Hey, I was just scrolling through the Promised Never land Discussion page and I saw your signature with the most underrated anime on myanimelist. Naturally it intrigue me and I had to click on it. I just want to know if that was a joke or are you being serious?

Also, I didn't mean to say that the stakes of the scene were overexaggerated, I meant to say that the scene itself is; the 3 long reactions, the long shot of the [not bad] CG hand, the sounds they played...

the Todabot dude is likely poorly educated as a self-proclaimed "elitist". I mean, he does have pretty good choices for favorite anime, but his SAO review is almost entirely incomprehensible. He's just probably a guy who easily runs out of patience, hence the number of dropped series on his profile.

Tbh, his review is more like a rant trying to sponge off the flaws from the previous two seasons and trying to make it sound good as a part of his s3 prelim "analysis". He clearly doesn't have a grasp of what any of the events in the show that took place so far are supposed to do in terms of setting up the story.

I haven't seen the NGNL Movie so I can't comment on that, but I can comment on the anime later. Since I am heading to bed right now due to work tomorrow. I won't be involving myself in a long debate though as I doubt you would consider what I feel as plot holes as real criticism. (since you well like the series XD) Sorry you have to wait though lol.

Lain has several unique facial features to distinguish her from other designs you know, for example her eyes being much more round than a typical design and her eyes having several contrasting colours in the same colour palette that the series has really make those eyes stare into your soul when you look at the backgrounds and compare it to the colour in her eyes, I can understand why you didn't like it considering your taste which I have nothing against but that design is meant to push the dark and creepy atmosphere that the series has(dark brown hair and eyes contrasting with white backgrounds), she also has several unique facial features like her short hair tied to that hair band on the side which I can't name any other character who does have that hairstyle.

You don't get the point; I'm just wondering why.Besides that, I didn't intended to argue with you for no reason
