sorry for the late comment but when i came back to anime a friend recommended me something and i had to finish it as soon as possible so had no real time to react after i came back.

well i recently finished Jigoku Shoujo finally as you might have noticed i was like a sloth on anime have been busy on other things allot lately.

but i think i know what you meant there was a really big difference in S2 and S3

S1 was pretty good but could have used some more depth

S2 was a bit better they gave a bit more view in on the people who accessed hell link and there life's then they did before.

S3 was entirely different and was a bit more depth on the characters and felt more like a over all plot then just 1 episodes plots.

you disliked S3 a bit you told me but i just rated it differently then the 2 other season for sure if i did rate it comparing with season 1 and 2 i would score it lower cause it is totally not the same any more but if you see it differently as the 2 other season it is a pretty good season to. they should definitely have given more explanation about how Ai came back but unfortunately they didn't. i wasn't disturbed by the fan services parts but i got to say that was definitely not fitting its theme of the show and was unneeded for me.

i think if i Marathon this show like i usually do i would dislike it as well because of the difference with season the pause between it might have made it a bit better.

not yet still at S2 but i have been busy this weeks so didn't had much to finish it. but i think i know what you meant cause S2 is already way different then S1 i am planning to watch a few episodes more now from S2.
