| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty entertaining episode/finale overall. We got a fierce fight with a train and their lives at stake. With such a dangerous situation, it feels like almost anything could of happened in the finale. Glad to see the main cast fight the good fight after everything they've been through this season. It's not easy but overall a sensation to watch with the high stakes. |

| Over The Moon...for you? This finale gave me Back to the Future Part 3 vibes. The finale of everyone vs. Gil the Snake, seriously he has no chill. But a concise plan must be had if they want to defeat him in the sleight hand of teamwork. Saving Sofia on the runaway train that'll wreck Los Angeles vs. killing Gil at the source, this proves deadly for everyone at the hands of the mastermind. And that leaves Dylan and TJ to fend Gil off whilst the rest saves Sofia with all they've got left of their cars. The ultimate test of Appare's car, his ultiatium of a steamship car that managed to stop in time and prove its worth, with Dylan and TJ successfully subduing Gil. The timeskip to finish the Trans-America Wild Race WITHOUT ANY OBSTRUCTIONS. AND WTH LOL, Appare's car won with tricks up their sleeve. But as is a race is won, friendship is lost in return. Appare and Hototo found where they truly belong, leaving Kosame behind whose goal from the beginning to return back home, is the feeling of jeopardy. But y'all know, 13 episodes in and the friendship is not afforded to be easily swept away. What a fitting end, and a delight to finally finish this. |

| lol as soon as it didn't show Kosame on the boat while it was leaving I think we all knew he stayed behind :P Alas though, it has finally come to an end. Have to say, really loved the series in the beginning, but then it started to considerably drop in quality around the middle when it became more about "the true race is the friends we made along the way" rather than the competitiveness of the race it was hyping out to be but when Gil was properly introduced.........dayummmmmmmmmmmm. Then it suddenly just shot back up. Jeez I thought Gil was such a great/badass villain that I didn't really mind when he was just wiping the floor with everyone. Oddly enough at that point I actually enjoyed seeing everyone fight together overall a little Hototo/10 still bummed out Sofia was just a general childhood friend and not Al love interest top kek |

| So now it's going to be the same but with planes? lol Well overall it had a lot of potential with the race but kinda got under-exploited with a sort of fight against a main random villain, still fine but I expected more things with the cars. 6/10 |

| Wow they actually finished the race and as expected Appare won. This was a pretty wild ride but ngl things became quite dull in the middle and I thought this would be a racing anime but sadly they focused more on cliche drama. Anyway pretty average anime overall, concept was great but the execution was bad. Btw was Kosame's Fiancee Appare's older sister after all? I had a feeling it was her. |

| 6/10 for me. Being the titular character and all, goddamn Appare was fucking annoying. He only slightly redeemed himself in this episode. The other characters around him were more interesting. I feel like Gil was too good of an antagonist for this series and they made him look weak. Not gonna lie, this final episode was really underwhelming and many things were quite predictable throughout the series. Best part was seeing TJ unmasked and seeing his handsome face. |

| Wasted potential. I mean it wasn't terrible or anything, but just underwhelming, definitely should've been at least twice as long. Characters were fun, but for a premise like this you would expect a more epic story. Awkward Appare and Kosame moment at the end was cute, tho. |

| Not a bad show; a decent plotline, intriguing setting and fun and unique characters. I wished Appare's development had have gone in a slightly different direction, but that's a personal dissonance. Solid 7/10. |

| Damn, this was one entertaining note to sign off with! It's been a fun ride, that's for sure. Gil totally OPing the gang was kind of hard to watch but good thing the two Cowboys made it in time to save the day for them. Meanwhile, Appare and co. managing to take over the train and consequently stop it was pretty cool, good job to P.A. Works for blowing it outta the park there! Cool finish to the race, too. I knew it would've to be a stroke of genius and luck, and that it is in flying colours lol. Certainly enjoyed that slow-up motion towards the end of the race. Hilarious final few minutes before the ED credits rolled in there, xD. I knew Kosame didn't leave the moment Appare began to lose his calm and spew all that. "Saishou kara ~" lmao, the VA nailed it there. And all go their separate routes. Expected that but still a little bittersweet. God damn, why didn't we see a spur in Sofia x Al though, it was such a good buildup for this... Nice to see that Xia Lian make it as a professional race after coming 2nd place, by the way. Appare, Hototo and Kosame at least are together for the time being. Next, plane and then a spaceship. Judging by how easily the car/ship hybrid was countered, I reckon reaching the end of space even isn't far-off xD. All in all, it's been a fun ride and I'm definitely going to miss this series. Soundtrack, now that's something to get my hands on upon! Evan Call just can't miss, can he? Solid 7/10 from me. Seriously though, it had so much potential and with 2-cours, I reckon it could've kicked arse more, but well a pity it's not the case. |

