No random friend requests, talk to me or at least have one meaningful conversation before adding. Also, no club invites unless I permitted it! All card club invites will be turned down instantly!!!
IMPORTANT READ! Contrary to what my taste may imply, I'm NOT an elitist. I identify as a purist and have no issues with what other people like. Do please take note of this before saying anything silly.
Feel free to ask me about any kinds of recommendations about anime. Also I'm generally open to friendly chats.
It's always fun to wander around the shore, it's surroundings offers the best of mother nature.
The wind pleases the skin with it's gentle touch, as if it's oxygen is telling you to live for
tomorrow.
The nearby woods gives off a mind soothing atmosphere, as if it's greenery is telling you
that you're part of it.
The ocean occasionally splashes at you, as if it's waves are telling you where you came
from.
After a short stroll, I began seeing some rocks washed-up from the waves, occasionally finding rounder rocks to throw at the ocean, enjoying the the circles and vibes they make. Knowing how strong they resonate with me, I began a practice to make others feel the same joy of inspiration, hoping they also would throw round rocks to produce those beautiful vibes, no matter how different they are.
And those vibes produced on that ocean is our collective wisdom...
The best way I can describe myself as simply as possible would be an introverted, dogmatic, philosophical and distant minded individual which houses an incontrovertible dogma and a heightened sense of critical perception whose primary life goal is to surface as an author. Using the anime medium(but not only) as a primary source of inspiration gathering.
(Starting to sound boring do I? Just keep on reading to see something nice.owo)
Let us all be honest towards ourselves, we all carry an idea of some sorts, therefore we all pursue that idea no matter where it started from or how vague it began as. With conviction and determination we imprison ourselves in our solidified dogmas, its shackles seals ourselves in denials from any inconvenient half-lies or half-truths we chose not to tread upon, its outer hollow cage protects us from unwanted ideas while it let us stretch out to grab any wanted ones coming through the holes, either to embrace them as part of us, or reject them as something foreign. As for why we give chase to begin with, only our innermost satisfaction can tell, the one singular trigger which started it all. For we all want to feel the moments our achievements quench us with their juice produced from the fruits of our own efforts. Only then will we find our tranquil, and our souls will be free from solitude.
(No need to remind me of how pretentious I really am. I'm doing a perfect job of reminding myself.uwu)
Here's some Tutu brand boba tea, help yourself with some refreshment after a read(it will make you feel more complete as a person). :) https://postimg.cc/phxKfrkB
(Yeah I know, not the most detailed art but what do you expect of something quickly put together in paint in a few minutes?)
2023:
2024: Bonus:
Some facts about me:
-I'm an atheist who doesn't believe in any supernatural phenomenon and dislikes when others force their religious beliefs on me. I do however appreciate the symbolism in religion, viewing it more as a parable.
-I admire various forms of arts. Literal, subliminal, avant garde, any kind of expressive art. Im generally open towards it.
-I enjoy watching various documentaries about nature and study about animals, especially in their natural habitats. Being a nature lover i tend to have a fixated kind of knowledge on some things interesting me.
-I do watch regular movies although to a much lesser extent, my favourite being 2001: A Space Odyssey.
-I love psychology and philosophy and likes to engage in those thoughts, often evaluating things related to such ideas highly, enjoying poetic, figurative and deep writing in general.
-I'm a purist, however unlike some others I do know what an opinion is and would rather prefer to keep a rational mindset and discuss things like an adult rather than partake in the vice of douchebagery. I also come with respectful recommendations instead of showing my taste down other peoples throats. I also don't believe someone is inherently stupid for liking different stuff.
-Im generally open to any kind of conversation as long as some kind of interest is shared between myself and the listener.
-I occasionally tend to be rather eccentric and long winded when conversing on some particular topics and sometimes tend to make sarcastic remarks, ditches and general insinuations.
-I do collect games(and casually figures as well). My collection primary consists of PAL games and PAL/EU exclusive stuff unobtainable anywhere else, some games are US and JAP imports due to some exceptions. Further details can be seen on my myfigurecollection.net page.
You can expect more about me to be written here whatever comes to mind in the near future. I do plan to rework and expand my presentation a bit so I'm keeping things how they are for now(no matter how improvised it feels :/).
If we have a round 2 graphic request (we should) you can request in that one too, nothing bars someone from requesting in it. Btw in my custom animelist group (linked on my profile) users can leave future requests or questions and I get to them when I can
No problem, you can leave me your request on my profile and I will count it as the last pool of requests, and get your signature to you via a comment :D
Yes I think it's safe to say that Ikuhara took a lot of inspiration from The Rose of Versailles and Lady Oscar when he did Utena. I am also trying to read more of Ikeda's manga (I have only read Rose of Versailles so far) along with other members of the so-called 'year 24 group' for their historical value, and because I like the art styles.
I have come across Uta Kata and Pretear before, but I didn't realize that they were from HAL Film Maker for some reason, which makes me want to watch them now. I recently started watching one of their longer magical girl series; Fushigiboshi no Futagohime because it has an ongoing fansub project that I want to catch up with. It's quite similar to Ojamajo Doremi, which neither of us liked that much, but I think it's decent enough. I will probably watch them after I finish with that.
Haha yes I'm not surprised that you were already planning on watching them, considering your taste in other anime. I also thought about recommending you Oniisama e..., which is an older psychological drama anime. It has some heavy themes similar to the Ningen Shikkaku part of Aoi Bungaku, but with similar directing and art to Versailles no Bara. It has more episodes than what you were looking for so I didn't include it, but I think it's worth mentioning.
And thanks for recommending Kaleido Star. I have come across the series before (probably around the time I was watching Princess Tutu), but then I pushed it to the back of my mind and forgot about, so I think I will check it out.
Hello! Just letting everyone who made requests know that all Bunkasai signatures, Colorful cards, and any extras made have been completed and are available for pickup (in case you didn't get the notification). 😊🎉 Backup albums were also added there so your graphics should always be available. And the Colorful cards make great mobile wallpapers anyone can use. There's many characters available for them- I've been using this Yuno one 🥰️
If anyone needs help with installing signatures and adding a link to the image (you can link it to a page with your Bunkasai collection!), I have a recorded guide here. More designing info and help in our club stickies.

Oh cool, nature documentaries are what I live for. Since you've seen a lot of anime, are there anime you have seen that you think aptly capture that sort of appeal?

Enjoy! Gonna put my comments/msgs to friends only so I can slow down the requests and focus on the ones in the thread
