Heh, this was an odd finale. They threw in all the gimmicks of the anime together as a way to celebrate the finale.

There's even some drama with a kid that went "missing" but he came back immediately. I think they went with a safe and fun approach to the finale episode, which works for this anime. And lol, the marriage jokes.

Had a lot of fun watching this series. 7/10

Ah... Usahara really cares about Uramichi Oniisan that much. Thankfully, Uramichi Oniisan isn't quitting. Amon creeping behind Uramichi like that was creepy but I get why he was doing it. LOL. Everyone's here representing a different culture and then there's Uramichi Oniisan being Bonjour Man. LMAO. The Hello Squad was a success.

No final episode Esque happening in the episode itself. All of the hilarious unexpected stuff happening around. LOL. Overall, I would say one of the best shows of this season and the funniest of them all. Imagine, if I just went over it, I would've been missing so much. Really enjoyed the funny moments with the whole cast of this show. Would love a second season without any thoughts.

OH NOES...Uramichi Oniisan's farewell party back to his gymnast days...and it's ONEGAI MUSCLE TIME! Of Tobikichi's prophecy of a dream...

Well of course not, it's the gym that's moving, not Uramichi himself, doggone it Tobikichi!

The "Dumb and Dumber" Amon is looking for ideas, but Uramichi just won't buy his BS of using him for his own gain to bring smiles to children, as evident by the Yakomi Shinobi idea episodes past. So, it's up to stalking to do the job.

Utano Oneesan and the other Oniisans wear the "Hello World" costumes aorund the world made by Amon, but Uramichi's Bonjour Man was easily wack shit hilarious. You can't unsee it the first time.

Didn't think that they would break the 4th wall for the 2nd half. It's once with the reunion of a parent-child "plot", but it did happen lols...for a moment. From Utano 's wedding (more like paying) proposal to Iketeru's pet dog Sayuri earning an award and Tobikichi getting catfished by Capellini, the ordained final episode is still aways to go. But forget about that, Together with Maman will still go on, business as usual!

What a heartily enjoyable show that's worth the heartpangs of "Adulting". Gonna miss this show.

They got us in the first half. But yeah, it was just a misunderstanding ... it actually was an entire episode full of misunderstandings lol. Honestly when i first started this i was not expecting it being this much interesting, maybe it was becasue it hits so close to home ...

The comedy was on point, and the characters were as miserable as you can expect. Good anime through and through that i would never picked myself. This is how a satire should be done. Oh and Mizuki Nana's singing was nice.

Of course he wasn't going to live like that xD this actually was a pretty fun episode for a finale, sure it was some quite funny anime especially the 2nd half, even though the jokes and settings were a bit repetitive for me especially at the beginning

Utano Oneesan is hilariously unfortunate. May she have "fun" working till the day of the anticipated proposal.

Gotta agree with Uramichi. This worked for me as final episode in the sense that not every day is eventful.

7,5/10

Gonna miss these characters.

I suppose that's one intriguing and hilarious way of making a parody out of the finale episode, props to the creators, anime team I'm guessing, for coming up with this!

Anticlimactic course of events there, for sure xD. A part of me couldn't help but hope that Utano-neesan's section wouldn't fall into this as well though but sadly that was not meant to be. Sincerest condolences, neesan. Quite the roundabout invitation from Usahara to Capellini-san by the way, lol.

Uramichi-oniisan's "Bonjour man" skit certainly worked out well. "Bonjour man would like to know that." really cranked me up good. I just can't get enough of his dead-pan expressions. Nice little change for once with him finding a bit of solace and happiness in the end though, I was lowkey expecting a cracked voice at the very end there.

"Don't follow, kids" - Sincere message there to call it a close for the show lmao, which, by the way, has been a treat to watch. A few of the episodes dropped a tier but, as a whole, the nichijou life of the cast was charming enough to keep me invested throughout and for that, I award this show with a well-deserved 7/10.

