| feels like it's been ages since we got a spy x family chapter. well worth the wait. this chapter was very funny and a refreshing change from a lot of the recent ones that were more action packed. also feels like we're back on track with more focus on the family aspect too rather than just the spy aspect |

| At the end where Anya is trying to take it back about being friends, and Damian is like, you cant take it back when I was going to refuse it.... I'm pretty sure, he felt slightly hurt that she was trying to take it back, and as a defense mechanism, he was like, I was going to reject it anyways... But without his lackeys there, he most likely would've just said okay let's be friends. But Anya couldn't understand why everything was rose-colored in his head and got creeped out by it lmao...forgetting her mission, oh dear this girl..... I wish they could become casual friends by now, but I think their back-and-forth relationship will just continue as a running gag. But it would be cool if all five of them, including Becky, the lackeys....wait maybe six with Glooman kid, become a friend group. Because Becky and Damien have such good chemistry. And maybe at some point, the lackeys can get some agency and autonomy to be their own person with their own distinctive personalities. We know by this point that they probably initially became friends with Damien because of their parents forcing them to network, but they've grown to genuinely care for him as a close friend. But what are their goals, ambitions, likes, dislikes, etc.? Hopefully an episode where Damien can be a good friend to them and have their backs instead of vice versa would be good, or maybe even Anya getting close to them as friends without Damien in the picture and they start seeing her as a friend would be interesting. |
