| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh my, website announces this as Chuunibyou Episode 1, MAL gives Pre-airing date as official airing date again, Lite is set as NYA with airing date set for next year and doesn't show up on search result list. In short: Nobody knows when they have been watching what anime and when what will air. With the airing of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga shitai! Lite I already found the most confusing anime of this year even before the first episode of the real show is out. And ignoring the fact that MAL tells me it was impossible to set this show as anything else then "Plan to watch", 48 people DID set as something else. Well, setting aside the usual MAL-chaos with wrong and misleading airing dates, let's move on to the actual content of the episode at hand. My first impression: If the real show is like the Lite episode, I can understand why people say it will have a similar reception to K-On! Judging by the trailer I saw at the Comiket which made me want to see this, it will be a bit heavier than the Light Music Club, but looking at the characters it will be MOE OVERLOAD again. The story of this episode was lite indeed, but regardless of that, it was cute and funny. I think I will like this show. Opening and ending were good, too, but a little long for a short series. They took about the same time as the actual episode... |

| I think the ED is a little...lazy(?) for KyoAni. I think it is cute and all, but I have been spoiled by Hyouka and K-ON and Suzumiya Haruhi. Just seeing a chibi girl dance around seems really low key now. |

I doubt it would look "lazy" when October 4 comes around xD On topic, the ED was very moe :) The gags in the short were pretty funny and entertaining. |

| Takanashi was very cute... though she reminded me of Mei with her eyepatch and all. Ep looks good though I'll have to watch the anime to decide cos the synopsis is totally different from what I expected. |

| When I first saw this ep in KyoAni channel, it gave me an impression of a cliche Anime. But I don't intend to judge the whole series base on this little preview of what we are going to see. I expect a lot more. Like 100x more because it's KyoAni. About the episode, Rikka ( her clumsiness is so Hirasawa Yui like!!! ) so moe. HHHHHHNNNNNNGGGGG. KyoAni never fails to make a lovable character. Hilarious episode overall. I wish there will be a LOT of romance in the main series. |

These online only shorts will be uploaded on the KyoAni channel before each actual anime episode airs on TV. They are similar to short specials you would see bundled with BDs/DVDs. |

| If these Lites are any indication of what the show in general will be like, then Yuuta is gonna have his hands full with Rikka (who is both adorably cute and clumsy as heck). I dig the art style. Can't say much for the animation, but some parts (in particularly the part where Rikka tried catching the ball with her umbrella) show potential, and I assume they're saving it all for the main show anyway. |

| Rikka's clumsiness doesn't bode well for the main series. I was quite interested in her personality but now I have the suspicion she will just get on my nerves, though that should be expected with a delusional highschool girl. |

| Great opening... and the ED was silly, but it was fun to listen to. The actual anime is alright, with some nice comedy here and there. Looking forward to see where this goes... |
| I didn't realize this was KyoAni, but I thought the art style was pretty KyoAni-like. Ep itself was okay, at least it gives a slight impression of how the anime will be like. Just some random stuff; the story is non-existent, not that I was expecting any in this short. OP was sound and animation wise extremely good for such a small short. ED was weird, very weird. |
| Meh really 3/5 I didn't find it funny at all :/ But I'm still gonna try the anime series soon. It does remind me of Hyouka and the guy reminded me of a light-hearted version of Houtarou. LOL The girl's really blegh right now. Nothing too special about her. I adored the OP but it does sound like an ending more than an opening. ED was pretty lame IMO. |

| at first i loled, i thought that the main character was something like like mato (BRS) and mei(another), and with the guns i belived this wwas like a gunslinger girl it took me 2 sec to realize i was wrong...and 5 minutes to decide to drop it.. luckily, i found out this is a gag version, and the original its not so bad, but why air them at the same time? |

| lol it is exactly the humour from the first few episodes of the show which i liked so good but it was a bit to short and i agree the opening and ending took to long + the ending was a bit to childish for me. |
