| A nice mix of romcom and Sports? yes please Was really interested from the preview and trailers and the first episode made me really invested. We have our mc taiki whos really crushing on a girl chinatsu whos not only is his crush but also his motivation and drive for every day of his life. Adorable. Unlike our girl whos a star basketball athlete who almost made it to nationals our boy is a hardworking struggler in badminton whos striving to be at a better place so that he can be close to his dream girl. I like his straightforward, goofy but wholesome personality whos also bold but also reserved in the right amount. Then we have chinatsu, a little angelic but cool type as well with the charming side and really wholesome too l. I love her passion and dedication for the sport too. The side characters/friends are interesting as well, the glasses dude kyou is comical and a little harsh with his wordings but in a right way giving good advice as well. Then we have our childhood friend Hina (judging by the intro song shes gonna be an important role in the story, i guess a love triangle most probably though i am not a fan of it). Shes has a nice bubbly vibrant personality with a teasing side to her. I like her antics and shenanigans with taiki. The direction is very well done especially how well the moments between Chinatsu and taiki, the small details, the soft touches to bring out the warm feelings during their conversations, the music to perfectly fit in. Reminds me of dangers in my heart.  Speaking of conversations, taiki got to know that chinatsu family was moving away and boy he ran like his life was dependent on it & i love that he pushed her towards her goal knowing her love and passion for basketball instead of being it about his own feelings for her. But chinatsu was already motivated by him during their previous talk where she was reminded of her close encounter with nationals and returns her gratitude to him for that. But in the end it was for naught since it turns out chinatsu is staying back and on top that shes staying at taikis house? Kudos to the moms Well played. Also His dream of waking up and seeing chinatsu first thing every morning came true in a way? Taiki just got blessed for his karma indeed xD Anyways really loved the start and enjoyed it. Gonna be really looking out for this amazing show and the studio really doing amazing work and justice to the source material especially with the art and animation. Chefs kiss The opening song by Hige dandenism is great with the hype music and fluid animation complimenting it well while Eve killed it with the ED. "teenage blue" is quite the apt name, the mellow music with the vocals is just eargasm. 25 episodes of this goodness is going to be an enjoyable ride. Looking forward to next episode |

| Honestly, I just loved this 1st episode. I had really expectations for this anime, because I just got the feeling it would be good, and I heard so many praises of the manga, and I must say it didn't disappoint one bit! This first episode was so wholesome! Firstly, I already love all the characters shown so far. I also find this anime to be quite unique for a sports anime, due to the fact that it doesn't focus on just one type of sport, but there will at least be 3 sports in the anime (Basketball, Badmiton, which I think will be the main focus, and Gymnastics). Also, both Badmiton and basketball must be the sports I like to play the most, so that's also a plus. The setting of Chinatsu ending up living with the protagonist is also quite unexpected, and there's alreasy so much romance in the air, that I'm loving it a lot! The animation was, overall, really good, although the CGI was noticeable, but it's not horrible, and for the main scenes they delivered it! I also really enjoyed the cinematics of the scenes! The opening sounds good, and I think it will grow on me, and the ending by Eve is good, although probably the weakest ending I have heard from him (but I didn't hear many endings by him, only this one, the one he did for Chainsaw Man, and the Dororo one), but this song might end up growing on me too, when I get more attached to the anime! Overall, the anime has good romance, good comedy, good characters, and good sports scenes, so I'm really excited for this anime, and I think it will be probably my favorite of the season, at least from the ones I'll be watching. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE! |

| When I first saw it announced, I thought it would just be another romance, but when I found out it would also involve sports, my interest definitely grew. Now I understand why it has so many fans. Taiki and Chinatsu as protagonists have great chemistry, despite not having interacted much yet. But conveniently, Taiki’s mother knows Chinatsu’s mother, which leads to Chinatsu staying at Taiki’s house—what a lucky guy... or unlucky? Hina is very outgoing, and although it's still unclear whether she’s already in love with Taiki or will be, it seems likely that a love triangle is about to form. It’s a shame because both lead girls are so charming. Overall, it was a lovely and entertaining first episode with beautiful visuals, and the OP and ED were stunning. Could this be the romance of the season? |

