I just finished The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten and I came to add a review only to find your review and see it more or less saying exactly what I wanted to say.

There was some missed potential here as with a little bit more depth/ character exploration (especially in the early episodes) this anime could have been God Tier....but as you say it still achieves what it sets out to do in being fluffy.

I did score it slightly higher at an 8 but my only reason for that is because I liked it enough to binge it really fast and I also really appreciated the very low amount of fan service.

Look forward to season 2.
