| This next test gotten underaway and this time, they didn't waste much time with chatter. It looks like the AI bot Emily became a tool to use in this episode. Khun was not happy with Dan's actions and their team did win as part of his efforts. This episode was strange...it was hard to root for any individual or team as I didn't feel invested enough into anyone particular. On the other hand, the episode had a mix of drama, comedy, and the usual Tower of God gimmicks thrown in to make it entertaining. Crazy ending though. |

| Well, no spoiling for CR subs last week with this episode... With the last episode being the end of the 1st Story: Prince of Zahard, we enter the 2nd story: the Workshop Battle. The Emily AI bot sure has prevalence with the 2-year timeskip, having the Regulars go to battle against each other, Viole's team definitely has improved, and Khun's team is also there alongside others for the seme reason to continue the climb up the Tower. Of course, this AI bot isn't a foolproof right strategy, which Dan apologizes to Khun after trying to utilize it in battle. Wangnan has his qualms being targeted as a pet animal from an enemy, thought the ploy to trick him doesn't quite work, and gets stopped by Viole before he is killed. It's still Wangnan that has to keep his emotions in check, though they need time to rest before reaching the 30th floor. Emily dropping the plot that Bam is still alive, and that she converts into a Traveler who was once a human, it's quite twisted actually. |

| Sooo... They didn't even bother to show how much time has passed since the previous episode, not to mention we don't even know which floor they're on right now. Well, at least Arkraptor mentions at the end of the episode that it's been almost 2 years. |

| Why doesn't the anime just show a little box indicating which floor every team is on, how much time has passed, and a brief description of the tests, like how the manhwa does? The anime always misses out on including small, key details for no reason, it's so annoying... Rachel makes her brief appearance again with her punchable face. Glad to see Endorsi again. I'm just zoning out during the fighting scenes, the animation is so bad. I was so excited to see Killua Ran fight, but ouch...the fight with Viole is a total joke as well. Funny how this part of the manhwa is being adapted with Emily at this time, now that ChatGPT is now more popular than ever. |

| Ngl man I ain’t understand anything in this episode, but I guess we had another timeskip which they of course didn’t tell us about.. because the warehouse fight is now only two months away? That’s a big ass jump but I guess when you got a tower this big you have to jump around in the timeline every now and again. Still seems crazy to think it’s been like a decade now since everything in season 1 happened so how old even is Bam and Khun? Speaking of which, just about the only thing I did understand from this ep was seeing Bam and Khun’s teams clear floor tests and it was interesting to see their different approaches and abilities Rachel disability gimmick in 2024 😭 if she don’t get out that damn wheelchair with that fake ass disability man.. the day Khun packs her will be a holiday, she not fooling nobody Wtf is this chatgpt ass arc though? We gonna be fighting AI next? Interesting. I need that Khun and Bam reunion asap now that Khun knows bam still alive |

| IMHO, from the next episode and till the end of the workshop battle is the best part of Tower of God. Even if the animation is bad and the pacing is all over the place, I advice you to stick till the end of the season (if it's 2-cour). |

Utter garbage pacing, too much skipping, terrible direction and the fight scenes are an actual eyesore. All the potentially exciting animation gets off-screened, you never see a collision on impact because they're using tricks instead of actually drawing it. I hope it gets better, but honestly, it can only go from trash to barely watchable at this point. What a low this episode was. They start off with a completely unexplained, and unexpected time skip with a new character you don't care for at all. You can't take any of the atmosphere in, it moves too fast and the animation is just too jarring and rough. It was so bad it was funny, Viole dodging the fireballs, Miseng running, wagnan hiding, Ran dodging Jaskels blades, all of it just looked so ridiculous. Somehow ToG S2 is on track to be worse than S1, even though S1 was the worst in the webtoon. Pretty much everything you just said were my words while I was watching the episode ;ddd Holy shit this is so bad. They are intentionally avoiding actual fight animations by just showing us the start of the fight where some attack is about to be used and then next thing it's cut off to the fight being over, like wtf? Nothing makes sense, random timeskip out of nowhere happened and they are just breezing through floors like it's a game with powerpoint slide fights if you can even call them that, then we get Killua from Wish... At this point I'm just watching to see how much worse can it get till the end of the season because this just makes me laugh each episode when they put so "much" effort into anything. This is basically the exact same thing that happened with Devil is a Part Timer season 2. Everything that was good about the first season was completely gone in the sequel and it took us to get the second season what, almost 10 years? |

| Yeah… I’m still enjoying this for the most part but I’m definitely feeling what others are feeling in regards to the art and animation, it’s serviceable but boy does it make me miss Season 1’s style lol, I rewatched it before this season and it had me hyped, and imo it started out pretty good but has gone downhill steadily. I plan to stick around to the end, because I really do like the world and story of Tower of God and am interested in where things go from here, but man I really hope they pull it together for this Workshop arc that folks are hyping up. All that being said, this was a decent episode but with quite the rough fight scenes, Ran defeating that sword guy was especially unsatisfying since you see that huge blast but only a bright light is seen hitting the guy, at least Dan clutched it up lol. Oh, also, there was a timeskip I didn’t even realize happened, I kinda figured this was the case since there was no transition into what’s currently happening in these tests but it would’ve been nice if they said that at the start lol. And looks like the upcoming plot is gonna involve this “AI” chatbot Emily which honestly has me pretty intrigued, I do think some scene could have been done better like Khun asking if Bam is alive but I really liked when that girl with the VR looking helmet was screaming. And in regards to the main gang, they’re currently going through tests and have made it quite far together but still have a ways to go before the workshop, the villains they were fighting seemed interesting but their fight was once again unfortunately not very good, some goofy looking moments in there lol, but the red haired lad was pretty fun, also Wangnan went back to his super saiyan hair which I like. |

Had a very hard time following what was happening on the screen and didn't even know it was a time skip of 2 years apparently lol. This episode compared to the last one was much worse in terms of pacing.

| I didn't even realize that there was a timeskip until they mentioned that the workshop battle was coming up soon, and also from the comments here. Regarding Khun finding out that Bam is alive, I thought he knew that already, maybe previously he just had a hunch or hoped he was alive but now with the Emily AI saying he's alive he's more certain of it. |
| So, two years have passed? The way they're telling the story makes it seem like Baam and the others' test didn't matter at all, and the little we saw of Khun and his test was boring. I'm not saying it's unimportant, but with how the story is being directed and its current pacing, that's how it feels. I think the only interesting thing was Emily. I'm not sure if she's actually human, but she knows a lot, even that Baam is alive. |