| Oh wow, what a crazy episode and what a great ending! I was lmao when they started flying xD. Tsundere Appare at the end was hilarious. It was nice to see that both sisters received their letters and know that they are well. I definitely did not expect to enjoy this show as much as I did to the point of wanting more. They've left things open for a second season which if it happens, I'll be glad to welcome. One last thing. I've said it all season long and I'll say it one last time, Xialian is hot af! Along with Yui, my best girls of the season. |
| Chicago...smack dab in the middle of the Illinois desert surrounded by mountains.... It was a fun show in the vein of Trigun and Samurai Champloo. Most of the characters except for the one dimensional villain were fun too. I wish if focused more on the race than the disappointing villain, but to me it is still more than a 7, but not quite an 8 |

| This was a decent show with a solid ending. Its a shame it didn't concentrate on the racing more and it did get sidetracked story wise at times. Appare-Ranman has been a fun ride while it's lasted. |

| I came for the racing and stay for... well everything else? Honestly, Appare-Ranman has definitely blown away my expectations, for a die-hard race fan I was looking forward to this show so much, it was my most hyped show when it started back in April. The final showdown was pretty great, they all set their lives at risk taking Gil head on. Good thing that Dylan and TJ managed to beat him. TJ got serious after removing those goggles. Gil was one hell of an overpowered villain though. I would have loved it if they had mentioned what's up with Gil's eye eventho it was obvious. Appare stopping that train in the nick of time. Race managed to resume a month later and well, no surprises there but Appare won with his steam engine that send him even flying. But damn, My girl Xialian got second place, YOU GO GIRL! Great show, great set of characters and really nice action and racing. The OP was an absolute banger, sadly couldn't be best OP of the season as it had to go up against the Re:Zero OP. 9/10 SkyLETV said: One last thing. | This turned out to be so much better than I thought. I thought it would be a fun racing anime but it was never about the race; it was about the journey that Appare & Kosame took in a unfamiliar country and they things they learnt along the way. It's also awesome that in an anime that should've pitted the characters against each other they were actually working together and growing closer as friends for a majority of the story, which I think is great because I loved every character (except Gil... bastard) |

| I'm going to rate based on what it is, and not in what it isn't. It isn't a race/cars anime. It is a shounen/fights anime. Appare sucks ass as a character, his personality goes 160º in the sixth or so episode and in the last scene in the las episode does another 160º and back to being an idiot. The last fight was half cut and uninteresting because stoping the train that everyone knew that was going to stop needed more screen time. We don't even know what Dylan and TJ are doing after the 3 months, there go the 2 best characters of this anime. Hototo does also a 160º in his personality from episode 9 or so to the last episode, "I have to kill this guy" to "haha axe go brrrr." Also Kosame doing the idiot in the last episode and staying in EU for no reason at all. Also the villain having an eye with a cobra that is supposed to give him future vision or some shit like that? He probably hasn't seen a katana in front of his eyes in his entire life yet he dodges every single hit. Kinda unrealistic and unnecesary. Good points: The support characters are great, the animation is super good, the music is super good, the comedy is great and the vacting is good. But that won't save it from the 4 A racing story would've been so much better, I don't even like cars, but the settle was perfect for a racing anime, yet got wasted with Gil shits, disapointed. |

| Enjoyed tf out of this show, I didn't really expect to enjoy it as much as I did but, I did. Shame that because of corona delay a lot of people missed out on this fun show. It's honestly not that unique, maybe a little but It's entertaining as fuck. Gil was your typical villain who just wants destruction which wasn't that bad. Though TJ removing his goggles was hype as fuck though. They could have done much more but, It's still a solid show. Here's to hoping it could get a sequel of some sort in the future cause I feel like it didn't give us proper closure for all the characters. |

| Definitively went for the cliché ending there. Well that was pretty good. A fun and wacky show that (usually) didn't take itself seriously. It ended up way different that I expecting; basically devolving into a weird battle shounen. I think it would have liked it more if it was more focused on goofy characters racing and the Gil stuff was just a side plot. A little too much matrix bullet dodging for me. Also the contrast between how many random flunkies get shot and die, and how Gil is so savage with his crew, yet fails to land a shot on any of the squad in the final encounter... Who woulda thought when Hototo showed up going on about Snake eyes in ep 3 or w/e that he'd be like the main bad guy of the series. |

| What can one say. This show was great from the beginning, and ended on a high note. i'm fully shipping Al and Sophia bless them. Gil might of had some ocular powers but in the end he was no match for the thousands. Squeee. Epic end to an epic show! |

| yoo, wtf, this episode was crazy :D while i hated that scene when gil burned the cars and all that shit, and while this show is unreal as hell, i'll admit that all these crazy characters together were a lot of fun to watch i'll only give it a 6 tho, i can't give 10s to everything :v |

Only Appare to win a race in such a way xD It was almost the best ending, i was really hoping for some Kosame x Jing :/ After this ending, i would love to see a 2S! | The ending was too rushed for even 13 episodes, so I'm a little disappointed. But it was still interesting enough. So no doubt 7 out of 10.
