Just as the tree grows a new ring with every passing year, the anticipated day shall soon arrive that marks you as being one year older and wiser than you previously were. This is both a great blessing and curse, as others begin to expect more and more of you as time passes by, but also less of you in some ways that were previously in demand. Pedigree, a thorny bush in and of itself, sprouts from you and pricks the careless hands that pick on you as they used to, but the call to duty and the presence of responsibility loom over your character like some dark cloud threatening to rain too. Well, at least those things are usually treated like some dark cloud. For myself it was more of a very bright sun with mild humidity - blinding, should you stare too long and too directly at it, but otherwise manageable with a pair of sunglasses, a cold drink, and central air.
All this to say: happy early birthday. I have little doubt I shall miss its celebration, but I write in-advance of my approval for it. Despite my prognostications of your untimely demise in all games forum (and domestic?), I wish you health and happiness so plentiful that there is enough of the stuff to go around.
Geez, I have no idea how to handle that compliment...considering the fact that it is from you.
Well, you can do so. It's pretty good stuff up till a certain point where a certain character is back in the mix. The series after that point lost me a bit. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by the ending. The first 120 or so chapters are pretty entertaining. Just my opinion, take what I just said with a grain of salt
It was an enjoyable read with an interesting concept. Can't say that I understood what exactly the mangaka wanted to tell us readers with the story. The ending was pretty good in terms of its narrative but it did leave me confused at first, had to read the final few pages again to understand xD
The ending is left to the interpretation of the reader, which is really a hit or miss. As for me, I felt like it did all it could to wrap Nakoshi's story.
Some parts of it were plain ridiculous, which did throw me off a lot but overall, it was an enjoyable read.

I can assure you she didn't taste that way, though!!
(Also, I see you've found yet another manga that you've come to like in the form of Vinland Saga)