| Two cours of this right here? Daaaamn we’re eating like gourmets this season with romance, we already were last season and fall is not letting up, love to see it. And this was a very good start, I hadn’t ever heard of this before but looks like it’s got a big following, and so far I can see why because this was some pure sweetness right off the bat, our boy Taiki went from having no interactions with his crush Chinatsu, to having some heart to hearts in the gym, and now they’re living together, that really caught me by surprise, so that thing about waking up everyday and seeing Chinatsu was very immediate foreshadowing huh lol, this development is gonna make things really interesting beyond the cuteness at school. And Chinatsu isn’t the only cute babe of the show, we also have Hina who’s already had some fun moments, I like her a lot already so I’m looking forward to seeing more of her along with the main couple. And this romance also happens to have a side of sports, I like sports anime but haven’t really seen many (something I gotta change), so I’m excited for this aspect too, I think it will make the romance more unique. And of course I can’t forget to mention how beautiful this show is, yeah there’s some CGI here and there but as long as the romance scenes are done this beautifully, I don’t mind a little CGI lol, Telecom really done an amazing job. And the OP and ED were really great too, been a while since I’ve heard Eve in an anime and this is another great one by them, OP is also really good but the group name “Official HIGE DANdism” is quite the name lol, each show I picked for my Thursdays this season had a group I hadn’t heard of before with a unique name, always down to hear new stuff tho no matter what the name is, if anything that makes them more memorable lol. |
| The quality of this episode is so good, that I already know the adaptation will be cooking. The manga was one of the first I've ever read so seeing it get adapted is just amazing. |

| 06:24 was my favorite background animation hahaha, jokes aside I'm glad to keep seeing good stuff from WIT Studios as makes me look forward to One Piece remake. I wasn't going to watch this, because was feeling like watching a school sports anime, even if badminton is similar to tennis in multiple senses, but I saw someone say on dandadan they were looking forward to this too, and someone here say it's not really a sport anime, they just include sports. Episode 1 was great, I learned badminton is a 1v1 sport (I know nothing about it) which I like and for similar reasons as the masochist. And I love [watching] basketball so her doing basketball is awesome! The build-up to them apparently living together is hilarious. They have such a wholesome relationship. His badminton mate will be shocked LOL. 5/5, I will be giving pre-emptive 9/10 as have high expectations now. Glad to have picked up and hope the romance (and comedy hahaha) continues <3 |

| was a decent start to one of the most hyped new romances. i always thought cloverworks would be more fitting but this is pretty decent. feels bizarre to finally see taiki, chinatsu, hina and kyo animated for some reason. now taiki and chinatsu's cohabitation together beings. |

| The first episode was really good and I enjoyed it. I understand there is an element of surprise at finding out the girl he likes is going to stay with them, but his expression was more like someone he didn't like or is uncomfortable with moving in, rather than him being happy it is her that's moving in. I don't get those anime reactions, they don't fit the anime. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| Excellent way to shake yourself awake i see. Free practice though is an excellent idea. Great intro and visuals with it. Their school sure is pretty sports heavy. Hina sure is a bundle of positivity. Nice that Chinatsu actually does know his name. But man to think that his crush is now also his new housemate. |

| Nice first episode. Senpai is a deredere, which I like, as well as the pink-haired girl. Opening theme by HIGE DANdism is awesome, and it surprised me with the time signature changes. |

| ABSOLUTE CINEMA 🙌 They cooking so hard with the Animation and the artwork. The lighting was gorgeous and also the OST was amazing. That POV shot was breathtaking. I really hope this level of Quality wasn't only just for episode 1. Now they living under the same roof? What a very strong start!! |

| Very nice first episode! It developed in an elegant way, halfway between romanticism and timid youth, with touches of humor, but the twist it took at the end was tremendous! Girl and boy living in the same house! The animation style was cool, from the use of the colours to the design of the characters!!! kekeke |

| I can't believe it's finally here. Blue Box is the very first manga that I have started as it came out, I've been with Blue Box since the very beginning, so this really means something to me. I gotta say, that was absolute perfection, I wouldn't have had it any other way. OP was amazing, ED as well and every freaking close up shots of Chinatsu was majestic as hell. Now I will just be here enjoying 25 episodes of cinema. |

| Well, this one came in with a lot of hype so my expectations are moderately high. Aside from that slow first 10 minutes and an opening that aside from animation didn't leave me with much, there seems to be some chemistry between the main characters. We've barely seen much of the rest and the misunderstanding were cute I guess. Still, the most important part of the episode came by the end were it was revealed that they'll now live together at least for a while. This I didn't expect and I'm now curious if they'll seize it or become bland as a result. |

| Really enjoyable first episode, despite the fact that the typical "loser"/"regular boy" starts a relationship with the most popular and prettiest girl in school, of course this girl is single and everything is going perfectly for this relationship to blossom, it doesn't matter, the episode was mega cute, and the main couple is well-drawn, the pink-haired one will probably create a triangle and there will be some typical drama xD The animation, apart from the CGI of the crowd, was very good, I hope it holds up for these 25 episodes. I'm not a fan of romances but this one looks great, especially since it won't be based only on romance and it seems that there won't be any typical boring school matters but sports, I dream of a combination of Haikyuu and some romance, this anime can provide me with that. The MC, despite the slight cringe that he causes with his blunders, is really pleasant and his feelings for the main girl are believable. 5/5 |
