I do however understand that this world has different morals and that may be fine, BUT (and this is a big but) she was forcing herself upon him while being fully aware he has a wife (and soon a child).

So why do we, as viewers, consider him otherwise and call him a pedophile? I agree that what Roxy did with him is not right, when she was fully aware that he was married and a father to be. But, those are from our standards and beliefs. In their world, they believe that grief can be healed through sexual activities and that's why Roxy went ahead and slept with him after Elinalise suggested it. She was fully aware that she is taking advantage of his condition. Eris also slept with Rudeus to get over her sorrow of losing her parents. If anything, I feel like Rudeus is getting used here. |

| @MasterHavik That was a censored part of the anime adaptation. In the source material Rudeus threw Roxy down and he himself started the cheating with her slight consent. He was very rough, but the anime tried to spin it so Rudy did not look so morally bad. Roxy did not originally plan to bang Rudy when she found out he has a wife, but Rudy insisted on it. |
