| I just hope Haikyuu can keep this level of greatness. KnB tried but it started to suffer from the why-is-the-main-team-always-winning-syndrome, even if it tried hard to cover it up. Haikyuu will need to keep things interesting continuously while offering us proof why must they be the winning team and not their opponents. This is going to be rough, but I believe they can do it! Haikyuu is the best sports anime, after all. |

| This episode. First "oya oya", then "niku niku oh niku niku", and now that unforgettable three-person tribal-style dance just tops everything yet. Seriously, what makes HQ better is the comedy. It does comedy so well. So well. I fell off my damn chair man. This whole episode was full of various lmao scenes. Also, wouldn't want to be Yacchan. How is she still fine after that?! o.O Plus, those two Fukurodani chicks are cute <3 That animation when Bokuto the Simpleton dunked, I mean, spiked! Majestic! Those teethed smiles from KageHina near the end. Frikkin love those :D Conclusion. Best episode this week. Haikyuu!! is just revving up folks! Prepare yourselves. |

| Episode excellent although there is no match, this anime series manages to entertain thanks to component slice of life that never loses force in any episode. Very good growth figures, it also always present in every episode. Drawings and animations of a good standard, but now with the plot starts to get serious, hooray! Xenocrisi said: Who new arc Yay! |

 I love how the first time Bokuto calls Tsukishima "Tsukki" he gets upset, but Yamaguchi does it all the time, every day, 24/7 and Tsukishima never complains about it. |

| Easily the worst episode of the franchise so far. What does prevent defense do - IT PREVENTS YOU FROM WINNING I'm assuming they'll learn from this, but after a season and a half, they still don't seem to know how to learn from certain mistakes. |

| Fukurodani is a really cute team. Bokuto covers for when the team is feeling weak and the rest of the team covers for him when he's weak. Bokuto being the baby of the team is hilariously accurate. I specifically loved the end of the match where everyone did a rehearsed cheer for him to cheer him up. You could feel the tension cut as soon as the match was over. We had interactions like Hinata and Kageyama goofing on each other again, showing they're able to talk and be best pals again pushing each other in all the right ways. Tsukki and Yamaguchi laughing to themselves. The seniors picking on Asahi for being too negative. And the whole food scene too! With Noya, Tanaka and Tora being on Shimizu watch. Everyone found the ways they needed to to improve and they've given it their all! In the looseness and light heartedness of these interactions you can see it. They're ready to give it their all at the prelims. I LOVE THE GOOFY MOMENTS KAGEYAMA GETS SOMETIMES SO MUCH! The angry juice box last season, the adorable yawn earlier this season, or the scene this episode where he choked on the food that he was scarfing down too fast are great examples of it. It always illuminates just how much of a kid Kageyama is. He may appear to be serious but he's just as silly as anyone else. Still, nothing has outlived the season 1 argument on the cooler position. It's always a great way to give some life to the character and make him feel like he has more depth. Tsukki got pretty close with the other teams this training camp. The pushy uncles joke got me good. Hearing his brother confirm that Bokuto was right made him get a genuine smile too which may be the first time we've seen that! It was a perfect way to end this tension cutting, cool down episode by revving us up with a montage of everyone Karasuno will have to beat. Now let's hope they do what the Nekomata coach wishes and play with no regrets. Here's a million great screen shots from the episode because it had that many: |

| Wow, that was some end to this arc by hyping for the next! Seeing those top-tier players working hard and preparing for the tournament was bloody hype-worthy to say the least. Lol @ Dateko’s blocker with his trademark way of intervening and stopping fights. Damn, got to say, Fukurodani is a really dangerous time though. Certainly didn’t expect them to play even better with the ace out of shape lol but now it makes sense why they’re national level. Hilarious how the team lifts up his spirits though. At least that quick with a certain boost has connected and is within range to perfection. And finally into the meaty part (quite literally, that is). Seeing those super hungry faces was hilarious and some gold comedic moments here and there too! Nishinoya and his gang’s little skit was hilarious but that bit on Yachi was mad hilarious! Amazing that Karasuno went down with over 60 losses and 3 wins, but we’ll definitely be seeing a new side of this team soon (or so I hope)! And off to the Spring Tournaments, we go! |
