| So... good, the pacing of this episode was perfect, I actually fell for that bastard's speech, as for Sakuragi's action, indeed they were idiotic, but considering his character, they were perfectly understandable. Mario's win was also very emotional. |

| Holy crap, I have not seen a more terribly plotted episode in my life. They kept using the same thing for about seven minutes with Ishihara. My god, that was boring. The ending was a bit interesting though. But seriously that episode almost made me drop the series. |

| While I understand why some people are angry and frustrated at this episode, I think it's just part of Sakuragi's personality, really. He's very kind and forgiving. Yes, it would have obviously been a better idea to take the note to the police and all, but Sakuragi gave it up because he wanted to stay with his friends so they can both have peace of mind; Sakuragi doesn't want to worry about his friends being harmed, and so Ishihara doesn't have to be so bitter of Sakuragi's happiness and also scared of having his reputation ruined for driving Hagino to his death. It was so they both could have peace and come to an agreement between them. However, Ishihara just proved he's evil through and through, and no matter what Sakuragi will do, which is do the honorable thing by not killing him and giving him pity for all the stupid things he did, Ishihara is just too stupid to understand and has driven himself too far to even consider the act Sakuragi did. Add me to the list of feeling for Ishihara for a brief moment. I have a thing for when villains admit their mistakes. I gasped when the stabbing happened, but I should have seen it coming. I will admit that the scene did feel slow and really long, though. But it was an important scene - letting go of the connection with the bitter past between them to look forward to a life of peace ahead of them. It's quite a big step to make. So I guess I can understand that. Still loving Mario. Winced when his bones cracked. As someone who's broken bones before, I can imagine how that feels. I'm worried he's fucked up his hand for good now. I'm also liking Lilly and the American voices, they sound nice. |

| I liked what that American general said, that Sakuragi had the eyes of a kamikaze :o I really wish he could've just given that letter to the police because Sasaki would really be out of the way then, at least for few years. But Sakuragi is too kind for his own good, giving that letter to Ishihara like that, even though knowing there's no guarantee he won't be caught again or Ishihara won't try to kill him once more. And now Sakuragi is caught by Sasaki...ugh. When will the pain stop? Never? Mario too, can't believe he used his right hand when it's already broken. But it just shows his determination. |

| Come on MAL, 67.68% of "5/5: Loved it!"? I didn't vote, but this episode is definitely 5/5 material, and my first 5/5 episode for this series so far, I got chills a few times, it was simply that amazing, Sakuragi is too GAR, loved Ishihara's breakdown, and this episode somewhat made me like him as a villain, his confrontation with Sakuragi was just amazing, and his final word "H-He won't die. He won't die no matter what. No matter what I do, I can't kill him." paired with the atmosphere, the rain, the bgm, and him laying down on the street facing the sky, with that face of him, holy fuck, that was perfect. Mario, damn, if it wasn't for his broken right, he would've won! DAMN, perfect episode! <3 Narrative made it even better! <3 How I wish that the japanese letters were translated, I couldn't hear what the American said, it wasn't clear enough. P.S. and I see a lot of people didn't like the fact that Sakuragi handed in the letter by his late friend I personally loved it, especially when Sakuragi said, "Sorry, but please understand, Hagino." Edit: After reading all 5 pages of comments on this thread, I can't believe what I just read, I had to facepalm myself when someone said "OMIGOD WHY DIDN'T SAKURAGI KILL THAT ISHIHARA BASTARD??!! OMGOMGOMG." |

| I can't believe Sakuragi didn't beat Ishihara within an inch of his life. I was so mad when Ishihara stabbed Sakuragi. Just knock out the bastard. Don't let him stab you. Why did Sakuragi hand over the note?! After all what Ishihara has put Sakuragi and his buddies through, he just hands over the suicide note and leaves thinking that Ishihara will just leave his friends alone? That shitty English Looks like Sasaki pretty much got exactly what he wanted. He now has both Sakuragi and Ishihara within his grasp. Haha that waterproof suicide note. The boxing match didn't even feel intense. It was just a bunch of slow motion punches. Boxing shouldn't be portrayed as slow and sluggish. This episode made me mad because of how stupid Sakuragi was. |
