A friend introduced to anime on February 14th 2015 and I loved it. Ever since then I have been watching it. For the rest of that year, I watched a bunch of different types of shows and found my preferred genres, which were mecha, sci-fi, game, military, ecchi, and harem. In addition to that, I attended 3 enjoyable conventions, which is the most I ever have in a single year. At the time, I was in college and as soon as I had the chance, I joined my college's anime club. That club would meet every Friday and show the latest episode of several different seasonal shows. After that, I began to watch a hybrid of seasonals and older, completed anime. Once I graduated from college in 2018 and became a full time urban planner, I have had more time and watch more than I did then. Conventions continue to be a regular part of my life. More recently my tastes have expanded to include SOL and CGDCT. Other than anime, I am also a fan of vocaloid and video games (mostly strategy, J-RPG, simulation, and rhythm games).

So, what would you say is your favorite? If you have one
Unfortunately, almost everything relies on fandubs, so I'm used to that
The end of IS is kinda sad, reminds me of what happened with To Love Ru, and well, with Smartphone to Tomo ni, honestly... I know it's bad haha, I just have this weird fondness for it, the light novel is quite different from my perspective, I drop it for a while and then pick it up again, usually three or four volumes before where I left, I've been doing this for about 6 years now, so it's more like a sentimental thing hahaha. The second season I didn't like it, there were so many good things they could have focused on, but they skimmed over too much. Still, I'll always give it a high score because I genuinely want more content for this story.

Well, then, could we say it's your favorite franchise? Would you recommend reading the novels? Right now, I'm getting back into Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni Haha, we could say it's kind of a guilty pleasure, and trust me, I totally get your enthusiasm for Kanzashi. I'm in a similar situation with Ryuu Lion. Sorry for the late response, work's been a bit hard lately.

Thanks for the friend request! Likewise, I dig your taste in anime. Great minds think alike, yeah? And we're from the same neck of the woods too. You're the first I've come across on here from SC. Nice to know there's a least one person in driving distance that I can geek out with, lol. Anyway, chat me up anytime.

Btw, I just finished High School Fleet and the OVAs. Still hunting for the movie, though. While it was fun to watch, I enjoyed Azur Lane and KanColle a bit more personally. Hope to hear from ya soon. Enjoy your weekend!

Ah congratulations! And thanks! I definitely recommend checking out those sites, especially SkyscraperCity. It has a great community, and I believe its the largest vBulletin board out there. The amount of exploring and browsing you can do there will get you not only obsessed with anime, but also obsessed with architecture and construction in no time!

Btw I haven't had the time and will to get into manga yet, but I've "plan to read" almost all adaptions of the anime I've already watched and liked, including all overlord entries =)

As for Overlord, I quite like alot of characters. I tend to favorite quite underrated characters (like Eclair lol). Not sure why.. but my favorite character list is quite outdated and I never really take care of it. So yeah I like Riko over Ako but it’s not necessarily my top 10 character anymore

Oh yeah I’m extremely interested in architecture aswell. I’m planning to go to college soon doing engineering! My signature I have right now was just me testing the formatting of pictures. It’s kinda random. But as someone whos interested in architecture, you surely hangout on SkyscraperCity right? Or SkyscraperPage? As for Chicago I follow the construction of the Vista Tower very closely, along with other chicago project news and updates!