Honestly, I only decided to watch the show because of the stacked VA cast. And that, they obviously delivered! Hoping for a 2nd season now.

Going to write a little bit more later.

But hey, everything was just a misunderstanding. Well, this just showed how much Usehara cared about Uramichi. Pretty fun way to end and all I can say is that this has one of the best VA cast and the best ED of summer 2021. The comedy was hilarious and this pretty much deserves a 8 in my book.
Well, this was a pretty fun episode. Felt like a gintama one where all the characters are doing random stuff. Every little moment made me laugh but the one that made me choke was Usahara with that dude chick LOL.

BONJOUR MAN!

I don't know how that guy does it but it's amazing how his ideas get stupider and more successful, poor Uramichi always gets the worst of it xD. I love how the others have to hold back their laughter but Uramichi makes it harder for them lol.

And then that second half with the fourth wall break was just great. Poor Utano :'D

Speaking of Utano, it was such a treat to hear Nana Mizuki sing so many times <3. And in general, what a cast!

Ever since I saw some of the manga panels I knew I would love this show. Hilarious and relatable, another one of my favorites from this season that I'm going to miss. Hope we get another season.

Bonjour Man is worthy of the "The STAND user can be anyone" meme.

The Sayuri part was scary for a moment, but she was just being a good girl.

Im just sad that we didnt see Uramichi sister.

About halfway through it was clear they weren't going to do anything conclusive and were going to filibuster like Gintama. I was kinda, sorta hoping the reason for that was for Derekida to come out and announce SEASON 2 (to the chagrin of Uramichi and co.)!

Ah well.

I suppose the most progress we got was Iketeru actually listening to his co-workers and NOT dreaming of dancing onigiri for once!

This series had its moments especially when it pulled away from the flat "being an adult sucks, mmkay kiddies?" punchline.
My favorite life lesson has to be when Uramichi teaches the kids when you have to decide to fight back even if it means sufferings the consequences, especially how Kumao took it to heart.
You did the right thing back then, buddy.

Also it was fun hearing Nana Mizuki and Mamoru Miyano sing and play off each other. I kept imagining Ann and Ryuji singing a duet in a kids show. lol

Uramichi's final line ended the show on a fitting note but it'd be nice to see an OVA.

This is how a slice of life anime should end. I almost couldn't believe how humour and adult depression could be put together in a show with little kids dancing and everything. But very well done, this is how we as viewers expect the writers to experiment with. It was just so refreshing to watch. The only good thing about Mondays is now gone too:( Need a second season plss, idc if there's even a storyline or not, just these epic characters in there and that's enough.

A fairly average finale to what was overall a fairly average series. It had its comedic moments for sure, but I think it should have been half-length episodes rather than full-length ones, as other than the first episode each one ended up dragging quite a fair bit as it stretched itself out for enough content to justify itself.

Great final episode! I got kind of scared Uramichi would actually be leaving the show at the start of the episode but glad that wasn't the case. This episode was also very funny with the anticlimactic scenes such as the lost child and Iketeru Oniisan bleeding xD. Utano thinking she was getting married but it was just actually her boyfriend asking her to lend money to her for someone elses wedding gift made me laugh quite a bit too. Not to mention Iketeru's sister making it out as if Iketeru's dog Sayuri had died when it'd just won an award lol. Usahara accidentally inviting Capellini out to tea was also extremely funny. Think I'll pick up the manga now. Also loved Uramichi's doors of sympathy opening. Watching this after a boring Monday really made me a lot happier and I am really going to miss Uramichi Oniisan and the rest of the cast! Hope we get a season 2 one day!

So it was a misunderstanding after all as Uramichi was going to leave his gym instead of his job. Poor Uramichi had to wear another ridiculous outfit as "Bonjour Man" after being chased and stalked by Anon and the "Hello World" segment ended being a huge success. I like how this episode broke the fourth wall with the whole finding a finale like moment with all the characters.

