| It's back and pretty familiar style with the previous season. I'd say this opening episode is more relaxed than the first season when it had more tense action. Teru/Shy is generally still the person as I remember including her personality. Everyone is back to normal lives doing what they can as 'heroes'. Teru seems more open now and also more confident. Good for her, hope to see more of her character develop this season. |

| After a brief break, we're back from last Fall with the continuation of mangaka Bukimi Miki's manga series. PassCode's OP is decent, though a downgrade from MindaRyn's musically perfect Season 1 OP. I pretty much preferred Teru and Koishikawa's Season 1's ED It's good to see Teru, Pepesha and the other Heroes back for a brief re-introduction since it has been some time away from Season 1, doing the usual Hero things that they know best. At least Teru is not shy anymore...or so she thinks that she still has aways to go to overcome her social awkwardness as a developing hero. Teru being called for an interview from Akita Press reporter Asuka Tojiro, she was experiencing a writer's block on her written articles that were rejected time and time again. And it just so happened that she coincidentally met Teru while on her Hero work...which led to the hastened interview on the spot. The outgoing Asuka cornering the awkward Teru who acts like a child at heart, but the latter's engaging with Asuka on her reporter job does give some light to how the former can encourage her to be a hero in her own way as well despite being ordinary, which she finds the renewed motivation to do so. The result with Teru getting all of the teasing from Koishikawa with the interview, it's a good thing. Still, the fight against Amamaririku with Stigma continues, and he still has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. What troubles will the Heroes face this season? A decent return since I found Season 1 to be quite lacking, the sequel better have some meat going for it. |

| A very nice reintroduction with some setup and character introduction for what will come next. I like that a big part of the episode is actually anime original or expending stuff that was only a few panels in the manga. The interview sequence is nice and reintroduce the overarching theme of "hero's are humans like everyone". I also love how the Amalareik place look. Not a big fan of the music of the op but maybe it will grow on me, I really like the visuals even if the a good amount of reused animation from the first one. It was a nice episode but knowing what comes next and how long this arc is, I think that this episode should have done more. |
| Let’s gooo my baby Teru is back. I loved season 1 but people say this ninja arc will be even better, can’t wait to see it unfold. People already score bombing it one ep in sadly 🤦🏽♂️ This was a cute and comfy first episode back. I love the new OP song too! It was nice seeing all the various heroes get a lil screen time as I’d forgot some of them. Think they wanted to contrast the good that the heroes do in the world to stigma’s end scene where he says he wants them eliminated. The world definitely needs them. They keep the peace and help in day to day rescues, this world’s heroes seem like the quintessential good guys. Teru’s interview with Asuka was so cute. She has such a big impact on so many peoples’ lives and doesn’t realise it. She really did a good job boosting asuka’s confidence and noticing how well she took care of the notebook her grandmother gave her might have seemed minor, but it really improved Asuka’s mood. It’s also a nice scene because both are so hard on themselves about not doing a good job, but they really do! Nice first episode back, reminded me of why I love it so much. I can’t wait to see this arc get going in earnest! |

| I still don't really know why I love Shy so much tbh I mean I genuinely hate superhero stories but somehow this show just hits different. Teru and everyone are still the same as usual, We got to see America's hero which was cool, we hardly saw him last season. One cool detail I noticed was that it was mentioned that not every country has a hero, Idk if that was pointed out in season 1 but I really like that detail. I really love the art style of this show, Especially that creepy ominous style the surrounds Stigma |
| A good start to the 2nd season with them introduction the new older characters again. I like how they all got to shine and have the hero moments. I hope Teru never changes, she is very entertaining to watch. |

| About a year before Superman Returns™ to the big screen, Introverted Supergirl is back! This installment felt really like an episodic refresher to the characters and world. Not the most impressive debut episode for this season, but is functional enough for fans. Random thoughts: - We finally get to see America's hero in this series - Century. Wonder which DC/Marvel hero is he based off on.... - Shy managed to save a little girl from truck-kun's wrath. Girl should be thankful she did not get isekai-ed. - So will Tojiko be the series' equivalent to Jimmy Olsen? If so, this would make her workplace - Suzume Books - the Daily Planet, I guess. - Glad to see Asuna from Tokiwadai Middle School Koishikawa back as well. - Who is this Ai Tennoji? Can't wait to find out more about this new mysterious character.... |

| Yeah it's nice to see Shy and Spirits again and as usual Spirits is enjoying her spirits and Shy is being shy (I'm not sure if all of the heroes' names represent what they do or how they act though such as Century). |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Outside of boring Russian stereotype, I enjoyed this episode and I hope Shy is expanded more on as a character as I like her but needs to be written better. I do like the heroes and like the setup though. Let's see if the villains can more than Hot Topic Linkin Park listeners. |

| A really great way to start the season, though honestly can the USA's hero have a less embarassing costume? Lol, anyways, it was really heartwarming to see them all do their thing, even saving the goofy monkey. The interview was nice too, I wish I could read the full article. Stigma and his followers still complaining about heroes "forcing their sense of justice" but like, isn't he doing the same thing? |

| @StateofOhayo They are mirroring cartoon fans in that regard. I'll never understand shipping culture. Why can't a characters just have friends? Why can't the story be about something else besides how much they need to fuck X character? This isn't to say I'm against ships or a relationship as I do feel in some cases like for example a Show by Rock a relationship could have befitted two of the main leads of it. There is yuri/yaoi bait then there is just characters being friends with each other. |

| Glad to have this back after half a year. A bit of reintroduction of the heroes and also showing us their heroics. Was nice to watch. Shy's interview pumped up the reporter. Hope she'll be a recurring character. OP/ED were nice, had good visuals. Pepesha best girl. |

| The first season of Shy had a tough time, being in the best seasonal lineup I've seen since I started watching them two and a half years ago. But what started good became great during the Russia Incident and it was a very rare case of me being unable to find flaws in a show, so I have very high hopes for it's second season aswell. Funny enough, it's also the (thematically) closest show to my all-time favorite Fairy Tail I ever found and now it has to go up right against it. Not exactly the best season for Shy either ^^ Regarding the episode itself, I suppose it's an anime original (similar to MHA's recaps) for the most part, as the only new thing was the introduction of Century. But it was still very enjoyable, seeing Shy and the interviewer supporting each other was super sweet! |
