn, but the way he is stubborn doesn’t inspire admiration, but instead just feels overly obnoxious and annoying.

The two female MCs also lack depth in their personality, and the overall artstyle fails to show any hint of “cuteness” in the girlfriends.

It was boring but aside from the MC, there wasn’t anything that makes me hate the characters or story, hence why it gets at least a ... 3.

Look, I really wanted to like this manga. I wanted a light comedy about trio in messed up romantic relationship. Sadly, the series has really strayed from the comedic tone. I'm not marking this as a spoiler, since I won't be talking about any specifics of the plot not included in the description and on the covers.

Story's tone - 1/10
Series blends the comedy and drama in worst possible way, where gags undermine emotional development and long, drawing out emotional arcs are sabotaging the comedy. The biggest problem of the story is that it's the fundamentally the story of girl pressured into relationship with a guy, ... who then pressured her into allowing him to brazenly cheat on her. Sakisaki is so pitiful that I couldn't enjoy the story as a comedy.

Art - 7/10
Art is unsurprisingly the strongest element of this manga. It's solid, it's distinct, girls are cute and sexy, dude is handsome. I don't have anything else to say, except that the school uniforms design isn't appealing, since they look too cosplay-like in series with otherwise more realistic approach to fashion.

Characters - 5/10
Characters should be distinct, but the fact that we have 3 girls whose main source of attraction to a guy is his pigheaded zeal and one that was swayed by that zeal in a first place is actively hurting the story. The manga avoids pitfall of having all the cool/unique girls falling for the guy who's just "nice" by having them fall for overzealous egoistic bastard unable to take a step back. Sadly, this also means that we have four girls orbiting around blatant polygamous womanizer with a very flimsy reasons for not simply ditching him on the spot. No matter how many times the story lampshades this for a joke or how many times one of them declares that they will become his one and only girlfriend, the fact that they are still pinning for a guy who is, by his own admission, horribly selfish and unable to provide them true intimacy still stands.

Plot - 4/10
The less is said about the plot the better. Story quickly devolves into prolonged romance arcs that still don't advance the relationships properly, since the male actually believes that he can show the same level of care to all of the girls at the same time, all the time.

At first I thought it was an immoral premise, but when I saw how serious Naoya was about dating girls, I thought otherwise. This girl seems to be the most outgoing and generally unattractive, but she actually has a lot of girly parts. That's the girl named Milica, and I love Milica, even though she's a little annoying Ever since she was little, Naoya kept confessing to Saki Saki didn't hate Naoya, but she was shy and avoided him Saki is pleasantly savvy, and in the end, she accepts Naoya. Nagisa can't study well, but she's the type who works hard at everything and is ... cute Shino is the calmest but has many touching scenes in volume 10 This manga is a very bright, not muddy, refreshing harem manga, so if you are interested in it, why not give it a look? - Slice of Life...it just follow the characters routine, but it's so boring (and I love SOL but this sucks)
- Harem...yeah ok, but it would have been better to focus only on the two girls

The premise intrigued, it had potential, it could have been a decent story, but the more we go on, the less we have, 0 developments, it can be safely said that everything begins and ends in the first 5 chapters. The author just add new juice(girl) to the mix...but he just fill(er) it.

The only good thing of this manga, the drawing are good, clean lines and a not bad characters design. I appreciated that the mangaka didn't exaggerate with the (A Side) of the girls. However, the art itself isn't so good to drive me continue this manga.

As i said, the characters have a good design, but NO personality. Saying "personality" I don't argue the choice of the girls to accept the two-time thing (is a manga and the two time thing was the main plot, so is stupid to argue it), I talk about the characterization of the girls, they accept and do everything for him, like a bot. Maybe if they really were androids the plot would have been more interesting.
The MC is terrible, at first I appreciated his sincerity, he says what he thinks without hiding, but damn, he says and do the same thing of the first chapter but most of all...what the heck he always yells.

So in the end I can't recommend this manga. It's a waste of time both for those new to reading manga and for those who want to read something comic. There are thousands of manga and tons better than this.
