| I can't say that I'm too optimistic about the adaptation. It's a highly rated visual novel -- but it's also incredibly long [each individual novel is classified as at least 10 hour reads, the first being a 50 hour+ one; there are three novels, two of which have been released]; can't expect a faithful adaptation, just one with the characters. Look forward to the pretty animation if it's picked up by a decent studio -- the composer for the work also did the soundtrack to Koi Senkyo to Chocolate. Probably not possible to realistically create a meaningful work though. CLANNAD's classified as a long visual novel. That took two seasons to adapt. If we were to parallel this work with CLANNAD, it would take 2 seasons, 24 episodes each to adapt the first novel, followed by 12 episodes for the second, and presumably, another 12/24 for the unreleased third [being overly simplistic here]. |

| Patch for the VN will probably be released around May. And it's definitely not a generic harem, I can tell you that much. I'm not sure how the anime will turn out, but the VN is anything but generic harem stuff. |

| All people who read crappy description on ANN and think it would be a generic harem — sorry to disappoint you. This VN has one of best characters(especially male lead: he is not your generic wimp but clever, ironical and cool guy who is not afraid of girls). First part of the story has a perfect comedy while later there are a lot of great action and psychological plot. |

| Sadly, the original almost always tends to be like 100 times better than the adaptation so don't get your hopes too high, IMO. Although people are going to be at first, like, "Oh, look the VN is good so the adaptation must be too, I'm not going to miss it." and then get their hopes entirely crushed. I, for one, know that feeling better than anybody else. That's why I don't want to see G-Senjou no Maou adaptation (I have played the VN). I'm fairly certain they'd miss some of the good parts and consequently the anime would became unwatchable. The same situation with MajiKoi, I guess (it has its adaptation and is trash). No H scenes, of course. |

| It's better to have hopes than be banal saying "they'll butch it once more". There are a lot of good or at least decent VN adaptations. Less than bad one but still. It's just a typical fanboyish whining "the book is always better". Stop comparing and try to enjoy it for once. |

It amuses me how people who apparently know nothing about visual novels/eroge seem to automatically think this will be a fan service fest or something. I can't guarantee the anime won't turn out like that, but from what I know of the source material it isn't like that at all. |