Overall, Uramichi Oniisan was a nice dark comedy about the perils of being an adult that is super relatable and depressing. I give this series a 7/10 because being an adult is hard.

I was expecting in the first scene that it was all a dream. Thankfully, I was right 😅 We saw another hilarious costume with a catchy name, "Bonjour Man" that rivals the "God of Shiso" costume 😂 I loved how they developed a series of last-episode scenes for everyone in the show. But it's alright that they ended the show normally since watching their daily antics is already the best xD.

It's been a fun ride, I've learned a lot especially from Uramichi 😍 The very last line Uramichi said in this episode really hit me hard since it's the line that he always says every time they start the show 😭

Also, the VA team for this was insane! So many big name and great seiyuus!

And... of course Uramichi wasn't going to quit. Just one of many misunderstandings this finale featured.
Still, F for Utano-oneesan tho. She really needs to have a talk with her boyfriend about the future.

Nice series overall. Definitely more enjoyable during its second half when the "being adult sucks" jokes stopped being that repetitive and the actual "Life Lessons" scenes became more frequent.

7/10 - Will definitely miss Iketeru's character and his incredibly childish sense of humor xD

This anime carrying out the anime tradition once again, but only several times in one episode. Interesting.

Very good anime. perhaps the jokes were a bit overused but I still liked it. would've been even better if they went so serious for a couple episodes... especially when life got Uramichi thinking.

Bonjour Man ftw!

Kind of a dud final episode. Not because they didn’t do some big event, but because they spent the whole time parodying final episode events that it became annoying. This series has very rarely made meta jokes, so for most of the final episode to be a long-running meta joke felt very out of place.

I was really hoping there would be some development of the charcters or their situation throughout the series’ runtime, but they went in the “nothing happens SOL” direction instead.

Some funny moments in this series, but the visuals weren’t very impressive and it had its fair share of misses. 5/10. Closer to a 6 than a 4.

Perfect ending. Hilarious outfit once again to oniisan. Bonjour Man vs Shiso God. Omg, can't wait for that movie xd.

Half to clear the previous episode obvious misunderstanding. Then the other half to clear how to end the final with some usual final-episode-esque. Because after all, everyday lifes with no changes make you feel even more happy. That's deep, i aggree and pretty much liking their self-aware somehow, especially with that adult can have double, even three-faced. Scary, but that's the untold fact.

Uramichi Oniisan. Started out with doubt, but its definitely become my liking. Indeed the comedy of the season, or even for the whole year.

Perfect way to end the show lmao, bait us with all the ending cliches and then really ending it in a wholesome way. I am gonna miss these depressed onii-sans, onee-san, bear and rabbit. It kept me entertained and managed to keep things fresh all throughout.

But Uramichi still can't escape in the last episode with Bonjour man, give the man his answers as to why he's the only one ending up in those kinds of outfits lmao. Overall very enjoyable show. 8/10

The scene where Uramichi oniisan wore Usahara's head was funny.

The kid was so adorable! And, he actually sounded like a kid, which is always nice.

That "Final Episode" joke was funny at first, but then they over-used the joke, and the episode felt like it was just dragging. Does the manga not have a good chapter that can be used to conclude a season?

What a pointless series. I was hoping to see jaded adult dealing with menial and demeaning job but got pretty much nothing. Couple of jarring songs between really bland relationships of one dimensional characters. It could just be an OVA made out of first episode with the very few decent scenes from later episodes added. All this time and money wasted.

Well the missing child was resolved in an instant

I was dissastisfied with the ending, I was expecting something that would build up to the point that Uramichi would have some passion for his job.

This anime sometimes have mediocre and sometimes funny dialogues, they're funny but at the same time i'm not laughing, since they lack a lot of personalities.

Sound effects and soundtracks are lacking too to be able to enhance the funny scene for me to be able to laugh.

And one of the jokes can get repetitious

Overall, a 5/10 for me.
