| Ugh, Tanuki's true colors are just awful to see. Knew there was something was off about him and the way he harasses Isaku is sickening. What's worse is that Keiya was forced to watch. While they managed to resolve this, she and Keiya definitely sees him differently than he was before. Tbh, I never liked Tanuki the moment he showed up in the show. |

Due to being too mischievous, Tanuki, entrusted to his yakuza grandfather by his parents, shivered at Keiya's intense glare as he desperately tried to protect Isaku. It sent chills down his spine to see Keiya, who was so determined to protect Isaku, glaring at him with hostility. He wished to see more of that expression on Keiya's face. When Takanashi attempted to kidnap Isaku and deliberately provoke Keiya, Isaki noticed his intentions and fended him off. On the other hand, with Tanuki, who played the role of Romeo, on the run, the classmates were in chaos. In response, Keiya, who harbored jealousy, had memorized the script and stepped in as a substitute. Oh, so now we're justifying rape without any consequences? It's disheartening that the creators portrayed this girl as oblivious and forgiving when someone was clearly attempting assault. What am I even expecting from this? Seriously, it's getting on my nerves.Whatever, just don't mess with the established ship. At this point, I've come to terms with the fact that this is just a drawing, so fine, that was interesting, but now I want to see some more intense developments. I hope their relationship progresses. It's frustrating to wait and see nothing happening at all. |

But you know, for the main guy being the older person in this story, he sure as hell does not act as that older more grounded/responsible one, does he. I mean, the blondie is a kid, so i expect him to act like a brat. And did Isaku just got kidnapped for the second time ... i know she's a granddaughter of a yakuza boss, but damn, Keiya sucks a major one as her bodyguard, lol. |

| The truth about Mikio Tanuki is out, and Isaku still being unconscious about her surroundings, she's just a sheltered girl who has no awareness of the outside world. At this point, both Isaku and Keiya are accosted as Tanuki wants them to be, but as subtle as Keiya can be, Tanuki has always been eyeing Isaku to play on her since the first day they met, and even though the dumb girl can't accept that Keiya is about to shoot Tanuki point-blank for his atrocity to rape her, to Keiya, this is absolutely unacceptable and he'll personally dig Tanuki's grandfather's grave for that. On Isaku's behalf, her self-defense definitely was useful this time. Back to the festival, Keiya is about to replace Tanuki as Romeo, but said guy came up and made a mocking scene of them both, though the rehearsal is more important at this stage. But even then, Tanuki swapped roles wiith Keiya at the very last minute, and since the play was designed for both Isaku and Keiya in mind of their lovey-dovey relationship, they proceeded with it anyway just for the class to see them both together. Regardless, the play was a success, and at the very least, they had reservations on Isaku's acting at the start, though the swap worked to their good. An "all's well that ends well" ending to this rather forced drama...thank god. |

| So he's scum of the earth, and all that stuff... yet I'm somehow NOT supposed hate Mr blondie greeneyes? That... ain't okay, writing-wise. Rape is bad, so why are they playing it up like "Yeah he's a rapist, but he's so quirky, and snuggly and UwU! :3:3:3"? The artwork was inconsistent across the whole episode, like really inconsistent, but I didn't find anything badly animated enough to consider worthwhile mentioning. Some stuff that was kinda ugly, or a bit lazily animated, and again, the scene-to-scene artwork consistency almost seemed intentionally bad. Honestly, I just don't care about much of anything here right now. The anime lost both my ability to give a shit what happens to the main characters, and it's even losing the sardonic side of me that wanted to see Project No.9 completely stop giving a damn. Wake me up when Tanuki come back like...  ...followed by him getting a second forgiveness arc. EDIT: Accidentally made it sound like I somehow liked blondie greeneyes in the first sentence (Or that I like literally anybody in this fuckin' anime), so I fixed that. |

I can kinda justify her rather cold and nonchalant response to this insane situation due to her upbringing in the mafia where she maybe expected things like this to happen, but it still broke my suspension of disbelief big time. But what bothers me more is that this felt never like real danger. It started out with surprise and shockfactor, but the resolution was laughable easy and silly. Mikio is such an joke of a character. It really went downhill after he was introduced. It would have been enough for me if the age gap, the before established big brother role Keiya had in all her life and the dangerous nature of his job causes drama and conflict in the show. Sweet touch tho, how she improved her last line in the play. At first I didn't even realised they apperently weren't supposed to kiss, but this makes it even cuter. |
| Alright I’m ngl I love this show but Isaku lost me completely here. I can’t believe my ears did this idiot really just forgive a dude for about to rape her, because he’s Romeo in the play??? No amount of mafia upbringing is going to justify that type of response to that situation that’s absolutely insane. Kinda made it hard to take the rest of the episode seriously with that. The play was cute since Keiya ended up being Romeo as he should’ve been from the start, I did like he and isaku’s ad libbed lines, but man the art and animation during this episode really let them down. That might’ve been the worst kiss animation I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t even tell if their lips connected or not 🤦🏽♂️ really don’t get why project no.9 gave this series this level of animation while Hikikomari looks great.. |

