It seems this show loves setting up Jun with the main female cast whenever possible. This time, it's Rumi's turn by chance. In what seemed like an unfortuante injury became a blessing in disguise for her as she is able to spend omre time with him.

Jun's feelings are kinda all over his head although he does have feelings for Naori. With Rumi's presence though, this gets more complicated.

That ending was intense but it seems the siblings have a lot to work out.
And the main needs to sort out his feelings or he is gonna hurt one of the girls.

Didn't expect to see a dvd at this point in time i wonder if those things still exist.

“Nobody can bring happiness to others if they aren’t happy themselves” “I think you’re the more attractive one.” Oh Reira was COOKING. That pep talk was exactly what Rumi needed to hear and the more this episode went on the more I agreed with her.

Rumi needs to stop being so caught up on this protecting her sister’s feelings thing and do what makes her happy. Naori had the same amount of time as Rumi did to confess and didn’t, you snooze you lose. I also agree with Reira calling Naori a schemer, she plays the cute otaku role well, but she’s got a devious side under all of that.

Jun’s friend is real as hell too, “I like her face and chest” ๐Ÿ˜ญ shortstack enthusiast, I get it. Also drove home how slow Jun is for not realising both twins loved him sooner. He doesn’t know that the whole “date the older sister, break up and go with younger sister” thing is exactly what Jun is doing lmao.

Felt so bad for Rumi this episode because she gets the wrist injury during basketball practice, the guy she loves is dating her sister.. feels like everything she cares about is being taken from her.

At least FINALLY Jun and Rumi have a face to face and let out how they’ve been feeling. I can’t believe Jun is doing all this soul searching and wondering why Rumi broke up with him and he hadn’t even told her he loved her. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Wild cliffhanger, can’t wait to see what happens next

It's clear that Rumi still loves Jun, but inadvertently giving him to Naori, she gets a talking by her best friend of Reira that she shouldn't leave her feeling for the benefit of another. Still, Naori can connect better keeping up with the interests of Jun being a daddy's girl, though Rumi takes after their mother. Moriwaki, more than being a good friend to Jun, crushed for Naori before Jun got her no thanks to Rumi, and he's quite the straight-laced man who'll support his friend's love story more than anything. At least now when Jun is on a pickle of his romantic ship, Moriwaki knows it best to advise him.

Rumi being injured on her way to making part of the team, it feels everything she works for, was all for naught, and Jun comforted her, still clearly having feelings between each other. Naori notices this but chooses not to mention on it for his sake. Even Moriwaki has to make the distinction clear that Jun sees Naori as his first love, though that was just it, and through he genuinely loved Rumi, he never once told her that he loved her.

Yelp, this romance drama is going to get ever spicy...

JESUS FLIPPING CHRIST THIS TURD IS SO ASS WTF, I HAVE SEEN SO MANY ASS CHARACTERS BEFORE, BUT MAN, I THINK THIS ONE SETS A NEW STANDARD FOR MENTALLY TERMINATED CHARACTERS.

This makes "La Rosa de Guadalupe" (A Mexican show about stupid drama that is ironically funny) a masterpiece in comparison.

MY BROTHER IN CHRIST, I MISJUDGED YOU JUN, I initially praised his design on the trailer, because he looked interesting, his glasses made him stand out among other main characters in romance anime, but holy fuck, he doesn't even uses its anymore, how can someone be so stupid despite being "MUH INTELLECTUAL BOOKS MADAFAKA"

MANY ANIME REFERENCES this episode:

- The girls at the karaoke were singing the opening for the anime "School Days"

Other references they made in this episode = this happened when the male MC was talking with his guy friend in the bedroom = they mentioned

- Makoto (male MC of School Days)

- Kyousuke (there are two Kyousuke that are known in romance/harem animes = male MC of My Little Sister cant be this Cute AND the male MC of Kimagure Orange Road)

- Junpei (there are two Junpei that are known in romance/harem animes = the male MC of Nyan Koi AND the male MC of Ichigo 100%)

- Rito (male MC of To Love Ru)

- They also mentioned "Canti", but I am not familiar with who Canti is, nor with what romance/harem anime Canti is in.

Can't bring myself to like Rumi still. What she did was outright malicious, playing with the feelings like that. She's rather hypocritical if she thinks of all this as love and caring.

School Days reference, or maybe foreshadowing? Lmao. Let's hope Jun won't end up like Makoto..who am I trying to kid here, that would be the best that could happen to this series.

I kinda dig this series more than expected. Just need more toxicity please.

I still hate Rumi. Jun was bound to develop feelings for her while dating and then she decides to break up with him after doing the damage. Obviously this is a bit more understandable given she cares for her sister and realized after the fact, but throwing away Jun like that was terrible.

Ok this is getting messy but I'm loving it. Makes so much sense that Jun would fall in love with Rumi despite having a crush on Naori when they were kids. Damn that cliffhanger though.

