| For some weird reason, my curiosity suddenly made me want to watch this show. Especially for Myne actually, not because I'm expecting to like her character, but because I really wanted to know what's making her so hated. And well, this betrayal is exactly what I expected. People tend to hate characters all the more if said characters betray expectations. Though I don't hate her due to not having been given enough time to truly care about Naofumi, and she might be the most entertaining character in the show. About the rest, nothing much appeals to me for now. I heard about Naofumi being different from your typical mc (at least in the beginning), but he really doesn't seem to be that interesting actually. Maybe his relationship with Raphtalia will fix that. Speaking of Raphtalia, she is another thing that made me curious, not because she has a good reputation as a waifu (I don't care about that) but because a friend told me she loves her so I'm intrigued. I just hope she can be more than just a waifu. For the plot, that's isekai. Aside from a few exceptions, it's not a genre I have much interest in so I'm not really intrigued for now. But I don't want to be close-minded (even if I know this show has a pretty bad reputation). I'll at least watch two other episodes, maybe it'll surprise me. |

| Despite how badly the series aged for me over the airing and over the years too, I somehow liked the first few episodes of this a lot when it first aired. I'm really stunned by how I liked it back then and found it to be a potential AOTY candidate already in the first week of 2019. This episode was so fast and the execution of Naofumi's switch of personality was terrible. Look, the actual process of why he became somewhat edgy, furious and not having any trust in anyone makes sense, but the whiplash effect of his personality change really felt too different for me. He's actually better as the edgelord than what he was before it. He was the blandest, phoniest happy geek with such an annoying personality, at least now he's more watchable than he was in the first half. His early interactions with Myne were painful to watch. Myne was supposed to be the villain in this whole scenario but I have the opposite reaction now than when I did the first time. She is still someone I want to see defeated and humiliated, but I'm happier with her now than before since she managed to deceive a massive goof like Naofumi and make him more watchable in the process. The rest of the setting and introductions were bleh to me. |
| At first I was thinking it would be a bad isekai, but luckily towards the end of the episode I changed my mind. I hope Naofumi gets revenge on everyone who accused him, especially Myne. |

| Man this was so fucking infuriating. My whole mood is ruined, gotta go watch some CGDCT after this. I was hooked from the start, didn't even know how 45 mins passed, felt like just another 20 minute episode. Pretty enjoyable. The world concept is good but still I always find it strange that the people who were transported to another world just don't care about their lives in their world. It's quite fucked up that they can't go back to their world until they save the isekai world from the waves, at this point shield hero has nothing for which he should live in this world for still all he can do is level up and fight the waves even though he has no obligation to, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even wanna save the world at this point, the world who was looking down upon him even before they met him etc.. I like it how he has become so much bad ass now. I just hope he gets justice, that's all I want and I want him to make the other three heroes feel like shit for how they judged him and didn't believe him. Plus I'm gonna be mad if he just forgives them. Looking forward to see how shield hero becomes more and more powerful and how he rises. |

| Wow, I thought that good anime was a thing of the past. The way this one started I didn't have much hope, a kid gets sucked into a book, big deal. Only a handful of teenagers can save the world, where have I heard this before? *Yawn* But the four kids from four different Japans was a nice twist, and the twists kept coming. Usually, the outcast gains amazing superpowers with just a little effort, this guy has to work at it. And getting all of society turned against him was a nice twist too. Best of all it passes the PKAmmoTroop Candle Test - a well animated show has great flames on the candles, you don't have to watch anything but the candle flame. Crappy flames = piss poor animation, but the best animated shows have almost perfect candle flames, which this one has. An hour long opening episode? Amazing! I'm expecting a lot from this show, it had better deliver |

| Did planting false evidence and framing someone never occur as possibilities to the court here? Obviously Myne could place her bra anywhere while Naofumi was sleeping. Maybe everyone was in on it. The shopkeeper guy might actually know that Naofumi was framed, even if he didn't mention it directly. Interesting stuff, especially with the cute dog (?) girl at the end. Naofumi's attitude after the betrayal is also a welcome change, with him becoming more direct and efficient. |

| Great episode. Perfect example of why you need to Always be careful when a B*tch is too nice to you. And those 2 other champ's have no brain... sad to see. they acted like.. Love to see myman becoming a Sasuke. That throw some money on the floor scene was perfect. |

| 20 mins and already so much plot holes in here. Seems like an isekai even I can come up with. So many Things are not explained and just waved away. But I will keep watching because I wanna see why so many people are watching it. Edit: okay the last 20 mins is good. Hope the MC messes everyone of those corrupt people. |

| First off, this another Isekai seems pretty interesting in my eyes so i decided to give it a go and it has a solid start and sad end for the first episode for our Naofumi the betrayed (god i hate the red hair bish . Lovin the op song it actually bops so props to MADKID for this one. |

| I wanted to rewatch this series for a while now. Its currently new on Netflix and I decided to rewatch it because its been getting shit on for a while now; cough cough (trash taste). I don't understand why though there are way worse series than this. This is hands down the best season, it had enough time and dedication to tell one of the best parts of the light novel. Season 2 3 and most likely 4 have bad animation and horrific pacing. Watched it last night on the big screen. Gotta say I remember why I fell in love with this series. The first episode did a lot of stuff correct. The world building, music, animation, characters hype and sympathy. I also remember why I love Naofumi so much. He's so theatrical, pure, and kind hearted in the beginning. It breaks my heart that he becomes such a cold bastard throughout the series. From what he goes through I want to see him rise and become a hero. He has to prove himself he has to clear his name. There are clear motivations and goals besides the usual "I have to return home bullshit." Also he actually wants to return home unlike a lot of other isekai protagonists. I also like that unlike a lot of other "weak" heroes Naofumi actually is fucking weak and needs teammates he can rely on, which causes more tension for his character. Also also at the very least Naofumi getting a slave makes actual narrative sense considering no one else will work with him plus he doesn't trust anyone. |

| I have traumas with Redo of Healer that I was immediately suspicious of the redhead when she approached what looked like the most inept and weakest of all the heroes, so it felt predictable to me that plot twist. The only good thing is that I didn't notice at all that the episode was 47 minutes long. |
| Really feel bad for Naofumi, hope he finds his way out of this somehow. |