| I didn't get a strong impression that Tanuki was actually planning on going all the way to rape Isaku, not for moral reasons on his part just because he didn't seem interested in doing more than just riling her and Keiya up to have himself endangered and he even said so that he's just trying to get a thrill because he doesnt feel anything. I could be wrong but interpreting it this way makes more sense for how Isaku responded. I wouldn't call this well written at all how Isaku reacted, I mean I laughed out loud when she said "we cant do the play without him".....im all for someone being forgiving of someone that is messed up in the head not seeking death of them and I think Isaku thought he wasnt going to go through with it because like I pointed out he himself said what he was trying to do, but that has got to be the stupidest reason even though it makes sense for her character how she wants a normal school life. There is no way she would want him to play Romeo and she already knew Keiya had Romeo's lines memorized so she should have been the one to bring up switching roles at the very least or otherwise make him leave the school under a false premise with some threats backed up by Keiya and have Keiya make the same call he did since he was only there to begin with just to mess with her and Keiya.. Come on. I understand what this story tries to be but even on those standards it feels like it doesnt hold up well. The face pat Keiya gave Isaku in the car is the second time I feel like he has severe autism. The other time was the comment he made to Isaku while on the raft in the pool. He literally doesnt know how to act or talk around people. Seriously what was the face pat supposed to mean? Was he upset with her for trusting Tanuki and gently expressing that or what? Oh well at least Isaku got to kiss Keiya under a false premise excuse to do so, so good for her. |

| Ouch, Tanuki's ulterior motive was just painful to see but Isaku managed to save herself this time thanks to the self-defense training she took on! Also, the moment when Keiya smacked her face was kind of weird yet hilarious. That half part wasn't bad either, Keiya played well and the whole acting was successful. What a relief. |

| FMC couldn't be more naive and stupid than he was in this episode, story is slow as hell, it's getting boring and the animation is also getting worse and worse each episode. I was really looking forward to this anime when I saw the trailer and first episode, but I'm really dissapointed... considering dropping it. |

| Unfortunately this episode didn’t maintain the art and animation as well as the last couple did, noticed a few scenes where mouthes were moving when they were and weren’t supposed to lol, but at least Keiya’s attack against Tanuki’s boys looked pretty good, as well as the intimate moment during the play which I had a feeling would end up having Keiya as Romeo even after all that happened lol. One slightly baffling thing about this one tho is the fact it seems like Tanuki pulled quite the dastardly stunt but barely got punished for it only because Isaku wanted him to be in the play, yeah that’s some goofy shit but this show is more on the lighthearted spectrum so I figured things would go back to normal after that. Oh well, and I guess I will keep hoping this show looks serviceable as we enter the last leg of the show. |

| Holy crap this episode was amazing for all the wrong reasons. The crappy animation, the bad plot, the problematic themes skyrocketing out of control, this anime is so baffling bad that at this point it's actually super entertaining to watch. I don't think an anime make me laugh and be gross out this much before at the same time while watching it. To be fair to the author of the manga I'm pretty sure the whole "We can't do the play without him" and "he didn't actually succeed" lines were put into place so he can still be in the story and keep the lighthearted vibes for the rest of the episode. Don't get me wrong they're still horrendous lines but I still understand the intent behind them. Also I'm pretty sure the whole part where Mikio is gone from school for several days and we learn that he was recovering from being beat up was suppose to put the readers/viewers mind at ease about him not receiving punishment but I seriously don't understand why Isaku didn't want him at the very least getting arrested and going to jail. I feel like that is very reasonable. Maybe it's because there all involved in the yakuza in some way so none of them wanted the police involved? Honestly I can see Isaku not wanting Mikio dead but using the excuse of "We can't do the play without him" is absolutely asinine. At least come up with something better like "We don't want to start an all out war with the other yakuza." That response would be very logical and actually make sense. Yeah I got it pretty much right away what was intended because I known of a lot of girls who also try to strive for normalcy when something happens so it's not entirely unrealistic a reaction but the line is so bad it's meme worthy. I think it makes more sense on focusing on what he did do rather than could have done since like I said I think it was meant to be that he wasnt actually going to rape her because he knew Keiya would stop him at some point but maybe im giving too much benefit of the doubt to the abilities of the author at making a coherent reasoning why Isaku would be wanting to playing his Juliet after that when she knew Keiya memorized the lines so he could always fill in. I mean imagine that kiss scene with him instead of Keiya it would have been too uncomfortable for her. I will just stick with the facts, he kidnapped Isaku and Keiya at knifepoint under threat of violence and cut open Isakus top some (not sure what crime that would count as in Japan) while verbally threatening to sexually assault Isaku while explaining his intent. |
