yeah we are currently at the halfway point of thriller bark so we'll likely get to fishmen island by the time it finishes airing.
yup even if it's something absurd or doesn't really connect, it's still fun to discuss! remember when people thought gear 5 was actually tigerman? this was quite popular before the resin theories showed up because of the dragon and tiger story.
lol that's true! i don't think santa exists in one piece either, still it's a fun theory and gives chopper some sort of awakening since from what we know so far, his human human fruit would just turn him into a human on awakening which wouldn't be as helpful unless he can control that form and morph between stronger, faster, smarter etc versions.

yeah i don't really get the obsessiveness that people have with shipping, like i can understand if that's the main appeal of the story like a romance or harem series, but in a battle shounen series where majority of the audience are there to see mc throw punches and be cool, you aren't going to get much focus on romance especially not for side characters who's got that kinda time!? can't speak for black clover but both jjk and mha have big shipping audience despite both series not bothering much with romance except for just establishing who the mc likes. yeah i don't get how some people believe that their strange ship will be real when they have so much working against them.

yeah it's difficult to match them since their design colors are so different, most lantern lite artwork uses night sky as it's background to emphasize the fireworks and lanterns but that doesn't really work here with other elements so i decided to go with a more mixed approach where it has a bit of everything but still connects with other sets at some level. it still needs a lot of work here's the current progress so far:

yeah so bloomberg released an article about arcane and how it cost 250 mil to make and it hasn't broke in profit yet, netflix gave them 3 mil per episode but they went overbudget and doubled each episode's budget which might've also played the role in how much they had to cut.

yeah the music, jokes and pacing were way better this year.
yup from likely knows about what they are getting into if they are committing to this instead of making a smaller expansion which is like guaranteed money. that's a strange choice considering you can do duo in base elden ring and this is built on the bones of that.
maybe they could make the theory that elden ring, especially ranni's ending is the precursor to every other souls game canon, it's possible to make elden ring the starting point of the timeline and bloodborne being the end point that we know of.
so the deal did have a resolution and basically sony is their biggest shareholder now instead of a company takeover, which honestly is the best outcome for everyone, bamco is jumping with joy that they could still hire from lol, still this is very strange considering how it seemed like the deal was going to happen.

my arm is slowly getting better since i can hold a controller again, though the arm is still weak so can't press some buttons but it's functional for now, so i've been addicted unicorn overlord lol, it's a really fun game!
my dad made a bunch of different dishes yesterday for christmas, so we'll likely do something similar for the 25th. i might have to travel somewhere on the 26th but the plans keep changing so it might get cancelled, not sure yet. do you have any plans for christmas?

nope since i'll probably be watching that with friends at some point in the future so i decided to hold off on that for now. i've heard it's been pretty good though.
yup lmao! i've heard some crazy theories over the years, imagine if vegapunk streamed every random thought he had about the world and people believe everything that was said even if it doesn't connect with everything, that's the experience of reading every theory lol it's fun.
chopper seems to be inspired by rudolf the red nose reindeer and that's a fictional story related to santa, chopper has the human-human fruit maybe he just turns into santa. i don't think this theory would end up being true but it's a funny theory haha.

yup it's like including the game is just a way to say "its not a generic isekai fantasy, this is what you wanted right?" even though most of these anime follow the same tropes that doesn't utilize the video game setting in a meaningful way.
lol! that's understandable, i was following that game when it was in early access back in 2019, it's a very chill game and putting/organizing all the factories together seems very addicting indeed, cool to see they reached 1.0. last time i was keeping up with it was when they added a boss to the game.

yeah it would be pretty cool and would characters like usopp and nami opportunities to shine against characters who can pretty easily destroy them.

now i am trying to work on a yelan, hutao and keqing matching set but can't figure out how to match them lol, might have to take a general theme that matches them like lantern aesthetics and personalize them with elements that relate to them.

ohh i see, that kinda explains much higher quality of season 2. yup everything felt to be moving a little too fast like jinx retired from interfering with the city but the payoff happened immediately next episode where she had to save the kid, i feel like something more could've been done there like the kid being fake jinx for longer etc. yup, one of them didn't even say anything entire show iirc. that's true, season 2 might've gotten much bigger in scope than expected, i feel like making an act 4 or even a season 3 would've been the right call here.

yeah i watched the game awards and that was a really good show! virtua fighter is back after 15 years, RGG studio is making a sleeping dogs like game which is awesome, the developer who made ico announced his new game that doesn't even have a name but it looks cool, okami is back and capcom got kamiya back in their studios to work on it however that also means platinum games as a studio is gone which is a shame, and lastly naughty dog is making a cowboy bebop inspired game which is a great concept, the futuristic retro style looks very unique, really looking forward to it.
the elden ring trailer looked great, i just hope it's fun to control too lol, i've seen people be very angry about this game but i think from can do it, this is very much a thank you to all their multiplayer audience who somehow find joy in it lol. as for the lore, they can say erdtree has opened portals to different worlds and summoned dark souls 3 bosses. it's really funny how this was announced after the merger leak so in a way it might be the last time bamco will get that fromsoft money lol.

Yeah, that's fair, I did feel that as well when I started watching it, kinda had to refresh myself on what happened in both seasons rq. The second cour I think is coming out early 2025? Hopefully like literally January I'd rather not wait 6+months for it then forget everything in the first part...
