Overlord (light novel)
| Is there going to be a 4th season or is this the last? i dont read light novel so im not sure if theres enough content for 4th season. In my opinion there will be 4th season if they continue without rushing. It seems that the goal of this anime is really far far away and the possibilities are endless. I personally love this anime one of my favorite and im scared of getting life time cliffhanger if the anime ends with this season and we dont get to find out what happens. Im not a huge fan of light novels so it would be a huge problem just leaving this anime basically incomplete. |

| If its the content you're worried about, volume 10 of the LN can amount to 6 episodes while volume 11 can up to 9 episodes. And volume 12 and 13 was so thick. So if 4th season is still possible, I'm afraid it'll be rushed like the second half of the 2nd season but much worse. But who knows, maybe I'm.wrong. |

| I was at AX2018 for the world premiere and iirc the author said that we'll get a surprise at the end of this season, so I guess season 4 will be a thing. |
| I'm hoping if they do a fourth season it will be 23-24 episodes and consist of books 10-13. 10 is essentially an extended conclusion of 9 (the end of this season) 11 is standalone. 12 and 13 are one giant arc. Also, all of these are very long books. Book 13 was twice as long as volume 8, and they spent the first 5 episodes on that volume this season. But either way, season 4 is a long ways off. There is enough content right now, yes, it'd just be right up to where they currently are. |

| Yeah season 4 may take a while, the author said he will end Overlord around book 20 so it would take at least 6 seasons to complete. It's perfectly possible, every studio needs a cash cow franchise. Bones have MHA and Perriot managed to knock of 50 shitty episodes of black Clover |

Also the LN for it is one of the top selling ones and anime doesnt sell so bad either since there is a huge decline is disc sales for all anime. So in my opinion overall its very realistily to expect more seasons from Overlord but well in the end all we do is wait and hope o_o |

| I'm glad to hear that it's doing well ratings wise, this is the key to it continuing onto season 4. I think Hinamatsuri has enough manga material for a second season but it hasn't been announced yet. If Overlord continues to be popular with Japanese viewers it might go as far as season 5 or 6. This is not as ludicrous as it seems because the trend has been with 13 episode seasons. 6 seasons of Overlord would be equal to the first 3 seasons of Naruto length wise. I hope there will be at least 4 as I love this show ❤️ |

| 4th season would, depending on the pacing, be covering up until the latest released volume in the Light Novel which is the Holy Kingdom Arc. As Darklight0303 said, that arc will finally rid the fandom of self-righteous people because of what happens there, you think the latest episode was horrible enough (in a moral viewpoint)? Think again. |

| What do you think of this? It's from the very end of ED3: Am I overthinking it, or is it... If that's true, then the scene of Ainz bursting into light at the end of the ED doesn't refer to Ainz "losing his humanity", but instead to... you know, I want to avoid spoilers, so just think of the LN vol. 13 memes. Also it might be hinting at a season 4 AND 5. Imagine if in the final episode this blurred image suddenly gets clear and visible... seems like something madhouse could do, considering how they previously incorporated Renner's evil side into the episode. Though it seems someone on reddit thought of it sooner and with more detail (e.g. including the bow), but oh well... |

| On a japanese fanbase forum some said that it's almost impossible for them to release the 4th season, because they couldn't include everything in episode form. So I guess there won't be any new season unfortunately. I do liked this anime as well... I like bad guys. |

But just because an anime sold good doesn't mean It'll get continued. I personally don't believe a sequel will come... but I hope of course. | There must be another season and probably more after - I hope anyway - since I don't read the LN. TBH I didn't expect this to be really such enjoyable series! People shitting on it way too much on review section, what bullshit, the series is really great! BTW the story is like barely starting getting more and more developed. About it being rushed or not, I kinda feel the other way around. It's like first halves of both season 2 and season 3 are delaying actual story development by giving too much insight into side-story characters and their dilemmas and matters related to them, however it gives better understanding of the situation to the viewer, especially when our main guys are the BAD guys so I guess it's important to show other sides of the world and how they're doing to make the whole thing more interesting. Still, it seems to get too much into detail in what is not crucial to the actual story following Ainz's gang of the Tomb-country |

| Hmm, it could really use a 4th season to lift or redeem the show's appeal for me. Season 3 was quite the letdown, the main cast goes nowhere, Ainz and Albedo doesn't develop over 3 seasons despite being tagged as a main characters, especially the latter who is happy acting around like a shitfu. Might as well show everything Demiurge does since he's the one running the show instead of Ainz "acting" like the bad guy. It could have helped if the story addressed some of the plot-lines it introduced at the every end of season 1 or at the starting of season 2 instead of just dumping new stuff every time. It's obvious that the story is set for the long haul but this was a terrible way to leave things at. That much hyped SPLAT meme looked hilariously retarded when it got animated. Hoping the CGI stays minimal later on but I digress. |

| As someone who loves original LNs,this season and overall quality of anime is fucking abysmal.This franchasice deserves better than shitty Madhouse and their brokeass,shit and outright criminal CGI shit fiesta,but its probably has to do with budget BUT still... I truly hope that there's NO plans for 4th season. |