Also, new ED is cute! I realized it was the same song as ep 1 with a different animation and music. I think it fits the show a little better. Guess the ED from ep 1 was more somber to fit the tone of that particular one.

The tags …

“Comedy”, I have not laughed once

“Romance”, I don’t see any romantic scenes

“Love poly”, everyone is in love with everyone

“School”, shows them at school, at the very least

At this point, this anime is a forced drama tragedy.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I feel bad for Jun. His first love is Naori, but now he still loves Rumi. I'm glad that finally Jun can tell what he reallt feels to Rumi.

Something that Rumi and Naori want to talk about at the end, I have a bad feeling about this. Personally, I want Jun to move on from Rumi to Naori. But, I wish for the best for the three of them.

@RobertBobert Ahhh yes, WA2. I cant believe its been over 10 years since it ended, and still no special episodes, nor movie, nor season 02. But yes, definitely some similarities with this anime.

I could never get into the Da Capo franchise.

Although this anime resembles more that Clannad special episode where Tomoya is dating the twins.

I read on another site that Canti is the robot from FLCL (Fooley Cooley), but thats a bit of a stretch since they were talking about male MC in harem/romance animes

Animation this episode was stepped up, curious as to who worked on it.

The better animation helped leave a better impression on me for the Professor, who got a spotlight in this episode. His reaction to hearing about Jun's escapades with the twins made me laugh for the first time watching this usually dull series. Holy crap indeed.

If he gets more screentime, I might actually enjoy this show.
I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23.

I very much like Naori's nerdiness, I very much like this shows constant use of references in general. I very much do not like the unnecessary drama being caused by Rumi not taking it like it is. Jun likes Rumi, he wants to date Rumi. Rumi should just push forth and help Naori get together with Professor. Alternatively he can get the twins to go poly and solve the issues that way too. Or a foursome with Professor, either works.

Things are getting more interesting, now let's see what choices Jun will make! It becomes clearer that the two sisters, Rumi and Naori, still really love Jun. However, it was also mentioned that Jun hasn't been able to move on from Rumi. However, Rumi increasingly emphasizes to Jun that Jun must date her sister, Naori.

Some scenes look too bright. This causes the animation to be unbalanced. Anyways, here we are shown that one of Jun's best friends, Professor Moriaky (Moriwaki), likes Naori. Of course this is surprising news for Jun, because it turns out that the Professor still likes Naori since middle school. However, knowing that Naori loves Jun, the Professor tries to keep his nose out of it.

EP 3

Ep 1 was mostly rumi, ep 2 mostly naori. hmmm. both eps kidna ended off a bit abruptly soo

I mean the episode started out with lots of talking and then now this
...wtf is this cliffhang?? they literally cliffhang what

Its been 3 episodes and uh. So yeah. Ep 1 is mostly rumi, ep 2 is mostly naori, then this ep we had the three separately, and then rumi a bit and naori a bit.
For some reason we almost never get scenes with rumi and naori together, and like.
Bleh.
Like I cant even say anything
Its hard to tell since clearly. Things have flopped around real fast, we went from naori getting shafted, to rumi shafting herself, and then now its back to naori getting shafted, and some cliffhang so I dunno

EDIT: I just realized, the ed this ep is different than the ed in the other ep. Uh.

Okay this episode just reaffirmed for me that I like Rumi more. Naori's good too but I've always been weak to Rumi's type, the caring onee san. She loves him yet is ready to sacrifice her feelings for her imouto. So yeah Jun's first love was Naori after all, as was hinted in early episode but ever since Rumi and he dated he's in love with her. Watching the two was painful. Specially after Rumi sprained her arm and was crying. If only we got an ending with the two ending up with him. Now what's this secret she's talking about? Also Naori kind of acted like an ass for a bit in this episode but understandable. Btw thought it will be funny if it's ever revealed that the sisters swapped roles.

Didn’t realize Naori is considered a shortstack lol, I mean kinda? She’s on the shorter side but shortstack is reaching, funny bit tho lol, just like the “loli is a concept” line. Also did Moriwaki reference To Love-Ru when he said Rito? Not sure if the other names were also harem protagonists, but if that was the intended reference there then Moriwaki just became one of my favorite characters lol.

And there’s the regular ED in full, wasn’t expecting new visuals but they match the more fun version of the song, it’s like night and day with the strings version. And wow shit was getting real near the end of this one with the twins, the show is generally more lighthearted and fun but this plot is giving me School Days vibes (really need to rewatch that one), let’s hope things don’t take that same direction no matter how good the drama is lol.

Edit after reading other comments: holy shit so they actually referenced School Days in this episode where I thought about School Days lol, haven’t heard that OP in so long that I didn’t recognize it, that’s funny stuff, now I REALLY hope that’s not the direction things are going
