I'm an old school anime fan that has been watching anime since 1995. I was a member of an anime club from 1996-2001, and once I graduated from university, I moved away. I spent 11 years in Japan from 2005 to 2016, and didn't watch much anime during that time. However, I have recently come back to anime, and I've started an anime review blog.
Outside of anime, I'm an academic writing specialist, English teacher, and content creator with more than 60,000 subscribers on YouTube (not related to anime). I have a degree in physics and astronomy.

Oh I see!!! Yes, I have used THEM Anime website to read the anime review (I don't have an account/profile on there, but I'm familiar with that site). You do seem credible judging from what you tell me. I'm sorry you didn't signed up for MAL many years ago, you would've been an excellent anime and MAL veteran if you had joined MAL many years ago. Good luck if you can gain a good reputation on this site. Glad I befriended you on this site, you're going to need me.
I'm kind of amazed you didn't joined MAL a decade earlier, why did you decided to joined/signed up just this year instead of like back in 2009/2010? Beside MAL, do you have other profile/accounts relating to anime/manga like maybe a Anilist profile? Anyway, welcome to MAL!!!
